Worst Hotel I ever stayed in. Elevator didn’t work. The tub was dirty. The rim of the stool was dirty. I asked to change rooms, they said they were full. I spoke to a manager name Shante, she said, she would have the room cleaned on Tuesday. Keep in mind, I checked in on a Saturday night. The cleaning crew knock on the door at 11 AM Tuesday, I said I would be out of the room by 12pm, I had the understanding they leave at 3 PM. They didn’t clean the room that day, the manager told me it would be Thursday before they could clean the room so I asked to change rooms again. She said no rooms were available. I was out of the room on Thursday by 9:30 AM. I let the front desk know I was gone so they could clean the room, when returned that night, the room was still dirty. I went down to the front Desk. I spoke to a man name SALEEM. VERY RUDE NO RESPECT. He did nothing except yell at me. The people that work there, tell you one thing and do another. From day one, I tried to get the bathroom cleaned and they said they’ll take care of it, but never did. They knocked Friday morning, I have been there a whole week so I told them to forget it. I was leaving Sunday. I have a bad back and had to walk upstairs with luggage. I tried to change rooms, but they wouldn’t. They kept saying the elevator would be fixed the next day. This is the second time we have stayed here. This time was over 3 weeks while we searched for our new home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Manager Shante went out of her way to welcome us and make certain we had everything that we needed. The suites are roomy and we loved the fact that the sleeping area is a separate room. Nice pet area just across the parking lot with good lighting at night. A nice bbq area with tables on the side of the building. Kitchen area was very user friendly with ample storage, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and cooktop. Plenty of other amenities to make our stay even better. Gym, snack machine, 24/7 coffee and laundry facilities. Dryers took a while to dry but eventually got the job done. All in all we would book again if needed and definitely recommend to friends.

Staff was nice but the rooms were a little outdated and definitely had wear and tear from long term tenants. It was a nice place to stay while recovering from a surgery. The kitchen made it nice and easy. Very little within close walking distance but not too far up the road. The door to the parking lot was also broken and people would prop it up a lot. Everyone seemed nice but definitely not top of the line stay.

House keeping was spectacular. My room was so clean and organized I loved it. However, it took them a week to get to me and I stayed there for 13 days total. Also, trucks are all over the parking lot taking up 3-4 spaces each so that was unfair. Lastly, the laundry room has all broken equipment. Out of 5 washers and 8 dryers there’s like two of each that actually function. I had to take a hammer to one of the machines bc I refused to waste my day requesting a $3 refund from a third party. Probably won’t go back if I needed another long term stay. Kitchen doesn’t have any dishes or anything of worth anyway. You’ll spend more money trying to feel at home. Just get an Airbnb.

Before my stay I had looked at the pet fees $15 per day for one pet along with $50 cleaning fee. Max was two. I get to the hotel was not aware of a $200 flat rate fee. I was given a room with a beaten up bathroom door. That they just slapped some paint on. Luckily I brought toiletries because there was no shampoo or body wash in the bottles in the shower. The shower had a small rust or dirt ring near the front. The air conditioning unit in the room sounds like a construction sight at night. One of the doors to get into the hotel doesn’t even have a lock. So anybody can walk in. I did not feel safe. I asked for a manager multiple times at the front desk so I could possibly get another room or refund. I still haven’t heard back from anyone.

This stay was a disappointment. I was mostly disappointed because the staff member that helped me arrange the details of the reservation post-booking was extremely friendly and helpful. I did also find our room to be bedbug-free. There were a few problems, however: --The outer door near our room did not close all the way. A couple of times when I came in from outside I made sure it had closed...but every time I encountered it otherwise (either going out or coming in) it was open, anyone could have walked in. --The door to our room was jammed tight against the door frame. Opening it required a lot of pressure and made a fairly loud noise without a huge amount of care. --The door was also missing any chain or other supplemental locking mechanism. I could see where there USED to be some hardware, but it had been removed. On the outside, the door was dented and scratched at the same location...perhaps someone had forced their way in after hammering on the door with something heavy? This WAS an accessible room, I expect it was possible that someone handicapped had been accidentally locked in, and this was the sign of an attempt to free them. Other explanations would be less savory. --The night check-in clerk was not at the front desk at any time I checked, and there was no bell or other way to alert someone that I was there. Just had to sit and wait. --There was no continental breakfast of any kind.

Please don't be fooled by the suburban location. This hotel is a roach infested mess. I don't believe I've ever experience so many foul and musty smells. Also, the majority of the "long term stay" guests are homeless, and rough contract workers, who feel it's OK to party into the wee hours in the hotel parking lot. The homeless clearly feel this is their entitled home, where I had to pay out of pocket. Please avoid these types of properties at all costs. i will also be writing my congressmen (women) in order to investigate how this is allowed in such a nice area. Additionally, the homeless staying here don't work. They either hang around the hotel all day and night, or beg on the surrounding median strips. As a paying customer, I would like to think that Expedia will consider a form of reimbursement for this hotel tragedy.

Disgusting dirty hotel. Walls and floors of public areas and room were filthy. Strong smells of tobacco smoke and marijuana throughout the hotel. Smoke smell even stronger in our room. There was mold in the shower, bugs crawling on the walls, and water damage multiple places with had been badly repaired, no doubt causing the mold\mildew smell in the room. Staff was unable to provide a new room. Manager was unwilling to offer a refund even despite numerous calls by us and hotels.com. Manager denied problems. Manager hung up on us twice while we were trying to reason with her.

The man at the front was nice but as soon as you walk in the smell of Marijuana and cigarettes wrecked throughout every floor. The room had exposed wires on the ceiling (i assume from an old smoke detector). Dust and dirt all over the top of the air-conditioner/heater. You could tell it hadnt been cleaning in sometime. Chipped away ceiling with rusted nails showing. Dust and dead bugs (looked like bettles) around the perimeter of the carpets. The tub was dirty and had hair all around the inside. I ended up going to walmart around 10p to by cleaning supplies so i could shower. Under the sink, where the trash can was was disgusting. Cleanliness needs to improve. Some very sketchy dude was walking the halls. I seen him on the first floor trying to get into a room then seen him on our floor (3rd) again knocking on someones door asking for some girl? Will not be returning nor do I recommend this place.

Do NOT book here. Infested with cockroaches and hotel will not issue refunds under any circumstances. Management is aware of cockroaches and has been for over a year. Management told me some guests are long term stay so there isn't a way for them to know of cockroach issues. We were moved to another room that was NOT clean. Fingernails on the floor, hair stuck to the wall, drips down every wall and holes in the wall. This shows I can upload 8 photos but it will not allow me to. I understand a no refund/cancellation policy after a certain date if it had been my fault. Being told no refund/cancellation when the entire hotel is infested with cockroaches that carry bacteria and rooms that are not clean is unacceptable.

I ended up checking out less than an hour I was there. There were red spots all over the floors, not sure what substance was on the wall, clear sign of bed bugs, and I even found a roach on the wall behind the fridge. There was also a peg board in the room with 2 names on it, complete and utter trash.

Room hadn’t been cleaned, dried ice cream on the lamp, floor and table, I had to clean it before putting things away, there wasn’t an exhaust fan in the bathroom, the heater wouldn’t stay on or kick back on without turning up the temperature, there wasn’t a blanket on the bed, and I was in a suite, the bedroom itself was cold, I found a dirty pair of pants in the bathroom from a previous guest, there was a tooth flosser on the bedroom floor by the bed, the hallways wreaked of marijuana, there were several dogs in the room across from me that barked non stop for both nights I was there

The bed was very comfortable. The room needs updated, especially the bathroom, but it was still clean. I would stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed here. This time was over 3 weeks while we searched for our new home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Manager Shante went out of her way to welcome us and make certain we had everything that we needed. The suites are roomy and we loved the fact that the sleeping area is a separate room. Nice pet area just across the parking lot with good lighting at night. A nice bbq area with tables on the side of the building. Kitchen area was very user friendly with ample storage, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and cooktop. Plenty of other amenities to make our stay even better. Gym, snack machine, 24/7 coffee and laundry facilities. Dryers took a while to dry but eventually got the job done. All in all we would book again if needed and definitely recommend to friends.

Staff was nice but the rooms were a little outdated and definitely had wear and tear from long term tenants. It was a nice place to stay while recovering from a surgery. The kitchen made it nice and easy. Very little within close walking distance but not too far up the road. The door to the parking lot was also broken and people would prop it up a lot. Everyone seemed nice but definitely not top of the line stay.

When we got to the room, the lamp by the bed wasn't there and neither was the TV remote. We went down to the front desk and the attendant was able to find us a remote. We told her about the bedside lamp to which she said she will look into it, but never got our room number (not who checked us in). The recliner was partially open and stuck that way, It doesn't close. We decided not to use that. The bed felt extra springy. We pulled off the fitted sheet to find the mattress was flipped upside down. We don't know why and didn't care to look or flip it over. The wifi is spotty. Probably overloaded with guest connections. For the good: -Shower was hot and had amazing water pressure. No draining issues either! -Room was clean. -Items were stocked (coffee etc). -Attendants were friendly -Good Location -Good Price -Safe place to sleep -Quiet hallways -Elevator I'd stay here again and I'd recommend.

The property was very clean. I was there 10 days and requested my room to be cleaned half way through my stay and was told I would be put in the list. The room was never cleaned before I left. The neighbor was loud and I could hear everything. Overall for what it is I would stay there again.

The room looked very nice but right away we noticed the heater and air unit was partly apart. We turned the heat on and went to dinner. When we got back to the room.it was still 60 degrees in the room. The heat did not work at all. I talked to the front desk and they said they would put a work order in. About an hour later I talked with the front desk again and they said it would not be fixed till after check out the next day. They also did not offer another room where the heater worked or anything. This morning we woke up and my wife said she felt like something had crawled on her while we were in bed but she didnt see anything. We did find mice droppings on the bed after we got up. Disgusting dirty hotel. Walls and floors of public areas and room were filthy. Strong smells of tobacco smoke and marijuana throughout the hotel. Smoke smell even stronger in our room. There was mold in the shower, bugs crawling on the walls, and water damage multiple places with had been badly repaired, no doubt causing the mold\mildew smell in the room. Staff was unable to provide a new room. Manager was unwilling to offer a refund even despite numerous calls by us and hotels.com. Manager denied problems. Manager hung up on us twice while we were trying to reason with her.

This was a TWO nite medical trip.My husband has stage four cancer,and the room was prepaid.When we arrived to a stifling hot room(Room 214)a little after 3pm,and found that the a/c was only blowing hot air,I went to the front desk to get some assistance.I told Jordan, the a/c was not working and asked if there was a maintenance person who could help?He said,“No, he left at 3. I’m the only one here now”.So I asked to be moved to another room,letting them know my husband’s health.He said he couldn’t move anyone to a different room without permission from the manager.He also didn’t have any customer service skills or problem solving skills of his own.Since customer service is my forte,I asked if he would call the manager, Shantay Wade.He said he would.Then I asked if there was at least a fan we could get,to helpmove the air around,& Jordan said,”I think I’ve seen a fan but I don’t have keys to the closets where they are.”There is one person left in charge of the hotel from 3pm-7am and they have no authority to move customers to a room that is acceptable,or given a key to a closet?I waited over an hour and called the desk to find the solution.All Jordan told me was that he called the manager and he hadn’t heard back from her!I checked 2 more times until 10pm! Decided to book a hotel room for after the Taylor Swift concert as we were from out of town. We arrive at the hotel after the concert only to be told that our room was cancelled and there was absolutely nothing they could do for us. Mind you, it was 2 am and we were checking into a hotel room that was prepaid for. We were told first that hotels.com canceled our reservation. Now hotels.com saying the hotel cancelled it. Next when I called I had a rude woman tell me that because we arrived at 2 am the hotel cancelled our room. Because of the concert there were no other hotels in the entire Kansas City area. Forcing my sister and I (both pregnant) to drive 3 hours home at 2 am. The hotel won’t take accountability or offer any accommodations for cancelling our room, and I’ve still been charged for the room. Would not recommend staying somewhere that can’t even get their facts straight and Leave two women stranded in a city they are not from.

We were only here for a single night, but we were absolutely pleased with every aspect of our stay. The staff was incredibly nice and super helpful. I feel so bad that I didn’t catch the name of the woman at the front desk, but she was so nice, helpful, and welcoming.

We stepped into our room and noticed the window open. It didn’t take long for us to realize the AC was not working, which explained the open window! We began to get settled and starting seeing cockroaches! As quickly as we could we gathered our belongings and ran out. Went to the front counter and let them know. The young man there was unmoved. He didn’t seem surprised at all. He gave me the managers name to call the next morning. We left and found another hotel. Expedia reached out to the manager to get us a refund and the manager will not return calls or emails. I called and talked to another staff member. They will not refund us anything because we chose to leave and we stepped foot in the room, which shows acceptance on our part for the room for the night. Bottom line is, they are admitting to renting rooms out without working ac in them and they suggest leaving a window open. They have roaches and they expected us to stay there with those bugs. They will not refund any portion of our money even though we didn’t even move a blanket or pillow. We were only in the room for about 15 minutes. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!

Even while I had a valid reservation, I was told my reservation was cancelled - not by me or by Expedia. It was obviously a bait and switch because they did not want to honor the lower rate when their demand was probably high. The young boy (Jay - looked like he was barely high-schol age) at the front desk did not have any authority and had to frequently text his sales manager for honoring the reserved room. I had to pay a higher rate at another hotel because of the last minute reservation made necessary by this fraud! Expedia should reimburse me for the difference. I have the receipt.

Please don't be fooled by the suburban location. This hotel is a roach infested mess. I don't believe I've ever experience so many foul and musty smells. Also, the majority of the "long term stay" guests are homeless, and rough contract workers, who feel it's OK to party into the wee hours in the hotel parking lot. The homeless clearly feel this is their entitled home, where I had to pay out of pocket. Please avoid these types of properties at all costs. i will also be writing my congressmen (women) in order to investigate how this is allowed in such a nice area. Additionally, the homeless staying here don't work. They either hang around the hotel all day and night, or beg on the surrounding median strips. As a paying customer, I would like to think that Expedia will consider a form of reimbursement for this hotel tragedy.

The property manager and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. My room had an individual thermostat for the room temperature. I enjoyed the water pressure in the shower especially after a long day of work. I would highly recommend this establishment.

It was very conveniently located near the Cancer Center where I was receiving radiation. Staff were always very helpful and kind. Kitchenette was wonderful, only wish was it was furnished a little fuller. Very pleased with my extended stay.

This is an extended stay hotel, no breakfast, no coffee in the lobby, no ice machines on the floor. The room we stayed in was in need of some repair and a goog cleaning and exhibited water damage on the ceiling. Mattress did not have cover, bed had sheets but no blanket. You get what you pay for at this hotel.

A Real review ! First off, the reviews on this website are so exaggerated, this hotel is Not exceptional, it's Not wonderful, its Not great, and it's not good. It's just barely ok. To start my check in was my immediate first impression, no one anywhere at the front desk, ring for help, asked my name I attempted to show my ID she said, we don't check ID, it's not the manager's protocol. Your manager is a complete idiot. Unbelievable ! I could have booked the room with a stolen credit card ! Unreal. On to the hotel. A Way over priced rundown hotel. The hallways, dirty discusting Old outdated carpet on every floor. The laundry room and gym had a puddle of water on the carpet, trash on the floors, washer and dryers don't work, had to get the dest clerk to show her. The room, wasn't the worst but wasn't the best for my $90 dollars, the bed at least was comfortable, but that's it. Finally, No breakfast as advertised, said their doing away with that. This place overall looked like a rundown apartment building or college dorm, not a Choice brand hotel. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more money a get a clean hotel for your hard-earned money.

It was very conveniently located near the Cancer Center where I was receiving radiation. Staff were always very helpful and kind. Kitchenette was wonderful, only wish was it was furnished a little fuller. Very pleased with my extended stay.

This stay was a disappointment. I was mostly disappointed because the staff member that helped me arrange the details of the reservation post-booking was extremely friendly and helpful. I did also find our room to be bedbug-free. There were a few problems, however: --The outer door near our room did not close all the way. A couple of times when I came in from outside I made sure it had closed...but every time I encountered it otherwise (either going out or coming in) it was open, anyone could have walked in. --The door to our room was jammed tight against the door frame. Opening it required a lot of pressure and made a fairly loud noise without a huge amount of care. --The door was also missing any chain or other supplemental locking mechanism. I could see where there USED to be some hardware, but it had been removed. On the outside, the door was dented and scratched at the same location...perhaps someone had forced their way in after hammering on the door with something heavy? This WAS an accessible room, I expect it was possible that someone handicapped had been accidentally locked in, and this was the sign of an attempt to free them. Other explanations would be less savory. --The night check-in clerk was not at the front desk at any time I checked, and there was no bell or other way to alert someone that I was there. Just had to sit and wait. --There was no continental breakfast of any kind.

DO NOT GO DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!! Got there at around 7:30 pm exausted from driving all day, got told with a lot of attitude that I had no reservations even though I had the confirmation email with a code, ended up getting up charged about $100. Smelled like cat pee and cigarettes in every hall way which was also absolutely disgusting definitely not cleaned ever. Got up to the room and it was absolutely disgusting as if someone just left the room, I have much photo evidence of urine on the toilet, massive urine stain on the bed, hair everywhere, white stuff what looked like dandruff covering the couch, I believe bed bugs, food crumbs everywhere, the shower wouldn’t even turn off all the way it was running the whole time I was there, the towel had a bug on it, there was some sort of dry liquid in the sink. Safe to say I didn’t stay more than an hour. Went back downstairs and ofc they wouldn’t refund me. Asked for a manager then I was told with attitude they’d be in from 5 am to 1pm so I called the next morning at 10 am on a recorded line and was told with attitude no manager and that they’d be in THE NEXT DAY. After I checked out I went to a holiday inn express south of recommend going there they were so perfect and understanding. NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO MAIN STAY
