Check in went fine, but we found that our room had not been made up. We were put in a different room that was OK, but smelled a little like smoke, and the TV was small with an even smaller picture on it. Breakfast was mediocre. Pool and hot tub were down for repair, but we were not expecting either feature anyway. Seemed clean, but could use some updating overall.

Would like to keep coming here but check in time both times we have come here has been extemely long. This time we weren't informed that the elevator was not working until we were all the way checked in. Not good for older folks who have problems with stairs. Pool and hot tub hasnt been working for more than a month.

Location was great..foyer felt 'old' but ok. First thing I noticed was coffee setup..coffee maker yes..coffee yes..after that..no...had to ask for sugar. Cups..lucky for me,I travel with creamer. Room was ok,standard fare..but I guess remodeling..mattresses & bed frames in hallway..we also heard them above us working in room above .Pool was in basement..soon as we got off elevator..no way..went right back up. There was small blood stain on mattress cover,we could see thru sheet, asked for bed redo the next day which they did..but not with a mattress cover.. threadbare sheet. How do I know? Holes in sheets. Also found trash under chair & side table between beds..not ours.. There's only 1 ice machine & no where to dump trash

Though the staff was very nice, the property was very run-down and the room was disgusting. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 20 years, there were stains on the furniture, the curtains reeked of smoke, etc. After finding several stains on the sheets (both top sheet and fitted sheet had what looked like semen and blood all over them), we opted to get a refund and stay somewhere else. Eddie at the front desk was very professional and helped us get a refund quickly. When we left, there was a homeless man camped out in the parking lot.

The hotel was beautiful! Very well maintained and decorated. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. We had a few complaints, but they are minor. * The bed was too high to get into easily * The toilet was very low, but that would be good if we had young childred * There were no USB charging points set up in the room. Was not an issue as we brought our own wall plugs for charging phones and tablets.

Upon check in I provided a credit card for a $100 charge for incidentals. The clerk ran the card and said it was declined. I immediately logged onto my bank using my mobile device and showed her where the bank approved the $100 charge. She then asked for a $100 cash deposit when I gave her. At 0330 in the morning my bank called me because there had been $1000 worth of charges made on my card after I checked in and she ran my card.

Checking in went ok, however the room they sent us too was already occupied. We called the front desk and they sent a man with another key, the key didn't match the next room he was trying to put us in......then he commented on a King room, we had requested 2 Q's, which he was confused by. The next room he tried, also was occupied. By this time - I was ready to leave. He finally tried the 4th room, which did have 2 Q beds and wasn't occupied. He was not concerned about this mix up at all, didn't apologize to the man who was in the one room. The whole experience was quit unsettling. The next morning the gal at the desk was very nice, apologetic for all the confusion, great gal. Breakfast was fine also.

Spend a few extra bucks and stay at a neighboring property. This property is in decline and badly needs updating. The mattress was old, the TV picture wasn’t even as big as the tiny TV itself. The wallpaper was falling off or the walls. The smell in the third floor hallways was so bad it was keeping under the door of our room. Breakfast was ok. Check in was twice as long as it should have been. Definitely will not return!!

The staff seem very nice but this property is really really run down and very outdated (moldy plastic flowers, matted carpeting, etc) I think I'm the only person staying here, which feels a bit eerie. Expedia site showed a pool and hot tub but these are both closed and have been closed for a long time. Expedia should not be advertising this as a place with pool/hot tub. The person at the front desk offered to cancel my stay when I realized the pool and hot but were closed, but I had been on the road for 9 hours and didn't have the energy to switch. I can't believe I paid over $100 for this room when there are many other hotels nearby.
