Check in was very difficult, the room we were put in was terrible. It was humid and damp and smelled like mold. The room was also not very clean. And we got no sleep because a crew with motorcycles was allowed to stay in the parking lot all night playing loud music and revving the motorcycle engines. The stay was absolutely miserable.

When you opened the door, the room immediately smelled like mold. Originally I thought it was just stagnant air but after turning the AC on, the curtain by the AC device was covered in mold and so was the carpet. The second night there the floor was mysteriously wet. The staff was so kind and so helpful. The amenities were also great. Breakfast was as good as continental breakfast is! Very disappointed at the room being covered in visible mold.

My room was missing a wall mirror, hair dryer, lack of pillows and it was missing a couch. The phones in the rooms don’t work. I asked the front desk and they said they have been down for months. The elevator worked 2 times out of 10. The only ice machine that worked was the one in the first floor. There is a huge lack of restaurants to walk to. There are three next door but all were boarded up. You do have the option of door dash - so that was nice. If this were the last place available next year - I’ll sleep in my car. That was terrible. The only saving grace was the staff - from the room attendants to the front desk - so sweet. But the owner needs to be responsible and get things fixed and updated so the staff doesn’t have to spend the majority of their time apologizing.

The staff was excellent and very accommodating. They gave us extra pillows when asked, took care of a noisy neighbor late at night, and were very friendly. 5 stars to the staff. Hotel management should strive to be as good as their staff. The tv was likely from the early 2000’s, small, not a smart tv so no streaming apps, and the batteries were held into the remote with tape (no battery cover). When we tried to call the front desk, the phone didn’t work properly. Also, the smell of weed permeated the 3rd floor, and there is supposedly a no smoking policy. I don’t care who smokes or what they smoke, just not inside where I pay for a no smoking hotel. Breakfast was decent, and the elevators worked properly which were both good things.
