Nice, quiet hotel just off highway, with plenty of food options in the area. We were in town for a reunion, and the layout of the rooms here are great for a staycation and also roomy enough to have guests pop by. Claudia at the front desk checked us in (what a nice lobby area!), she is super welcoming and professional. A+++ for reception at this hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The only issue was that my husband noticed a little mold in the corner of the shower grout - the bathrooms do not have fans - so it might be time for the hotel to do a little updating on that. Housekeepers were readily available and kept the premises pretty darn spotless during out stay. We also noticed that the door to the parking lot was broken at the time of our arrival, but then quickly repaired within the day. A+++ on maintenance here too! The gym is pretty big and super clean, much more spacious than those at other hotels, and with more equipment options. Highly recommend this hotel if you need a safe, quiet, clean, restful place to stay in the Niles/Glenview area. Cheers~

We always stayed at the Rennesiance Hotel when we are in Glenview. Staff is always nice and friendly. The hotel is a bit dated with their decor and carpeting and our bathroon wasn't as clean as previous times that we had stayed here. Bathtub was dirty and there was a piece of hair on the shower curtain. I chose this hotel because its close to all the asian restaurants and parking is plentiful. It does the job.

Room was nice and provided lots of extra towels and housekeeping did a nice job of picking up the room. The bar closed really early and breakfast is kind of pricey. Pool is not as big for the number of rooms and water was cold.

Probably has one of the best hotel fitness facilities that I have used. Equipment is new and in good condition; the gym is very clean. Downside of the hotel is that it is not within walking distance of anything! It is a lovely hotel, stuck in the middle of a business park. That would be OK if the hotel offered things a traveler might need-such as toothpaste, Etc. The rooms had no Amenities of that type.

Called to see if I could get an early check-in since. The front desk agent couldn't find my reservation and immediately said she can't help with expedia reservations. I was upset for the fact that she was not willing to try to help me to find my reservation. Eventually, her GM ended up finding my reservation. So the first impression of this hotel was not very pleasant. Checked into our room and I immediately noticed that the carpet was beyond disgusting. The housekeeper most likely did not vacuum the floor...and there were stains all over the couch and none of us wanted to sit there so we had to put towels all around to sit on it. Pretty disappointing for our first stay at this location.

The rooms were not very clean at all. Housekeeping definitely needs to do a better job. We had used tissues and wipes on the restroom’s shelf behind our towels. The wet bar’s sink was disgusting, the curtains in the bedroom was dirty. There was pet Sam’s human hair all over the room. The room was very dusty also.

Upon arrival the staff was nice when checking in. My kids enjoyed the pool. I’m dissatisfied with the room. The bed was filthy with old blood on the linens. Also for the sofa bed there was missing linens,no fitted sheet or pillow cases. I called front desk for service regarding this issue, it took over an hour before somebody came to address this matter.After calling a total of three times I went to speak with a supervisor which I was told had left for the day! The following morning I went to the front desk now this is Sunday morning still I was told no supervisor was on site. I was given a business card of the supervisor who I’ve emailed furious. I’m still waiting on a respond! I’m not considering ever doing business here again!

Do not stay here. This hotel was so gross and unsanitary. Two separate towels had brown and red stains on them. The bathroom was not cleaned. Hair in the shower. Hair on the floor. Dirt on the floor. The shower did not drain. It smelled too. I stay at a lot of hotels and this place was probably the worst I have ever stayed at.

Pro: very nice lobby and big hotel, comfortable bed Con: dated hotel, needs work, very loud toilet and thin wall, you can hear flushes from other room. while hotel is next to highway, you have to go around in a huge loop to access it.

I didn't like the room they gave us. I asked for a no-smoking area, and I'm in that area. The noise from the highway keeps me awake. I wouldn't return to this hotel.

It was best customer service. Clean and organised. The only problem which we mentioned during checking out that the AC fan was too loud specifically during the night was disturbing the sleep. Hope that issue get fixed for next customers.

2nd time at this property and we’ve had issues both times. On our first visit, they had hard time finding our reservation and our check in process was not very pleasant. On our 2nd visit, an hour after we checked in, the maintenance guy knocked and tried to explain something to us and couldn’t understand what he was trying to say as he had a broken English. Found out later that night that we apparently got checked and they had no record of our reservation and they were confused how we got the keys to the room (what?!?). The front desk agent eventually found how this happened and apologized and offered a breakfast vouchers. Something is terribly wrong with the staff either finding people’s reservations or does not really know how to check in people. Both times started off very unpleasant and will no longer be staying here.

We checked in around 7pm and that process went smoothly. I had reserved a non-smoking, double queen w a sofa bed. There were no extra bed sheet sets in the room. I called down to the front desk and requested an extra pillow along with a set of sheets. I waited an hour, never saw my request get delivered. Called back down to the front desk and was told she will msg housekeeping again. Waited close to another hour, and my husband had to go down to see what the hold up was. Front desk never received confirmation from housekeeping that request was completed. Apparently, housekeeping had gone home for the night??? Would have appreciated better communication between front desk personnel and housekeeping.

I had to call the front desk because there were two brown lumps underneath the coffee table and I was afraid to investigate too closely. Ended up being balled up pieces of plastic, but then how clean is the room? I asked to change my room to other side of hotel after the first night, because of the constant highway noise that felt and sounded like semi trucks were running over my head all night—they refused. I was supposed to stay 3 nights, asked for a refund for final night because my plans changed. Expedia blames the hotel, and the hotel blamed Expedia—no refund.

The restaurant has limited options but prices make it a good option. Our initial room was dirty with mold spots on bathroom ceiling, signs of water damage on wall, it vacuumed. There was an event until 9 PM in the indoor courtyard that all rooms open to - we weren't notified of this. Only bright spot was service by Leah, who moved us. The room was better but also not vacuumed - our dog found random food on floor.

The staff were friendly and cooperative. Accomodatiions were surprisingly spacious and and provided a fridge, large comfortable bed and an extra room with a TV and couch (convenient for those with insomnia). My only complaint was that the breakfast offered was a one price brunch with no other options.

The room was very clean and they came to clean and tidy our room everyday even in Thanksgiving! If you asked for something you didn’t have to wait more than 5 min. The Starbucks and restaurant downstairs was awesome! We loved it there and it was so nice and convenient. I love this hotel and will be back! Thank you

Upon arrival, they notified me that they overbooked my last two days and that I would have to move to another hotel because they booked me in by mistake My air conditioner never worked the entire time I was there. They kept sending up a maintenance guy with a blow dryer, supposedly to fix it.He never did. The maid came to so-called clean the room. However, she never took out the garbage and had to be asked to put on Clean sheets. Cleaning the room obviously is a different concept to them than to the rest of the world. I have one dinner from the restaurant downstairs. Salmon, it was dry and tasteless. Most of the food actually was God awful! One day I went to the breakfast buffet and ended up paying eighteen dollars for a banana and four pieces of fruit.I checked out.I went to another hotel
