We have been staying here for four months and so far most of the time it’s been very nice. There were two girls that were dayshift to evening shift in the office that were awesome and very helpful they have since quit and the gentleman that has taken over isn’t quite as friendly nor is he helpful The hospitality business is obviously not his forte. The housekeepers and the maintenance gentleman are awesome. They do wonderful job. Still concerned that after four months, the sign that says elevator is out we’re working on it is still up

Not enough staff and not professional look and services ( could not print out receipt). The laundry machines was in poor condition, dirty public area. Linen and bedsheet are clean.

There was a ton of car traffic in and out with no one ever going inside. There were several aggressive dog staying there. I had my show dogs with me and they were almost attacked by a dog that was standing by the front door. I had requested a ground floor room due to a knee replacement but they did not hold one for me and the elevator was not working. Very strong smell of weed everywhere. Room was clean, the bed was terrible, and the shades did not keep out much light.

We always use Red Roof on long travel because we have a dog and their free dog policy is great. However, this had to be the worse Red Roof I have ever stayed at. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee, noisy, dirty and while 3 stories high, out of order elevator. Ugh - stay away, there are other Red Roofs north and south of this on I95.

Ample parking and friendly staff. We had arrived at about 5pm to check in and the room had not been turned over yet. Let it go because I figured they may have been short staffed, and I was checking in before heading to a concert. The room, however, was ok at best. When arriving back to our room after the concert, we found that the top sheet covers for the quilts had minor stains. The bathroom fan was attached to the light and was very loud when turned on. Had to keep the sink light on and bathroom door open at night in order to see and also not disturb my party while they were asleep. The biggest issue for me was the very unpleasant odor that hit you upon entering the room. It smelled like cat urine mixed with something else. It was a cheap place to stay for our needs, i.e. sleep and go, but would not recommend for long term stays.

This property comes complete with roaches, mold and attitudes from desk persons. Amount of drugs and addicts on property is ridiculous, prostitution is at a all time high in this location, cant smoke outside your room without someone trying to buy you for services.

One of the best Red Roof Inns there is in terms of cleanliness. Front desk is friendly and efficient, room was clean and well maintained. Linens and towels were clean, the housekeeping staff do a great job here. Overall a pleasant stay.

The outside of the building smelled awful and was run down. The inside was worse with stained sheets, walls, floors, dirty bathroom, and more. There were people clearly on drugs in numerous places surrounding the building as well.

Its not a family place for sure. There were drug dealers and prostitutes doing their business out of the rooms. The rooms and especially the mattresses are all trash. I felt springs in a cheap mattress on a thin/cheap frame. The add for the room alone should cause a criminal investigation. False advertisement at its finest. Then had the NERVE to charge over 100 dollars STAY AWAY!!!

The dresser was literally broken. The towels looked clean, but had a lot of the white cotton fluff that came out of them. Bullet proof glass at the reception office; not a good sign. You can hear everything through the main entrance door to the room. You can hear the sounds of racing car engines.

This was the worst hotel selection mistake I have ever made! At check-in, the desk clerk was missing. I called out just in case the person was in the back, I called the hotel phone (no answer) and I ended up standing there for 15 minutes. It took the maids to come by the Front Desk and go in the back to find the desk clerk before I could check-in. The room I was assigned was clean, but the clothing rack was falling down, the TV remote was missing, and the telephone did not work. I went back to Front Desk and asked to be moved to another room; the clerk refused to move me, but he gave me a remote control. I went back to the room and the remote did not work. I went back to the Front Desk and the desk clerk gave me a second remote which did not work with the TV either. During my trips back and forth to the Front Desk, I started to notice a few unsavory characters going into rooms and decided I better just leave this place. Even though I was only there for less than an hour and my room was deficient, the clerk said he could not refund my money. I did not even fuss because my safety and well-being were worth so much more than the money I lost on the hotel room. Please do not make the same mistake I made -- DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!

Great place for an overnight. Didn't have any trouble with staff or patrons. Slept soundly. Not the best mattresses and their white sheets were not so white. But it's a motel and I slept swell.

I had to wait 30 mins to check in, outside, hot summer sun. The clerk was “counting the cash” and therefore had to lock all the doors and not let anyone in. Other than a mumbled unapologetic one sentence explanation, we were told nothing until a supervisor showed up. The supervisor and daughter were efficient, and kind, but I missed my student’s wedding because of the delay, a wedding I had flown from North Carolina to see. Never ever staying here again. On top the service, the bullet proof glass, the break-in proof door, the posters with dangerous people who come to the hotel… it was not pleasant check-in. Room was basic but fine and clean, just smelled like stale cigarettes.

Security door lock snapped and not working. Around 11:30 PM 4 women gathered outside my door, talking loudly and smoking. F them I’ll kill them let me near them I’ll stab them when I pulled the curtain back. One of the girls yelled at me that I was ugly, I closed the curtain after another hour of vulgar talk. I called the front desk and the young lady there broke up. Thank you to her.

The room was very clean and smelled nice, the people staying there looked sketchy. I think they lived there, and I think one of the rooms someone was selling drugs. Idk but I wouldn’t stay again. When we were unpacking and everytime we got in and out the car ppl were just standing on the balcony staring. No one bothered us but it definitely felt unsafe.

Do not stay here. It took 30 minutes to find my reservation, this was after waiting in line while 1 person checked a line of people in through a locked door. There were clearly people with questionable intentions living there long term, making it feel very unsafe. The room was gross and there were people outside arguing all night. I was there for just a quick overnight after enjoying concert near by. Never again. I would have been better off driving home late.

2nd stay at this Red Roof Inn in Jessup, MD. Very clean, has a friendly staff, convenient location off the freeway for our trip between New England and the South. We will definitely choose this hotel next time we travel. Very impressive for the cost!!!

The photos of this property are misleading. It is not in a safe area. The person who checked us in was kind. The room was ok. However the outside area, stairwells, balconies, shared spaces were unclean and the property did not feel safe. There were people lingering outside, trash and dirt as well as what appeared to be dried vomit on walkways.

Great stay! The staff person at the desk was very eager to help us check in. We had a nice conversation and she was able to tell us the closest location of a restaurant we were interested in going to. The room was clean and tidy! The bedding and towels were fresh. The heat and air worked perfectly. Honestly, it could not have been better!
