You get what you pay for. I was hoping for a diamond in the rough. It’s just rough. As noted in other reviews it is dated, which is ok. What’s not ok is the mold. It’s mostly in the bathroom but also on the ceiling. Some of the lights were out as well. Both issues were brought to the staff’s attention and nothing was addressed. Not ok. The room seemed clean at least. From shoddy handyman fixes in various spots of the room, to the dirty/leaking ac units with buckets on the walkways to catch the condensation to the very old appliances, I recommend you dig deeper in your wallet. After seeing the lack of care for their property I was terrified to imagine just how they prepare their free breakfast so I never tried it. Their online photos do not reflect what it looks like.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We checked out early because we couldn’t bear another day here. The nightmare started at check‑in: the staff was rude, dismissive, and refused a refund. They double‑booked our room and blamed a “clerical error” due to someone having a “similar name,” which makes no sense. The clerk rolled her eyes, brushed off the mistake, and told me I “should be happy” because the new room was closer to the beach by about 10 feet. When I raised safety concerns about room codes being texted for a double‑booked room, she acted like I was overreacting. The room was filthy. The chaise lounge was stained, the floor was damaged and sticky, and the whole suite smelled like stale feet. Several lights were broken or missing bulbs. Worst of all, every time the vent turned on, it blasted the smell of cigarette smoke into the room. The pool area was unsafe and dirty. The gate looked out of code and even injured another guest. The water was full of sand and debris, and we never saw anyone clean it. The beach landing was blocked by a huge pile of sand and littered with cigarette butts, trash, and swarms of flies. The shower steps were covered in algae and the drains were clogged. Breakfast was poorly managed. Staff refused to restock basics like bread, milk, and gravy until multiple guests asked. The orange juice machine dispensed colored water. Save your money. This property is dirty, unsafe, and poorly managed.

Rooms were nice. Staff wasn’t friendly, mainly the person doing the breakfast, dining room area. Building needs some maintenance outside, it’s pretty old. It was quiet and clean so that was a plus.
