This is a very basic hotel. Which is exactly what I was looking for. No frills that I have to pay extra for and don’t need. We spent very little time in our room so I just needed a clean room with two comfortable beds. Exactly what I got. It was about 20 min. Drive to Salem, which is why we were there. Staff was friendly. Check in was easy. They had vending machines for a small snack or drinks. I would stay again. Even though it was not cheap it was one of the cheapest places I found in the area with still feeling safe.

It is ordinary hotel with 2 stars that has no breakfast and coffee only available for certain period of time at morning that we were missing on our stays. Dining at Chinese restaurant next door not bad benefits and only negative is location next to highway that create some annoying noice

The experience was horrible. More bedbugs bites than you can count. Went to the doctor and got treated for bedbug bites. The worst experience ever. I should have read the reviews before I booked this place, most reviews complained about bedbugs… I wasted every penny I spent for staying there… horrible experience!!

My bed skirt had semen . The room smelled of vomit. Air conditioner kept shutting off. Toilet paper holder broken. Shower curtain rod broken. Security lock on my room had the screws coming out of it. So hotel room door didn't lock. I asked too be switched to a different room.

The room was very stinky. Had a horrible odor. And the day I was getting ready to leave the hotel I found a bedbug on the sheets. I saw a few bites on my body before that but i tough it was a mosquito until I saw the bedbug. I took a video and showed it to reception when I was checking out.

We got this hotel because it was a central area to what we wanted to do. The bed was one of the worst I've ever slept in. Inner springs from the 80's that creaked and groaned with every move. The pillows were flat. The bathroom was tiny, the sink was outside of the toilet and shower. The area wasn't horrible, but it was a super busy road so it was hard to get out and back to the hotel. They charge 3 dollars a day to use the safe, but ours didn't work at all. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

The hotel clerk who checked us in was marvelous... Unfortunately I did not pay attention to her name. Honest and sincere I must say. Our room was fine. No frills but it was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately it was a very noisy night... doors opening and shutting in the hallway all night long. That in itself made me very uncomfortable and a bit nervous. I didn't know what was going on... Still don't... No I suppose being that close to Logan it could have just been people coming and going. Not pleasant though...not much sleep.

rooms are advertised as soundproof, however they are SOOOO loud. Road noise at all hours of the night. the gaps under the room door allow hallway noise in. the tvs of the neighboring rooms can be heard thru the night. above us, we constantly heard them walking around at all hours of the night. was very unrestful. not worth what was paid

The check in was fine. The room was clean. The sink is outside the bathroom, when you need to use it while others are sleeping, its.not convinient. Beds are not comfortable, you can feel and hear the springs. The beds are not queen, there full. Its a little noisy. You could hear the people on the other rooms.

I am not one to complain or put bad reviews in the first place, but my experience here has been awful. At first walking in, i was hopeful as I was with my family and two dogs. I waited a while until I heard the front desk receptionist speaking on a personal call in the back room. I waited a little longer until I asked for help. She was, what I believe to be, upset due to me interrupting her. I was treated terribly by her since. Her name was Helen and she was very aggressive and throughout the whole interaction, she used a demeaning tone. This started us off on a roughy start. No one collected our trash or provided us with new tissue papers for our three day stay. We had to constantly go to the front desk to ask for items. Thankfully the night shift front desk receptionist was super accommodating and respectful. Bath tub and room seems a little unsanitary. Would not come back or recommend to anyone.

It was difficult to check in even with a pre-paid reservation. They kept a copy of my driver's license. When I asked what happened to that once I checked out, I was told I didn't have to stay there. I'm not sure why they need a copy of my license with all my proprietary information for their files. Also not sure why there was immediate attitude for my asking a simple question, I've never had to do that before at a hotel and I travel extensively.

Checking in was perfect and very friendly, after two nights shift work in hospital, I asked a late checkout and willing to pay late check out fee $40, just asked for one more hour stay to get enough sleep for next night shift work, the front desk lady told me exactly no exception for only one more hour stay even I already agree to pay extra $40. The way she talked to me like a cold rude robot, definitely she is not the person who fit for hotel service.

The property is 20 mins by car from Boston CBD. There is McDonald and other fast food nearby (5 mins by car). The price is quite reasonable taking into consideration the standard rate in Boston and environment. The big negative? The nearby Broadway is EXTREMELY busy even during the night. Make sure to ask for a room as far away from it. I failed to sleep even after 15 hours on the road.

Quick checkin. Location is right on Rt 1, so while entering the location is easy, exiting the property can be difficult due to heavy traffic on Rt. 1. I would stay here again.

Getting in and out of the parking lot was very stressful. You basically exit from/enter onto a highway. Not the hotel's fault but the location isn't ideal because of that. The restaurant next door is very good though. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. A very solid hotel given the pricepoint. Saugus is about hallway between Boston and Salem so this is a good place to stay if you're planning on visiting both of those cities.

The room was decent, clean bathroom and clean, comfortable bed. Air conditioner was noisy. Coffee maker worked but could be better. Nice little table and lots of lamps. I thought the floor was a bit sticky. May have been the cleaning product they use bc everything else was very clean. Overall, a great place to stay. Lots of places to eat nearby.

The beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. We woke up sore the next day. Our shower had a cracked shower head so it Was leaking all over the bathroom floor. This hotel is on a very busy road making it difficult to get out of. There is also a restaurant/bar next-door which had an event going on with DJ and Live bands. Not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind as the event was loud. All and all it was not the worst, but for the price you pay it would be nice to have complimentary breakfast.

My father and I stayed here while we were I. Boston for doctors appointments. The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. We don’t explore to much as we were on time restrictions with doctors appointments but the hotel seemed to be right in the heart of a lot of food and shopping options. We would def. Consider this hotel again if we are back in town.
