The place is conveniently located to major highways and a big shopping mall. However, the facility shows heavy use and worn out with old and stained carpeted hallways. The furniture in the room is OK in terms of functionality but you can see edges and lamination of cabinets etc missing. I cannot say it is dirty but definitely not in good shape as other Extended stays I have been to. It was the lowest price that I could find, so as like in the old adage ‘you get what you pay for’.

I don’t like that the gym is not available. I believe this is why the rates are usually higher at this location than the other ESA hotels. Therefore the rates should match other lower rates because the gym amenities are not being utilized with accommodations as advertised.

The good: the room had a kitchenette and comfortable bed. The bad: the appliances and cupboards are old and outdated - the rooms are badly in need of renovation. The property had no ice machines. The kitchenette did not have any pots, pans, small appliances (except for a microwave), plates, mugs, glasses, or cutlery in the room. You had to request those things from the front desk - it's the first property where I experienced that. The room also smelled old and musty.

First off, the front desk employees and the manager were absolutely excellent. I wish I could remember their names correctly. I do remember a front desk employee a young woman named Maysia. The manager was a Somalian gentlemen whose name was Duodan or something like that and the other employee was a Middle Eastern gentleman whose name I do not remember but I believe it began with an “A”. All three are superb employees who deserve recognition!!! The hotel is old and sorely needs updating. We were not aware that people actually live there. The pool was concreted over and there were strange people hanging outside the entrance late into the night. I actually did not feel safe. I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately the only good thing about it all was the staff!

A nice affordable option. The room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was only coffee and some instant oatmeal and the gym was closed for construction. Especially for a Rutgers visit, a very respectable option.

When you first walked in the lobby all you can smell is weed. Check in was nice and easy. Got to my room and it was dirty. Crumbs on the table, mouse poop in the cabinets, pieces of the floor tore up. The weed smell was coming through the vents. I left and went to another hotel.

The room smells of mildew and cigarettes. Bathroom and kitchenette cabinets are old and rickety.burn stains on kitchen counter and rusted cooktop. Found hair in the sheets and blankets and had to go down to the desk and get replacements to change them myself. Also, there was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed so I had to go downstairs to get that as well. Double beds were comfortable though.

I like the safe location and convenience of property. Staff is very professional always. What I didn't like is getting sick from horrible lingering strong foul odor of skunk marijuana permeated into my room. Some rude guests are Not complying with the hotel's NO SMOKING policy. This is a nuisance as well as a serious health concern for for myself and other guests.

The initial room I was given wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There were wet towels in the dresser as well as tucked away in the couch/bed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The second room was cleaner. The walls and ceiling are thin you can hear everyone above you and around you.

We did not get the value of what we paid. The website mentioned 6 people can fit in room but it was very small room. Also breakfast had just granola bars and coffee. Will not recommend.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful, but there were two main issues: 1) The sofa bed, which we had to pay extra for, had a mattress that was in terrible condition. My kids said it was the most uncomfortable bed they've ever slept on, with every spring distinctly felt. 2) Expedia listed it as "breakfast included". The actual hotel website I now see says "free grab-and-go breakfast". What that turns out to be is coffee, oatmeal packets, and granola bars.

It’s an older facility. Our first room smelled terrible but the staff was responsive and moved us to a different room. The beds are not very comfortable and the room just looked worn. It was a quick trip and we just needed a place to sleep. It was fine but we would not go back.

Nothing. Like the pictures, they place smell horrible too small and I founded a bug in the shower, people not friendly at all except for Felicia the only friendly face I saw in this place I booked from the 10 to the 13 and the place was horrible they mention continental breakfast I got coffe and snack

The room was spacious and clean. The ladies that clean the hotel are very polite, nice and always smile. The managers are so nice. Felicia is the best, she is so sweet and very friendly. I can't forget to mention the young man Yosh at the front desk. Thank you to them for making our stay the best and most comfortable.

The hotel is located in a remote area. Need to have a car to travel to eateries. We appreciated that the room is clean and the staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered only 2 items : Granola bars and coffee. Still considered good for a short stay.

Hotels.com has misleading information. They said breakfast included. Don't believe Hotels.com. Their breakfast was a paper bag with a granola bar. This was worst than airplane food. The hotel was very dirty. I've attached pictures for you to see. The AC unit was dusty. The bathroom sink cabinet was broken and falling down. The kitchen was not well kept and very old. I will NEVER TRUST Hotels.com again.

The room was stinky. In Expedia, they mentioned that the room included with breakfast but they just had coffee and oatmeal. They didn’t even clean the trash in the room after day1 stay. So we had to overflow the trash for the 2nd day. Don’t recommend this for families

The property was in average condition. Our bathroom smelled like it was used as a smoking closet. Cleanliness was good, but couldn't stand the smell in the bathroom. The "Free Breakfast" consisted of packets of instant oatmeal, or Nutri-Grain bars and coffee or tea.
