Clean but rundown room and facility. In bad need of a renovation, or at least an upgrade. Air conditioner was so noisy and inconsistent, sleep was nearly impossible. No amenities, not even coffee in the lobby. That said, convenient to the highway.

The ice machine was broken, the room reeked of disinfectant, there was no chair for the desk, no available plug for computer, the TV remote did not function properly, and the room was way too hot. there should have been a map to show locations of rooms.

Some times the room was very clean and other times it was not. the phones did not work and i told the on site personnel under an emergency how would any one get a hold of the front desk? I had to call the 1-800 number in order to get a hold of the front desk? Why? Some of the heaters would not work? The A/C fans the front covers were falling off. there was no chair in one of the rooms. The internet was not work for a few days. the front dest stated that it would be fixed in a few days? the lower level hall way was consistently full of garbage? The joliet hotel needs to be updated bad and get every thing working again.

Clean but tiny room, WiFi was non existent, first hotel in years no coffee in room or lobby. Never been in hotel you had to leave for morning coffee. Girl at front desk was surly. We were in back building, no one had WiFi. Waffle place next door is excellent, get your coffee there.

Nicely renovated property near the expressway and two shopping and dining options. Room was clean and nicely designed. The addition of a coffee maker would be much appreciated. The downside is they’re not able to enforce the no smoking policy and many people were outside of the rooms on the balcony smoking pot and I could smell it in my room.

Didn’t have a room ready for us. The room we got was not the same room I booked but I stayed and it was very dirty and it smelled bad and had flys in it. Very disappointed and the tv didn’t work and had no channels. sticky tv remote. Dirty towels. Dirty bed sheets. Dirty tub with chipping paint.

The place was disgusting, drugs openly sold in the parking lot from a big SUV, blood stains on the sheets, overuse of chemical cleaner to mask the fact that this was a smoking room sold as a nonsmoking room. The temp control unit had some kind of thick smelly gummy buildup inside - had a sore throat by morning. Service was unfriendly but it’s not their fault - you’d be less than smiles if you had to be there all day, too. But the BIGGEST reason not to stay here? BED BUGS. Full grown, bed bugs. Ate up my neck and arm. Not every hotel is supposed to be fancy, I’ve stayed at many - a bed is a bed and for a night it’s fine enough. But this place was not that. It was by far the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. I worried about my safety in the parking lot and thought I might roll over onto a needle. The building should be condemned.

Are large group of us were in town for hot rod power tour. The rooms look nothing like rhe pictures...much smaller. My room smelled of smoke pretty bad, while others were complaining that their rooms smelled so bad of pinesol and had to leave their doors open, while they sat in the parking lot and let them air out. I don't know what's worse.. Smoke or pinesol. In our room, paint was peeling, furni was held together with tissues and dead bed bugs on floor. Saw one live one in the bathroom and killed it. Many of the tenants appear to be living here weekly or monthly... Strong smell of "smoke" outside many rooms. Everything combined just made for a restless night of sleep. Kept feeling like things were crawling on me...

Well 2 hours after I checked in, I ended up checking out. I have 2 1 year old (twins) and I just did not feel comfortable. First, I asked for first level because I was alone and had to carry them upstairs. There wasn’t one available so I dealt with it. When I got upstairs the first thing I did was look over the room and it was terrible. The bathtub was DISGUSTING definitely not even usuable. It had holes in the tub itself that look like they tried to cover up with paint. If I could post the pictures I would. Then my girls are crawling around the room finding clumps of hair EVERYWHERE as if the housekeeper didn’t even clean the room at all. It was disgusting. I’d understand if it was a strand or 2 left over on accident but there was literally atleast 4 clumps of hair throughout the room. That’s when I contacted Expedia to get a refund and just book somewhere else but the agent reached out to the hotel and said they had a 15 minute check in rule that I can’t get refunded after the first 15 minutes. So I was going to try and stick it out because carrying 2 one year olds was just exhausting as it is. Then an hour later I see these seed like bugs on the sheets. I’ve had bed bugs before so I DO NOT play about this. Then next thing I know I see 2 bugs run across the floor and that’s when I went to the front desk and told them I don’t feel comfortable. They didn’t offer me a new room or a refund because the “manager wasn’t in” my skin was crawling at This point and I left.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable box spring mattresses. They were small too. They only left two towels for three people. The toilet would not flush unless you had the shower running….weird problem.

There were too many people walking outside I was on the second floor so I could here them walking and the guy on the next room was outside playing music on his phone around 3 am I couldn't sleep I even got up and open the door to see who it was and I ended up smoking a cigarette with this guy Mike was his name lol. May be he realized that I got up for a reason he went inside his room and no more music

Not great. When I got to my room there was a guy sleeping in one of the beds. He asked me “what do you want?” I said sorry they assigned me this room. When I went back to the office and explained the situation, they went ahead and did some stuff in the back and then gave me a new room. They apologized again and the told me they had to call the police because that guy shouldn’t have been in the room. The office was nice. The room was really bad, probably the worst I’ve had at a Red Roof Inn.

I called days in advance asking if I could check-in early at 9am and I was told I can. When I arrived, they told me I couldn't check in until 3pm even though I was told otherwise, and I had heavy luggage to carry around in the cold. Ended up NOT staying here and went to the Wyndham next door.

I was denied my room because I didn't arrive before 4pm. The event was attending did not end until 5pm. Even though I called days in advance to CONFIRM my reservation! I will never ever try to stay at a Red Roof Inn nor will I ever use Expedia for my reservations. I had to drive almost 200 miles to find a room even though I was assured my room was CONFIRMED just days before. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE?!?

They advertise flatscreen tvs and coffee neither were available. The door didnt close properly and the toilet seat was broken i asked them to fix it. They never did. I also reserved a king room with pay at property option. They canceled my 3 day reservation saying they couldnt do that because theyd lose revenue, Then offer me a 2 bed queen. Stay clear of this location

We was traveling with others. We got there first. Checked in and lady was rude about them charging my card that AM. I was gonna pay a different way. So i asked the lady why do u have pay at hotel if you guys run the card that is on file without even asking. Yes i have my debit card on there. But was gonna pay with my credit card to get my points. Lady was very rude about it. Said well thats what we do. So after my other travelers got to the place. We asked to move to a room closer to them so we could hange out and just be closer. The lady again was very rude to us. But the manager who talked to our other person was nice. Said she was new and that we could infact change rooms. We went to eat since I was upset over the lady being rude to us since we had got there. Went to talk to them again about changing the room. And again the lady was rude about it. Said we couldnt. And the manager had just left... room its self was ok. Does need a good cleaning. And the beds were not very good.

I booked an accessible King room for my husband and I, but when we got there, the lady at the front desk put us in a room with 2 smaller beds instead. Honestly, we didn't even bother to check in. This is an old-style motel; two stories with external walkways to get to each room. The place is a mess and there were some strange people wandering around the property. Your basic no-tell motel or flop house. We ended up driving closer to our next destination and found a nicer hotel there. If this is all you can barely afford, then maybe it works. Otherwise spend a bit more and stay away

A good choice if all you need is a place to sleep. For the price it's a good deal. The room was clean and quiet. This is a no-frills place. I was attending a track event at the Autobahn track nearby. This was perfect as we just needed a place to sleep before the event and you can't beat the price.

Cheap rate. Definitely get what you pay for. The landscaping and office area very nice. Wish they cared as much about the rooms. Pictures online are deceiving and rooms need deep cleaning and updating. Need new mattresses. Lots of plugs for charging devices. Louie’s restaurant is right next door and very good and convenient. Will definitely pay more to stay somewhere else.
