Horrible experience. Absolutely no parking near the hotel, had to park in the oversized lot because there were several vendors who parked their trucks behind the hotel. Had to walk from the oversized lot where we kept our compact cars overnight off the side of the highway. Lightning makes it look like it’s a motel. Room smelled like stale cigarettes, AC kept going into sleep mode during the day so room was horrid when we came back, tv was beyond basic with no way to change inputs. Room had a few stains. Comfortable bed and pillows though.

From the moment you walk in to the hotel you can see how clean they keep it. The staff are friendly, polite & very accommodating!! Our entire experience from checking in to checkout was wonderful! They provided us with free breakfast along with late checkout! The room was nice, comfortable and clean!! They are conveniently located off of 495 and close to shopping, restaurant’s & gas stations etc! It was such a pleasure staying there, that we are booked for another stay in December.

Housekeeping staff for the rooms were very subpar. Rooms were not cleaned daily. They only took out the garbage in the room, but didn’t sweep or mop the floor or clean the washroom. They removed the towels, but did not replace what they removed. I had to go to the front desk several times to get towels. The breakfast area wasn’t cleaned as often as it needed to be. I had to clean off my own table so my family could sit down to eat. Front end staff were good.

My main thing at staying at a hotel is cleanliness, which according to reviews for here was very clean. Sadly I didn't have that experience and am honestly really disappointed that I went for the more expensive hotel just because reviews said it was clean. All the "clean" towels had stuff on them, the room smelled weird, and there was mold in the shower under the soap dishes and the really annoyingly placed hand bar. One lady at the front desk couldn't be bothered and was kind of rude. Upon check out all she said to me was "you booked through expedia so theres no receipt". That's it. No "thank you for staying" or "have a good day" or even "bye". MY husband said she was also rude during checkin. Our room phone didn't work to even call the front desk, we had to use our cellphones. The wifi was horrible, and the bathroom fan didn't work. Won't be staying here again.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The staff at the desk was very friendly. The room had a weird smell and there were hairs everywhere. I am not sure if they just didn’t clean the room properly. Even the elevator floor was covered in water. Not sure if it was from other residents who were using the pool. Overall I would not recommend this place.

The entire duration of our stay, we received housekeeping services zero times. Since when did it become custom to not receive housekeeping services? Hotel public areas are not air conditioned. That makes for very poor air quality.. we won't stay here, again.

This property was an average stay. It was fine for an overnight but nothing to brag about. Our main issue is that when we went to our room, the AC was disassembled and the room smelled because of it. We asked to switch rooms but they were sold out. The front desk person was attempting to be accommodating and sent someone up within a half hour to fix the problem but sleeping with that smell was not great.

Hotel is in need of major renovations, it’s old and the two rooms I had were disappointing, frayed carpets, dirty floors, cracked ceilings. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay this isn’t it, being right off the Expressway you hear nothing but racing traffic. The most disappointing aspect is there is no wireless service and they offered nothing but excuses as to why wireless does not work there on Apple products, which just about everybody has. Also, housekeeping was horrible. When I pay for a hotel stay I expect my room to be cleaned and fresh towels daily, not a “limited” housekeeping service. I would not recommend staying here, I expected better service out of an IHG property, however like everything post COVID all they seemed to do is offer excuses and have a lack of staff to provide valuable services.

Just okay. Beds are not very comfortable, there is a lot of noise coming from the highway, elevator buttons don't work well, there are some major potholes on the driveway. Free breakfast is pretty good, overall the property is fairly clean. Location worked well for us.

Pros: easy access due to location Cons: parking was a nightmare, they did not have enough spaces to accommodate paying guests, nighttime front desk guy was zero help or pleasant, rooms and bathrooms are outdated, hotel needs major maintenance, especially the elevators! Super slow and shaky. Bathrooms are in major need of repairs/clean up, saw two faucet bugs during our stay. For the hefty per night charges it was not worth the stay. Never again.

The Hotel itself was great but the main attraction was Sonia at the front desk she was absolutely amazing. She is the epitome of great hospitality service. She went over and beyond her duties to make sure that we had a great stay and for this reason I will only stay at this hotel when I am in town and I will tell friends and family to stay at this hotel when they are in town to get the amazing Sonia experience. The hotel is an excellent location right along the LIE. and easy to access. The breakfast was good and plentiful choices. The room was comfortable but I did not like that on the first floor there was no way to completely cover the window. There is a sheer curtain over the window and no shades or black out curtains that would protect from a peeping Tom.

Clean comfy spot. Legit on demand coffee 24/7. Breakfast included. The location is not ideal as gps hasnt recognized the service road entrance. Nothing you can nicely walk to. Need to sell beer and wine onsite. Not sure how but they can better cater to the folks flying in and out without a rental car.

My daughter and I are Celia and there was really not anything that we could eat at breakfast. Staff struggled to tell us what was gluten free. Property was clean, front desk and housekeepers friendly and very helpful. Breakfast not as good as other Holiday Inn Express. Cinnamon rolls more like biscuits and no frosting, ran out of pancake batter at 8 and didn’t get it refilled before we left at 8:45 and we even requested it.

Front desk person was very rude and hung up on me. I made a reservation for staff. I explicity told them the staff member was coming in a few hours late and would be tired and don't want them to cancel the prepaid reservation. When the staff member arrived that is exaclty what happened. The staff member said they were ablet to get the reservation reinstated. However, I was miffed that thishappened as I did not want any hiccups. When I complained to the front desk, she said it was resolved so what is the problem. She was quite rude. She eventually just hung up on me. I decided to write a letter to her manager. Got no response. I read reviews on the hotel manager. Apparently he has a reputaiton of being rude and discourteous as can be seen on reviews of hotel. He never responded.

Smoking area right in front of the hotel is not ideal, uncomfortable, and my youngest granddaughter noticed younger kids smoking marijuana as if it were a party. Not acceptable, Parking situation not the best, a party bus consumed 6 slots one night - parked sideways, Morning breakfast was ok, for $1,200 paid for 5 nights, accommodation should have been better. Hilton offer more for that price, unfortunately there isn't one nearby in this part of Long Island. 31/2 star rating.

This was our first time staying here. I am picky, but I was pleasantly impressed. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. Even the bath towels were better than some of the comparable hotels. Miyooki at the front desk was professional yet friendly. She always greeted us with a smile whenever we managed to be present during her shift. Little did she know that we were in town for a funeral and Miyooki’s warm and pleasant demeanor meant so much. If there was one thing that could be improved upon, it was the breakfast. I love a pot of hot steel oats. However, it was only available in the instant oatmeal packets. The sweet warm cinnamon rolls were a hit with our family though. We would certainly stay here again and think other front desk staff members should shadow Miyooki and observe how well she interacts with guests. I have a career in customer service spanning decades and industries, so I always take the time to complete surveys and compliment those who know what it means to deliver great service. Miyooki is a keeper!
