Parking was plentiful, the lobby was attractive and the indoor pool looked nice although we did not use it. Continental breakfast was blah - orange juice came out brown and muddy (and yes, we pushed the correct button - both of them!), coffee was weak, breakfast pastries were those mini ones and were dry, standard waffle making machine, bagels, the two bananas we took were brown when peeled (didn't look too good to begin with), white bread for toast. Breakfast was advertised for 6 a.m. but still locked at 6:30 a.m. when we came down. Water in our room was nice and hot although did not shower so don't know about pressure. The carpet felt moist when we walked on it, as though high humidity. Our clothes felt clammy when we put them on the next morning. The room smelled a bit musty but not bad so just don't know why the carpet/clothes issue. Bed pillows were hard square lumps and a thin blanket with a top sheet was presumably the duvet - we were freezing. The mattress was comfortable. The fellow who checked us in was also the morning person so perhaps he's the manager or owner. At any rate, he was not very friendly and in fact he seemed irritate to be taken away from whatever else to take the time to check us in and unlock the breakfast. There is a nice grocery store and spirits store in the same parking lot. Many options for food nearby although we highly recommend the Homestyle Country Cafe downtown. The menu is extensive and the food was excellent.

The room was conveniently located. The room was clean, but had a musty odor. The bed felt like it had been around too long. The manager was very nice.
