Sleep Inn Midway Airport

Having to pay for parking and im staying there.

Quick overnight before a flight. Clean, quiet. Good shuttle service.

My flight got cancelled along with many other people. So this was a last minute look for a hotel, and found the Sleep Inn. I booked it, because they had breakfast, were reasonable and had shuttle to the airport. Very conveniently took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel and then had breakfast in the morning and got the shuttle back to the airport. The breakfast was good. The rooms were quiet, loved the shower. Got a good night sleep now ready for the rest of my adventure.

Airport shuttle was a great option. Property was standard for airport areas. Nice breakfast option included.

Close to midway airport. Only thing is shuttle bus is full by the time it reaches this hotel. Otherwise it was a nice stay overnight.

Shuttle to airport goes to all surrounding hotels so give yourself extra half hour to shuttle to Midway.

Surprised by the $25 dollars a night parking fee. Annoyed by the $100 hold on my credit card. Breakfast was decent.

I stayed for a few hours in the night as a transit passenger, when my Southwest flight got cancelled. I had to book my own room. The price was cheapest through Hotels.com app. The room was reasonable except for the bed which was bent down and the TV did not work properly. I left by 4 am so I did not try the breakfast, but I was able to make hot coffee in the room. Free airport shuttle was the hight light of the stay.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Shuttle to the airport was great.

The property was good. The elevator needs maintenance to modernize it.

Great location for flying out of Midway. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel is always very clean comfy beds. The staff is amazing. No complaints.

No ac, bed sheets smelled horrible like if they weren’t washed, hair in the shower and not restocked. HORRIBLE

The carpets are so dirty, our feet is all black walking barefoot

Room wasn't very clean, lots of hairs on the bed, didn't look like the carpet had been vacuumed or cleaned in awhile. Carpet under the air conditioner was soaking wet. Room smelled like mold.

The shuttle was convenient, although a bit confusing as it doesn't say Sleep Inn on it. It comes to the airport every 20 min, so waiting isn't too bad. The hotel itself is filthy. The shower floor looks like it has been used as a utility sink for the past 20 years. The floor of our room was visibly dirty. When we placed something on the TV stand, several bugs came out from under the TV. I did a thorough investigation for bed bugs after that - luckily did not find any. I don't understand the ratings on this hotel - stay away.

There were a ton of bedbugs!! Im still waiting for my refund

The night shift desk lady was very nice and really seemed to care about the experience. She also helped us get the shuttle scheduled and tips on good food places nearby. The room was dirty; questionable stains on the bedding, the shower smelled bad when the water was turned on. The main bedroom door didnt fully close. The floor was covered in stains.

Everything was very clean and staff was amazing!

This room is filled with ants that continue to appear on the nightstand and walls. My infant daughter is in this room and ants are nearly crawling on the bed she is sleeping on from the headboard. This is absolutely unacceptable, disgusting and a safety concern. I demand a full refund! This isn’t equipped for guests whatsoever.

I thought the beds were supposed to be queen sized bed not full size

The room was small and the hotel was noisy.

Hotel need to update rooms and elevators

I had a minor issue with the room and the staff gave me another room with more space without hesitation. It was loud but only because my room was facing a busy street. The gym was nice and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. The staff members were friendly and professional.

The shower leaked into the bathroom a lot.

It was great, clean & comfortable! Easy to where we needed to go! Love that Walmart is right over the bridge, so if you need anything if you forgot anything at home, it’s right there! Only real complaint that I have is the tv is a little out of date. Needs a newer, nicer tv with a remote with a guide option at least. But otherwise, again, clean, comfortable, and quiet!

The staff is friendly and the area has great places to eat but the wall outside the bathroom was soft with water and I didn't sleep well because I could hear trucks all night. I have stayed here several times before and I think there was an issue with the window frame in my room.

The check in was fast and friendly. The room was okay. Somewhere to sleep. Two of the dresser drawers were broken and not fixed the right way. The pillows were very soft. Some people do like they that way and some people don't. The bed was hard and not comfortable and all. The edge of the bed was harder and felt almost like cardboard. The blanket was very thin. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap and quick place to stay.

Very noisy from roadway traffic at all hours of the night.

The rooms are extremely small! Especially the shower being a person that’s claustrophobic it was pretty hard getting used to the room! Very expensive for what we got! Breakfast was good & great staff. Very very small rooms for the huge price! Hotel definitely not updated at all just rooms I’m sure split renovated to make smaller. Shower leaked into small toilet nook. Sink leaked as well! Definitely probably won’t be an option for us when we visit again.

I went by the reviews and it seemed like it was a decent stay. When we arrived, immediately we smelled marijuana walking into the lobby. The carpets were dingy and dirty. I’m usually one that prefers budget stays but this was terrible. The room wasn’t properly cleaned. The lampshades had stains and caked in dust. The walls had stains and the curtains looked like they hadn’t been cleaned either. The bed was relatively clean. However we couldn’t even sleep because all night up until 12 AM there was a rowdy crowd in the hallways and lobby laughing and talking extremely loud. The room walls were so thin, we could hear their entire conversation. The only reason why I give it 2 stars is because the shuttle was very convenient and the front desk people were nice.

Excellent staff and service

The lady at the front desk was rude and the room itself was extremely dated. The carpet was bulking in some areas and other parts had threads that were ripped up.

Cindy who checked me in was amazing and SUPER nice. I had been stranded at my previous place (NY City) for TWO (2) nights and just found out I was going to be stranded another night now in Chicago as my connecting flight to go to Ft Lauderdale was cancelled :( I was hesitant to book a room here because there were many other options of hotels I have stayed in, in the past such as Marriott and Holiday Inn but they were booked..and quite honestly, my impression of this brand was not very high. I figured it was going to be somewhat nasty and below average. The price on Expedia was $119 - better than what the hotel could offer and less than half of what Marriott Residence Inn was charging so I figured what the heck - it's only 1 night. To my surprise the service was phenomenal (for the most part) and the room was stylish and clean. They had free breakfast in the morning to include scrambled eggs and sausage. Since this was the 3rd additional night I was not planning to be traveling I was pretty much out of clean clothes so it was perfect that there was a laundry room on my floor so I could wash some clothes. Also, there are 2 decent bars to have cocktails within very easy walking distance - basically in the parking lot of probably about 6 or 7 hotels... TGI Fridays and a bar inside one of the hotels called coaches. Directly accross the street of this hotel there are several other restaurants to include Culvers, as well as a Mexican and Chinese restaurant.

Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Clean, safe, easy check-in and out.

I booked a room 3 nights and customer service was sadly horrendous. The cordial BS talking from front desk to customers was there but everything else fell flat. 1-there schedule shuttle from airport to the hotel is every 20 min. But if the driver radios to ask the front desk if they have people that need a ride, answer the call! I was lucky to not need to be rushing to catch my flight it was so late. They were watching tv not paying attention. 2- someone was obviously was or did smoke some pot in their room. Nothing got done even after approaching the front desk, talking to them about the entire hallway reeking nothing was done. “Notes were taken” but then when brought to the tension of the next morning manager, they have no knowledge of this. 3-The guests were obnoxious. We had a disturbance on our floor, where someone was supposedly locked out of their room and started banging and kicking the door for a hour at 6am with no security no front desk arriving to defuse the situation. And our phone had no directory to front desk I had to look up on my personal cellphone. 4-But the final piece of this mess and why I’ll never go back to this particular hotel, or work with this company is that they were charging myself the smoking fee after I was the one that brought it to their attention. I told them I’ve been complaining for three nights about smoke as it broke out my ezcema and they didn’t care. Never again.

The service desk was the highlight. He was so understanding & very helpful.

MJ was an amazing person during my stay. She provided exceptional service way above and beyond!

The lady at the front desk was very helpful with planning our excursions into the city. She adviced which train stations to get off at and which bus to use to get to touist sites. Didn't get lost the 3 days we went into and out of chicago. Also the shuttle was great didn't have ti drive into city one time.

Very close to MDW and free shuttle to the airport. Plenty of parking. Restaurants within walking distanve.

Was a little loud while sleeping due to the airplanes taking off / landing at the air port near by but that is expected. Very clean and comfortable room! Highly suggest!

Close to multiple food options, and a plaza with Walmart, Target and Aldi. Near train tracks so will occasionally hear the train brakes.

Street noise was louder than usual

This property is close to the airport and in a section of the city with many dining and entertainment options.

Great hotel for the price but I did not like to have to pay for parking, also very close to the landing area in Midway so you can hear all the landing planes.

Clean, good breakfast, nice front desk, lovely stay! The no smoking rule is also really awesome!

Only negative was breakfast wasn’t great. Cold scrambled eggs. No sausage or bacon. The juice and coffee were excellent. The front desk staff was great. The shuttle driver was fantastic!

Staff was great. Breakfast was terrible. Room was clean but the carpet was torn.

The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Waffles and eggs every day, sausages during the week and gravy and biscuits on the weekend. It was by a lot of bus stops and only a 5 minute bus trip from the airport and a subway line into the downtown.

Clean Room good breakfast

It's fine as a budget hotel. Breakfast was better than expected. No mini fridge in the room. Pictures showed one but not included in the facilities list. Microwave and coffee maker. Good shower, hot water. Nothing fancy but value for money. Would stay again.

I used the gym while there. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Buffet breakfast was good every morning. This hotel was less expensive than the others in the area, but still a comfortable stay.

Friendly staff. Good room with brightly coloered walls and nice interior decor (the floor needs deep cleaning though). Breakfast place is very small.
