Older motel, well kept. Clean and well maintained. The pool was nice - colder water however perfect for the 100 temps during our stay. It's outdoors and right next to a very busy, loud street. Breakfast was good, continental style with lots of options. The breakfast sandwiches were a big hit with our group.

One night on a road trip. We were able to safely park our trailer. Bed’s comfortable room clean. Can walk to restaurants. The free breakfast was great. Egg ham and cheese sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, bagels. And a peeled hard boiled egg in a plastic bag I took for the road. Very friendly staff. Will be back again!

We booked this hotel because it said it had a pool we got there in the pool was closed my grandkids were not happy. Sites that advertise things but don't offer them when you get there they should have to credit you

It looks dated on the outside (like every other property on the strip) but is clean and well cared for on the inside. The staff is pleasant and polite. The pool is nice. Breakfast is very limited. The highway is really close and trucks are loud. The AC is loud and necessary, so bring ear plugs. Probably the best option in the middle of the desert.

I do not know how this place has good reviews. It is outdated and dirty. The non smoking room smelled like smoke, carpet is stained, curtains are ripped, and the air conditioner is very dirty.

Clean room/bathroom, comfortable even though the beds weren’t super soft. Appreciated the big fridge and microwave and the hot shower. Easy check in and out. We left well before 6 am but the front office was open and the kind front desk lady let us grab some breakfast food. Good variety. I’d stay here again when passing through Winnemucca. Good price.

We were looking for a less expensive room for our overnight stay and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this little motel was. It looked newly painted, our room had been renovated … so no old carpet. The room was very clean and the beds had nice linens and were very comfortable. The complementary breakfast was fine. The location was on a busy street but our room was further back and once inside the room we didn’t hear much of the noise.

Despite being a little dated the rooms were exceptionally clean, large and well-maintained. The towels were fluffy and absorbent, the bathroom very clean and the water pressure was amazing. Additionally, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and parking was plentiful. I would, and have already recommended the motel to friends traveling through the area.

My husband and I were passing through to break up the drive time of our trip to Utah, for this purpose, the room was great. When we arrived the motel was packed, every room was full. Check in was simple, it was late so I rang the bell, quickly someone came and helped me. Check in probably only took 2 minutes. The bed was comfy, it had plenty of seating other than the bed, the tv worked well. The room also had a mini fridge and a microwave. They also have a pool that people were swimming in when we arrived. One of the reasons I chose to stay here is because they offered breakfast. They had breakfast sandwiches, bagels, hard boiled eggs, muffins, fruit, cereal, coffee and cocoa. The thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. It was so small that I had to straddle the toilet to be able to close the door and get in the shower. I’m not sure if this is because we had the corner room or not.

The room curtains do not completely block out the harsh lighting outside the rooms and the parking area, however. There was nothing in my reservation info that said I would have to check in by a certain time or I wouldn’t have a room. After an exhausting day traveling all day with several young kids on my own we pulled into Winnemucca right around midnight only to find the lobby closed with a sign saying they would be back at 6am. I was left completely stranded in the middle of the night with kids from 4years old to 13 years old who needed a place to sleep so we could continue our journey with another full day of travel the next day. By the time we found an open lobby at another hotel (which I wouldn’t have chosen otherwise, but we were desperate) we finally all got to bed at 2 am. This was after carrying my sleeping kids one at a time to a second floor because that was all that was available. Please be more clear with people if they have to check in early or be locked out.

Disliked that you could hear the conversation from the occupants in the room next to ours. Loved the customer service at the front desk, they went above and beyond by sending a left item to our home within two days! Finally, the breakfast was grab and go, perfect for a busy morning scheduel.

And when we left, I noticed that I had left an expensive item in the room, called the front desk and before I got back to the reception area that item was wrapped in a piece of paper and put in a drawer for its safety, no one does that! I searched for a low-cost yet highly rated hotel in Winnemucca and the Holiday Motel came up on top. Although an older property, the room appeared to be newly remodeled. It was spotless and had wonderful little ammenities like Starbucks K-cups, dinner mints and wonderfully scented travel soaps. The beds were quite comfortable and the room was quiet even though we were next to the ice machine. The staff was friendly and engaging. The few people that we met were repeat guests who obviously felt the same way. Even dog biscuits for our pup! We'll stay here next time we travel to/thru Winnemucca!

Winnemucca is not a destination spot - it's a place you stay to break up a longer trip. This was our first stay at the Holiday Motel based on other travelers' reviews. We will stay here again! Although it was located on the main street , it was surprisingly quiet, clean, and well appointed. Plus, they allow dogs for a modest $15 fee. We didn't use the pool but it also looked inviting. We usually stay away from continental breakfast offerings, but this, too, was quite well done with a focus on individually wrapped items. I should also say this was about the fourth time we've stayed night in town. Holiday Motel was by far the best we've found.

Good option for getting a rest while traveling. Comfortable beds. The maid started cleaning rooms before 8am though. Was awakened to the sound of vacuum cleaners from next door at a little past 7:30am. Was put in the room right across from the ice machine, but luckily was not kept awake by that. Breakfast was decent.
