I understand the price goes along with what you get and I can’t say the room was awful. The bed was ok, not awful but not very comfortable. It was a king size for my husband and me and only had 3 very small pillows. We went down to ask for more - because we couldn’t find a phone in the room - and the guy seemed confused with the request and asked if we had 3 but said he’d go try to find more, he did get us 2 more. We found the phone shoved in a nightstand drawer, not plugged in, don’t know if it worked. The old air conditioner was very loud, hard to sleep with it running but it was too hot to not have it on. It’s also the type that makes your room and clothes damp after enough time running. I saw a picture of the rooms online and it showed having a hair dryer so I didn’t pack mine. It didn’t have one. I wish they had coffee in the rooms but again, you get what you paid for. My husband went down to the lobby for coffee around 9am and it was lukewarm and no sugar or creamer out.

This hotel room was adequate. The customer service was terrible. When I checked in they said that they wanted a deposit and it had to be in cash. Then when I asked to stay longer, a couple of hours, they said that I had to pay $15.00. They treated me like a criminal, and I always pay my bills, the man from the front desk kept following me around until I came to pay them the $15.00. I told them I will not return to this hotel again.

We checked in. When to a party. Came back at 2am and they gave away our room to someone else. They said it’s their policy to rent it out if we don’t close the blinds. Insane. We drive around for hours looking for a hotel

First we were told it was only a $50 deposit on the phone and then when we checked in they made us give a $75 deposit. They offer free breakfast but you can't take anything back to the room you have to stay and eat in the office. They give 2 packs of coffee in the room and when we went to the office to ask for more they only allowed us to have 2 additional packs. There were 3 of us staying, 1 pack of coffee is 1 cup of coffee. Our 85 year old dad stayed with us and he had an accident in the bed and they kept our deposit. No empathy at all just really cold hearted people. We will never go back and I hope they have the same thing happen to one of their family members and get the same treatment that we received. Just rely nasty and cold hearted!!!!!

I gave the Econo Lodge a try, while working in Concord North Carolina area. A first and last night. The area is very sketchy and the room was shabby. Broken furniture and lamp was what was noticed first. Could see light through main door, as the bottom weather stripping was partially missing. The bathroom was is poor condition, with stains on the sink counter and all lighting, throughout the room, was dim, making it like a room from a bad movie. The shower looked updated, with an easy step in feature and the only thing that looked new in the entire room was the shower curtain. Would only recommend ONLY as a VERY last resort. Beware ⚠️

Horrible place. I stayed here for almost 2 months traveling for work. The price kept going up. Police are there multiple nights a week. Even had the police point a rifle at me, found a needle on top of the wardrobe, the "clean" towels they would bring would be dirty and stained, toilet barely flushed, smoke detector was hanging by the wires.. Nothing but drug dealers, gang members and prostitutes staying there. Extremely noisy and the other guests are allowed to loiter and be loud in the parking lot all night. In 2 month's I may have gotten a few good night's sleep. This place should't even be allowed to stay in business. Avoid at all cost!
