Stayed 2 nights

My husband and I checked in around 7pm. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and gave useful information about breakfast, etc. Once we got in our room the phone rang and it was the gentleman from the front desk asking if our room was okay and if we needed anything just let him know. The hotel was clean, the staff very kind, and breakfast choices were great. It was not a fancy hotel but I would rather have a clean place and nice people. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay at Sleep Inn again.

This hotel stay was a miserable experience and the staff badly mishandled it. When we entered the room, the smoke detector was chirping every 20 sec. We called the front desk and asked for another room but they insisted on fixing it.After two attempts, it seemed fixed. At 3:55 am, it started chirping again. Called the front desk, they had no one to fix it. At 5:09 am, the alarm clock went off. We unplugged it. Checking out, we asked for some kind of accomodation to compensate us for this miserable experience. They offered 2000 Choice hotels points- a joke, but they weren't kidding. Management wouldn't own up to their mistakes.
