Drury is our most favorite chain to stay in when we travel, which is quite often, and this was by far the worst Drury we’ve ever been in. The rooms were not the biggest, which is fine because the bed area was functional, but the bathrooms were horrendous. Wasted space over by a toilet that’s not even set against a flat wall. It’s like a weird octagonal shape and then there’s all this space next to the toilet. That’s not utilized, but you can barely open the door if someone’s at the sink because the sink area is so small right next to the door. Not sure why they don’t have sliding door doors if they’re gonna make such a small space in the bathroom or why there’s an abundance of room over by the toilet for no reason it was very inconvenient to have any more than one or two people in the room. Aside from that, you have one elevator. And the staff maintaining breakfast was awful and I’ve never had as bad as a breakfast as I did at this one. Nothing was ever stocked. The lady was rude when we tried to tell her numerous times the milk was out and she didn’t care. She made us feel stupid. My son can’t have sweet things so he relies on milk and and we couldn’t get any, because the water was out too, we had to go out to breakfast. The pool area was awful due to another family, who was very nasty to us and anyone else for that matter that was trying to enjoy themselves. Overall, the rooms are clean and if you’re not spending any time at the hotel and eating out you’re fine.
