Second time staying here. Great friendly staff. Clean rooms. Pool area is well kept up. Was booked to no vacancy and was still quiet. Will definitely be back. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, white and chocolate milk, 4 different juice choices, pancakes and some breads and pastries.

I went specifically because they had a hot tub. I was very disappointed to find out it was broken. No one let me know beforehand, nor was there a sign posted the it wasn’t working. I had to contact the front desk after going there and trying to get it to work for 30 mins. This was disappointing. Plus they also lost paperwork that I signed when I first got there and had me sign the same paperwork twice because they lost the original. Also my tv remote was broken too.

Very friendly and helpful staff Very clean facility Had a bit of a computer issue at check in, which was quickly resolved by management. Whirlpool was broken which staff apologized for. Shower door would not stay shut and there was no Shelf/tray to place shower supplies on. Had to place everything on the floor. Looking forward to a delicious full breakfast

When we checked in we were given a room that had not been cleaned. Got keys to another room and there were no towels. I wiped up some water on the.bathroom floor I had spilt and the towel I used turned black. Flour had not been mopped in who knows how long. Carpets in hall ways were dirty. Outside side walks need washed down. Worst laquinta I have ever stayed in and I’ve traveled a lot.

Not sure if sheets were clean since the room still had cheerios on the floor and used silverware from previous guests. No one was available at the front desk when we needed more towels. Pool was cold and small. The hotel is in good neighborhood so that was nice but no if we ever go back to Saint Louis we will surely look for somewhere else to stay at.

Our room was very clean, beds comfortable. Staff was helpful. Breakfast had hot eggs and sausage, that was nice. We didn't get to try the hot tub because it was busy. The pillows were small but comfy. We had booked a 3 night stay and only ended needing 1 night. The staff was able to cancel the 2 nights we didn't need at no charge. I appreciated that! Thank you.

We had a non-stop barking dog the first night. The next day while getting ready a roach was found in an open clothing bag and had scurried out under the bed once uncovered. Trash was overflowing in the hallways, which made an awful smell. We were moved rooms after the dog barking and both rooms had no wash clothes. Desk staff was nice about the incident and said they’ve never had a bug complaint. They do now.

Bed bugs! I woke up with lots of bed bug bites on me the next morning. The pool was nice, but no towels both times we went down to the pool, when we asked the front desk they said they bring some, we waiting for another 15-20 mins and ended up giving up, and tracking water all the way to our room. The breakfast was really good!

Nice, comfortable, updated room. Everything was nice and there was a good breakfast bar. My only complaint was that the tv remote was not the original for the tv and it didn’t have the necessary functions to be able to navigate the channel options… not a huge deal since it was only a one night stay.

This is a great property and will definitely stay again, when in this area. Room was clean and super spacious. The last 2 hours (10 pm - midnight) of pool time is for adults only. The breakfast included was great! The employee responsible for breakfast was so friendly and on top of everything so it was always fresh. All of the staff was friendly!

Bring your own pillows. There were 4 pillows and they were sized comparable to decorative throw pillows for your couch. We had to go to Walmart next door to buy some pillows. The wall has paint bubbling all the way down on one side. The remote for the tv wasn’t programmed right so we went and bought a Roku but the wifi could barely keep our phones happy and had to take it off. These issues were brought up to the front desk. Apparently the owner is very minimumal from what we were told, but for spending $620 for 3 nights, the owner’s guests shouldn’t be treated minimumal.

There was a large gap at the bottom of the room doors. It appears that the threshold was missing. This allowed for more hallway noise and I felt that we had less privacy. The shower floor was quite slippery and there was no shower mat. We did use a hand towel which helped some.

Upon arrival the room keys didn’t work to open outside doors. We then got to our room and one key wouldn’t work. The other key opened the door to find the room was already occupied. We went to front desk. We stood there for several minutes while 3 staff tried to figure out where to place us. They gave us another room. We went there to find it was a 1 bed and we booked a 2 bed. We went back to the front desk and they put us in another room. We got to that room to find it was a 1 bedroom also. We went back to the front de DC k, they had us standing there for a very lengthy amount of town. During this time the manager was not apologetic, he said there would zero compe nation for anything that was done. We got our money put back on our card and left! The manager told us that there was plenty of places for us to sat etc. he was rude and very unprofessional. He did no type compensation for any of our problems I highly do not recommend not staying here??

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. During check-in, I was informed that I could not proceed because I was unable to make an unexpected security deposit. There was no mention of this requirement when I booked the room, so it was quite surprising. The receptionist at the front desk was extremely rude and embarrassed me in front of other guests. It took a long time to get a refund for the room, and I was additionally charged for a night that was not supposed to be charged. When I called the hotel to address the wrongful charge, I had the misfortune of speaking with the same rude receptionist. She was unhelpful and even threatened to hang up on me rather than resolving the issue. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I hope the hotel can address these issues to prevent similar situations in the future.

Check in was horrible. Arrived at 2:57 and was told I could not begin to check in til 3. Took them 46 minutes to find my reservation even after showing my confirmation number and receipt. The manager insisted on going back and forth with me about the reservation instead of resolving it on the back end with Expedia. It was humiliating.

I had a reservation for 2 rooms. However… when we arrived we were told our reservation had been canceled. I had confirmation numbers for both rooms, and received no communication about a cancellation. The manager wouldn’t speak to me, but rather made the front desk clerk do her “dirty work.” I was told our reservation had been canceled this morning due to my payment method declining authorization, yet no transaction had ever been attempted. My son’s family experienced the same exact situation today with them. Canceled room, no communication, same explanation about the payment method. We thought we would just go ahead and get a room since we were there and had traveled from the east coast, but (believe it or not) there were no rooms available. They had overbooked. I will never attempt to stay here again, and I will be contacting LaQuinta corporate to explain my experience.

stay for 5 day I asked for room cleaning all the did is fix the bed but never change bed sheets didn’t clean the room at all. when they came to do house keeping one item got missing I reported immediately and the manager wasn’t helpful in fact she was more worried not coming into my room and do the cleaning unless I was at the room. But never got an answer for what happened to my item they never clean the room in 5 days unbelievable. I had 3 kids with me imagine how messy the room was.

A pretty nice hotel, close to where I wanted to go while in St. Louis. The downside is it is somewhat noisy as it is between the highway, a major road, and basically what I think it a local expressway (which is actually where the majority of the traffic noise comes from). Also a little tricky to figure out where to turn, especially at night. Despite the street address, you actually enter it off Charles Lindburgh, making sure you don't actually turn into a wrong way exit ramp from the aforementioned expressway. Walking distance to a Denny's and a Five Guys without crossing a major road, other places close if you are willing to drive a few blocks.

I chose this hotel for the price plus the included pool, hot tub, and breakfast. I've been to a couple of La Quinta's in the past. This one does not feel on par to their normal quality. When we first arrived, our room key did not work, so she added it to the list of doors with dead batteries. That was my first clue. Our room had a faint dead mouse smell in the wall near the door. I assume there was a decomposing mouse in the wall. The hot tub jets were not working during our stay, which is a big disappointment when that's part of the reason we chose the hotel. Breakfast included scrambled eggs which were fine, sausage that looked wrinkled and dry and was lukewarm, so we didn't eat it. Otherwise had bread, mini muffins, oatmeal, cereal and waffles. We didn't bother to eat there again after the first day, so that was a lost value as well. The refrigerator had no freezer area, so you can't store an ice pack for a cooler. The ice machine was missing from our floor. There was plumbing for one, but we had to go to the other floors to get ice. We had a do not disturb sign on our door until 9:30 AM, which may be why we didn't receive fresh towels or toiletries during our stay. Beds were comfortable enough. Channel listing included Disney Jr., but it was scrambled. Location off the interstate is convenient. Had a special place to initial to release hotel from liability of theft or damage, and considering the city and neighborhood, I guess I'm thankful we didn't experience that.

We had a good stay. Comfortable room, bed, pillows. Nice deco. Good supply of towels for 4 of us. Good lighting, appropriate number of lamps. Quiet, clean, well supplied bathroom. Pool was fun, staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for easy on/off highway. Good breakfast. 11:00 am checkout time is appropriated. Overall a very nice stay.

Went down for breakfast Saturday to find that the hotel was out of milk. This was not last minute as the breakfast was being taken down, but over an hour before. How does a hotel not have such an essential on the weekend? No signs indicating that there was no milk either! We get our cereal bowls full and look for milk to add . . . . No fruit on the breakfast bar either. Definitely not the breakfast advertised.
