The staff here are amazing. From the General Manager Evelyn to all the staff including Brandon, Amy and the tall dude with salt n pepper hair who is a friendly gentle giant. Everyone here at this hotel is welcoming and genuinely care about making sure you have a good stay. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and they have a little store in the hotel that is very well equipped. They have ice cream in it and if you tell them to not let you have more than one ice cream…they remind you but let you get your fill! If I wanted to be very critical of judging this hotel I could say the couches and tvs in the room could be updated but everything is maintained very well and everything is clean! The breakfast does need some work… I’ve stayed at the holiday inn hotel next door and while it is newer, this Hampton inn has more amenities, the staff is better, and it feels more like a home. I recommend this Hampton inn for visits in asheboro over every hotel and I’ve stayed at every one of them

So yeah highlights. The edges around the pool are painted and are super slippery. Also they are peeling like a bad sunburn and pieces of paint are floating around the pool. No towels at the pool. Got to watch a chick smoke Crack right outside our bedroom window. The eye contact was awkward. I wish I was joking. Kid tried to shake us down for money next door at the Chick-fil-A. I guess the last part is more to do with the neighborhood. Considering the neighborhood it would have been nice if they locked some of the exterior doors at night but i guess they dont do that. Breakfast was good and the staff was super nice tho. Thats the reason for 2 stars and not 1. Really got catfished by this one. We expected it to be way nicer since it was more expensive than the nearby hotels.

Basic stay, took a while to check in as we has to wait for someone to come to the desk. Hotel shared areas like the elevator and lobby was a little dirty. Breakfast had a limited selection and quality was somewhat poor. But room was clean and comfortable.
