Do not stay here. I stayed for one night and my car was vandalized. My car was parked in there parking lot under the brightest light. I went to leave the next morning and someone had stolen my wheels tires and lug nuts and left my car on blocks in the parking lot. There management is horrible and clearly doesn’t care about your safety or there guest and parking lot. Now I’m trying to get my car back on the road. It is so expensive so far I’m told $5,000 plus. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had and been treated like I’m nothing by any hotel. I hope people see this and stay away from this place!

The pool was closed both days we were there. My son really wanted to enjoy the pool but couldn’t because they had maintenance issues. That was my only and major issue. Wish they had mentioned that the pool was under construction in notes of booking policy.

Let me begin with saying the hotel staff and room were great. The staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful. When we arrived at the property we had concern about a vehicle in the front lot that was on blocks and had no wheels. When we were heading to breakfast in the morning we found a spent gun shell on the ground in the elevator. The police were called and collected it, but also confirmed to us that the wheels were stolen the day before off the vehicle. I post this info so you are aware to watch your surroundings if you stay here.

Very Nice, Clean, Great Smelling and Welcoming Stay. Only issue was the elevatoir went down on my 2nd night of stay so I had to walk up 6 flights of stairs to my room after working a 24 hour shift. I was advised by the front desk staff that it had been down All Day and they did not know if it would even be back on line that day either & for such an establishment, I feel an Emergency Elevator crew should have rectified that situation much earrlier because anyone much older than 57 may not have made it up all those stairs. Also, it would be an Extra Plus if they would have a small microwave in each room for tbe added Convenience !!! Overall 9 out of 10!!

No frills room and hotel. Not the most walkable location (only fast food joints are nearby). The gym was narrow and outdated and the Peloton couldn’t connect to the network, but at least there were free weights. Breakfast was not bad - eggs and potatoes were chilled still though. Would I stay again? No. But it wasn’t the worst at least!

The room was nice enough. The drawers of the dresser were broken and stayed open due to the slant of the room. The beds were comfortable. The room was xlean except for the vanity mirror light that seemed to have a number of dead bugs in it. The elevators were weirdly slow. So slow that we decided to walk up 7 flights of stairs rather than wait in line .

Checkin was fine, room was pretty clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of space. But, they advertise having a bar, its NOT a bar. Same for the restaurant, no such thing, they could make me fries and wings, or I could purchase pre-made sandwiches from the counter display case. Free breakfast was not good.

Where shall I begin? Reserving and paying ahead of time was the worse thing I could have done. I’d stayed here before but it’s gone down since then and that was about two years ago. You can tell that no one there takes pride in their work. The front desk staff person who checked us in was a bit unkempt, although she was friendly enough. We got to the room and was disappointed with the big, black spot on the sofa- not something anyone would want to sit on. There were also stains in other areas. Everything just looked, smelled, and felt old, but the room was neat. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and we were unable check out and find something else. We asked for another room and that one was not that much better. There was just not a big, black spot in the sofa. When we checked out, we forgot owe left a pillow we brought from home and called about it. The first six times, no one answered the phone. We were then put on hold for ten minutes before anyone came back with bad news. The gentleman never asked for a good contact number to call in case the pillow turned up - we asked HIM if we could leave our contact information. Of course no one ever called and it was obvious that we never will. I will never stay at this hotel again; I’d sleep in my car before reserving a room there again. I do not recommend this hotel if you are accustomed to good quality customer service and cleanliness. No wonder this was a “special!” Worst two days ever!

The lobby and common areas were clean and welcoming. The elevators were secure safety wise, but that didn’t matter as much since the person who checked me in announced my room number when giving me the key. This is a huge safety issue that I've not seen practiced in well over a decade and I travel quite often. Very, very poor practice! The room was in need of an update and repair. The mirror was broken, half the lights in the room did not turn on. The room smelled like someone left a juice spill in the carpet for weeks. The towels were extremely thing, scratchy, and small. The headboard and toilet were absolutely filthy, both of which we could not even see fully until the next morning because we arrived at night and the room was dark because half the lights wouldn’t work. The room needed attention to detail and to be properly cleaned.

I did not arrive for check-in until 12:30 AM. Employee at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. I went up to the room and when I opened the door, I noticed an undesirable odor, but it was late and I didn’t want to go through changing the room because I was very tired. I woke up in the morning and after I got dressed, I came back to the bedside stand and saw that there were ants in the bed, and that was very unsettling and disgusting to see house keeping came to the room quickly when asked, and as soon as they walked in the room, they said it was done the day before, and obviously not completely dried and was not a pleasant smell. I believe the supervisor of housekeeping, then came and also was very apologetic checking the room thoroughly and told us we should go to the front desk which we were going to do anyway

The room was very unclean. Bathroom shower had hair on the wall and shower curtain. Bathroom floor wasn’t swept, carpet had multiple sticky spots, mirrors were unclean with a large white smere and the entire room was dusty.

I stay here often because it gives a very homie vibe but recently my last stay wasn’t so pleasant. The hotel needs a major upgrade. There is no smart tvs and if you want to watch a movie it’s $24.99 which is ridiculous. The elevators are always broke. You have to get to breakfast as soon as they open at 7 or there will be no food left. There is always a musty funky smell in hallways. The carpet needs to be pulled up and reapplied. The staff is polite I will give them that. They take FOREVER to give you your deposit back also.

The stay was ok. One of the buttons on the night lamp was broken and in order to turn off lamp I had to disconnect. With something like this the room should be taken out of service or staff should of resolved another way without having the guest having to unplug things.

Front desk had a great employee when we checked in; wish I knew her name. She showed us around the area as if it were her own home. Made us feel so welcome. overall the property needs a remodel. Most outlets in our room were not working, there weren’t enough/any charging stations, awkward layout & terribly stained carpet. Good bed, nice shower with immediate hot water & very quiet were positives. Hotel location was pretty convenient .

I was greeted warmly at the front desk and was checked in quickly. The one issue I had was that the register by the window didn't work and neither did the thermostat in the room. I was able to open the window for cooler air. Otherwise the room was spacious and comfortable.

They lie, they have microwaves ro provide to rooms and the guy on staff that night said they did not, then he said he is new then he said he dont know where they are located then he said after new staff arrived he said now someone else is here i can go get your microwave. Which one is it.. and this dude had dreads, so there you have it.. that guy.. Then they ran out of towels and the cleaning person doesnt come in until 9am to wash andndry new towels so we could not shower and get dressed to leave without towels. The guy with dreads covering night staff did not stay at front desk he sat in a booth acros from the counter making you think he was a guest and did not work there until you had a question or was looking for a staff member.

Darien the front desk manager is absolutely amazing! He made my family and I feel like apart of his. My mother even called him her bonus son. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Every December my family and I, stay at a local hotel in Owings Mills; going forward this location will be our only choice. I love the customer service of all the staff, everyone we encountered went above and beyond. I also enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the size.

Unfortunately, my stay at the Hyatt Place was not the best this time around. I am a regular at this location. I have been using this location for the past decade to see my family that is located in the surrounding area. When I arrived, it took nearly 30-minutes to check in. I will add that I was in a rush and maybe more impatient than usual. I do want to add that the person who checked me was very patient. Appears to have been more of a staffing issue. Upon checking in and entering the room, the charging port did not work. I had to use my laptop’s power to charge my phone overnight. Lastly, the down button on the elevator did not work on the 4th floor. Making me have to lug my bag and suitcase down four flights of stairs. I usually have a pleasant stay at this location, as I’m sure I’ve noted in previous reviews. But this time around was not the best. I hope next time is much better. It may be a good idea to increase room and floor technical checks. I have video proof of the non-working elevator but you cannot leave video reviews, only photos.

Only stayed short night however there were issues with Expedia booking giving rates that were not the Hyatt rates. I booked a king suite when I arrived they only had double standard with a 100.00 deposit for incidentals. Expedia waited 50 for incidentals. However the manager was so accommodating and understanding and at best knowledgeable of procedures He fixed the issue with No attitude or bias . For that I would recommend this property. Also rooms were nice , clean, quiet comfortable.

I had an unpleasant experience with a front desk staff. Ms. Bullock. I forgot my sweater when we checked out then came back to get it. For unknown reasons, she got upset and asked me to go get it upstairs that the cleaner was on the floor. I rushed to the floor and there was no staff on the 6th floor. When I came downstairs, she was on the phone and ignored me. When I informed her that I was getting late for my flight, she became upset, requested my ID, snatched it from me fumbled with the computer to further jeopardize my flight time. She then assigned a staff to go with me to go get the sweater. He delays made me to miss my flight. She was very unprofessional.

What I liked most about my stay was the location. It was very close to the nice neighborhoods in Owings Mills and nearby areas, which made it very convenient. Clean comfortable stay - housekeeping and desk staff were very friendly- only complaint was that we went to get breakfast and the person in charge of breakfast announced that there was no hot breakfast left due to the other inconsiderate guests which I found to be very rude and obviously offensive to other guests in the lobby area

Room was clean, check in was easy. Their Direct TV service not so great. Many stations pixelated and couldn’t even get ESPN. They seem understaffed for the breakfast that they advertise for free. They ran out of much of the food (waffles, eggs) and coffee and the wait to get it replenished was very long. The staff was friendly but it just seemed they were understaffed

The hotel was good, but the breakfast not so good. There were no knives to spread butter or cut your breakfast, no jam or marmalade, no sweet treats, and you had to wait for coffee. When asking for a knife, I didn't get a great response from the lady.

The room was great. The staff was very friendly. The prices of snacks were very high. The breakfast was good, but tiny and with a lot of people staying there, it was quite chaotic. We will be staying there again, but definitely bringing our own snacks.
