Property was undergoing renovations so there was some inconvenience. Did have two room issues but Leo, the maintenance guy took care of them immediately. The breakfast choices were excellent and well maitained. The area is unwalkable with a major road and no sidewalks.

The service excellent from all the employees. Some exits were closed due to renovations, so we need to walk almost a block to take the elevator in second floor. The entrance sliding door didn't work correctly.

We stayed here Fourth of July weekend on a spur of the moment trip. It was myself, husband, baby, and dog. From the moment we entered, staff was immediately kind and handed us treats for our dog. Our room was well sized, stocked and extremely clean. It was about an hour drive from cape cod, which wasn’t bad at all! The pool was nice and clean as well. The location is close to many food places. Can’t forget to mention the free breakfast was delicious!! I’d definitely stay here again :)

Clean room, comfortable bed. Coffee was always available and it was actually good! Most hotels I’ve stayed at, the coffee wasn’t so great. Breakfast was very nice and they changed things up a little so we didn’t have to eat the exact same thing every day. Very helpful and pleasant staff. I would choose to stay here again.

The hotel room itself was fine, actually quite nice. The hotel cable system was terrible. We were never able to locate any of the channels given on either of the two channel guides we were given. Frustrating. The lobby and common areas were being renovated, but did not affect our stay.

Stayed for a week, we usually stay closer to the cape, but... Anyway, the pros :very friendly staff, clean & quiet room, pool, and breakfast. The cons: very uncomfortable bed, it really kind of ruined the whole visit for me, breakfast was kind of so-so, but my grand daughter liked it. The room layout was good and my wife liked having the desk and wardrobe where it was. We brought an inflatable mattress for our grand daughter, she had the most comfortable bed in the room! There is a small work out area if you need it.

We were put in room 214......beneath the window was a transformer that HUMMED ALL NIGHT making it super difficult to sleep. Wanted to let desk clerk aware, however with only one person working the desk was unable to because she was busy dealing with a young man for quite a while & we were on a time constraint, so we left without being to make the hotel aware of the inconvenience.

The only drawbacks were room lighting is dim. And closet space is quite minimal. We stayed just overnight and couldnt hang a suit, dress shirt and two light weight leather jackets.

Hampton Inn has very nice. Staff was very helpful and professional rooms were comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was provided with really good coffee. We would stay here again if we come back to New England

We were next to the "machine room" and it made noise all night long. In room AC was loud. Got about 4 hours sleep. Complained the next morning and was told "Sorry".

They are doing updates, but we had a room that was noisy with an old bathroom fan and AC that kept the room at 78 degrees. The separate room suite was dark and dingy. The only window overlooked the parking lot so you had people looking in if you raised the shade.

When we checked in, we were informed that none of the TVs were working in the hotel. India, the manager, handled everything with professionalism. She gave us the option of going elsewhere, but she was so nice, we decided to stay. She is an asset!!

The only reason I am giving 4 stars for staff and services is because I made the reservation online through Expedia and when I tried to call the hotel just to confirm everything I could not get through to anybody at the phone rang 12 separate times that I called until it just hung up on me so I will call it would ring about 30 to 40 times and it would just hang up I could not get in touch with any person at all finally I got in touch with someone to let them know that we were running late and they weren’t someone that was actually at the hotel I’m not sure who it was to be honest but they were trying to contact the hotel and I was on hold with them for 30 minutes while they were trying to contact the hotel and nothing happened so it was extremely frustrating to not be able to speak to somebody.

People working the front desk were not knowledgeable or accommodating.We had no Chanel guide and requested one not even close.We are in a renovated room we have a fan in the bath room that doesn’t have a switch to turn it on. They put us next to the room with the hot water heaters and they banged all nite,when we asked for a new room we were told we had to check out take all our luggage with us and check back in at 3. THE NASTIEST PEOPLE. I was exhausted we are here for the funeral of my parents and had a lot to do and just need a nite sleep.

Tariq was such a kind and gentle resource. I came there, last minute, with 4 teenage girls and Tariq came through for me on each and every request (like the rolling bed). I’ve visited five different international countries in the last eight weeks and of the twelve or so hotels I checked into, none of them had a host like Tariq. He is a kind and gentle soul a great asset to the organization. Give him a raise (woo-hoo Tariq, I hope you get paid)!

The staff was friendly. Housekeeping neglected to clean/refresh my room while I was out, which was unfortunate. Nick, the front desk clerk at the time, was so helpful! I called the front desk to let them know about the error, but unfortunately, all housekeepers had already left for the day. Nick came and changed the bedding, as well as replaced all the towels, and emptied trash himself. He also brought complimentary water and snacks for the inconvenience. He truly went above & beyond in rectifying the situation, and made my stay a more enjoyable experience.

Property clean. Staff nice. No vending machines which meant NO DRINKS. Free breakfast not good. Skipped all three days and bought it somewhere else. Pool not heated which meant too cold to swim. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No good tv channels.

It’s just perfect for me. It’s close to my family when I visit from New York and it’s a good place to call it the night. The staff is friendly, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is excellent. Even better, our dog Tonio is welcome.

We had a great stay! Despite being under renovation the hotel was well maintained and the staff here were all incredibly lovely. The outdoor pool was really nice to have and midweek we basically had it to ourselves. The breakfast was okay but not the best we’ve had included at other locations. It was so convenient to what we were there to do so that was a huge plus. Will absolutely return next time we want to visit New Bedford area!

Disappointed that the guests has to request housekeeping every day of our stay. It is not automatic. Good days are gone. It is sad that the guests have to take of the trash and towels. The room needs to be vacuumed every day for cleanliness/health (COVID is still here). For the price the guests have to pay for hotel room, it is sad to see less than average service.The breakfast was dsappointing, tooo.
