Check-in was delayed slightly due to the clerk being out of the office for about 10 minutes. The room was clean but the condition of the room was terrible. If your looking for an economic place to stay this is it but the bath tub was corroding as there were rust spots on the inside and outside, the walls were damaged but someone in maintenance threw some putty over the damage. The toilet didn't flush well and it used enormous amounts of water to flush. The room was quiet and there was ample parking. Bottom line this hotel/motel is on his last legs. Red roof should really build a new motel/hotel in the area.

This might have been the single worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The first room we were given didn't have a deadbolt, as it had been ripped off the door. They at least agreed to move us to a different room. The room was on the third floor, and the first thing we noticed was a bright orange traffic cone on the stairs, because one of the stairs was literally falling apart. When we reached the third floor, it smelled like urine all up and down the hallway. People were sitting outside their doors smoking, which was bad for us as we have allergies to cigarette smoke. We found dirty clothes sitting on the floor. The walls were dirty, the floorboards had dirt piled up in the corners, the chair was stained, and the bed lifted up when we sat on it. Even though it was a non-smoking room, the smell of the smoke outside came into the room. The property felt very unsafe, and we decided not to leave anything in the room during the day. Avoid this place like the plague.

The room was dirty. There was a popcorn kernel in the bathroom along with hair and dust, tumbleweed fashion stuck in the corners. The bathtub had grime build up and mold along the caulking. I had one bath towel, one floor towel. Zero washcloths and zero face towels. The toilet ran. There wasn’t a bag in the ice bucket. The tv remote didn’t do anything. I even got fresh batteries from the office. I saw the man open a brand new package and hand the batteries to me. The remote just wasn’t matched I guess. Turning the channels by hand resulted in bringing up the input menu. Volume would go up but not back down. Didn’t matter if you pressed up or down button. Room was freezing, literally set to 60 when I arrived. Turned down the bedsheets to find a yellow stain (food spill as it was near pillows?), and someone’s hair that wasn’t mine. Mysterious scrape lines on the desk/table. There was a used needle in the parking lot next to my parked car. People were arguing and being loud at all hours. The office put me on the backside of motel with the weekly renters, although it was just for one night. There was obviously a lot of drug use. There was caution tape on the stair well. The elevator was rickety. I should have demanded a refund then and there, but I was too tired from my trip. Just needed a place to sleep. Although I felt dirty and safe the entire time. The hotel was not maintained. The stairs to the second floor were crumbling. The room was dirty, smelled very rank, the bathroom sink was glued together, the bathtub had a very arge patch on the bottom. We arrived late at night, so we stayed. Bob Evans was a good place to eat. Red roof doesnt clean rooms. We stayed 2 weeks (work) they cleaned our room 1 time. We had to go hunt towels. Place smells like weed all the time. We had to sit trash outside of door yo have it picked up. No laundry facility.

The worst hotel ever. There were roaches crawling all over. Various bugs found crawling. Stains on Chairs, Bedsheets. Very untidy restroom. We booked two rooms not just one and both the rooms were absolutely terrible. We asked why are the rooms like that and they had no response. We checked out 30mins after checking around midnight. Never book this hotel even if they offer rooms for free if you a person who expects basic cleanliness in hotel rooms.

The front desk lady was nice, but the place was NASTY. Roaches everywhere, the bathroom was gross and the toilet didn't even flush and when i told the staff they said to just lift the chain. Felt very unsafe here, if you're planning on booking here, one word, DONT.

The pictures do not match the room at all, the room was dirty and outdated. We couldn't get a clear picture on the television. I found someones else's long hair strands in the sheets. The floor appeared to be un-mopped as my white socks turned black. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower had mold around the edges of the tub, the toilet was brown the toilet bowl just kept filling up with water. My kids and I found two roaches crawling on the wall in the bathroom which both crawled behind the baseboard. The ledge over the curtains and over the bed lamps had dust bunnies. The ironing board did not have any padding on it, it was a metal board with an outdated iron. DO NOT stay here with children. We had random people knock on our door in the middle of the night and guests were outside of their rooms drinking which made us feel very unsafe. There was an overflow of garbage and bags of soiled towels by the elevator. This is not a place to bring your children.

There was black mold around the caulking. Holes in the walls. Locking mechanism not working correctly. Microwave oven was peeling inside of it. It has mold in it. The floor covering had holes in it. One of the chairs looked like a cat used it as a cat post the comforter has stains on it

The young lady at the front was very nice and helpful The room had issues…vanity sink dirty, tub not clean/hair on shower wall, old soap on soap holder in shower, comforter had several burn holes in it. No cable TV as advertised, only streaming channels available. Later in evening somehow the TV stopped working. Phone in room didn’t work either. Not all rooms come with mini fridge and microwave…rooms with these items are an extra/higher rate

Room was not very impressive. Flooring was warped and large gaps in the bathroom. All the light fixtures had dead Flys in them. Not worth the money they get for the room we were in. The online pictures make the place look pretty nice but just not the case.

Well, I will never be staying here again. I booked a non smoking room but when we walked in our room the heavy smoke smell was pungent. I could barely sleep with how bad it was. You may ask why I didn’t go and ask for another room well the area had me sketched out. I was so scared to walk out and ask for a different room. We had a phone inside but it didn’t work. The inside of the room had broken doors and lights. There were flies and bugs in the room. Finally after falling asleep we woke up to a disgusting sewage smell filling the room. I kept waking up through the night and heard the toilet making gurgling noises but didn’t think much if it. I heard noises outside our door early that morning and went too look out the peep hole but the door has tissue paper filled inside the holes (one which looked bloody). If it were up to me we would’ve left if we could have been refunded our money to find a more suitable hotel. The pictures were extremely deceiving. On a positive note we didn’t check in until about 8:45 and the lady at the front desk that night said she would leave the pool open for an extra hour so we could enjoy it but after seeing our room and the area we decided not to go. I just wish our experience was better.

You get what you pay for. It’s a dirty dump with no cable and no WiFi. At least the AC and hot water worked so they got that going for them. The girl at front desk was nice enough.

Need some updates ASAP, and been more focus in the cleaning of the units. Bathroom walls with stains, tubs with corrosion, a/c leaking water in the interior, and the smell not something a guest will love. In a positive note, the area is very quiet, and accessible from the highway. Just needs some “love” and will be an awesome place to stay.

You get what you pay for. First and foremost, staff was great. The downsides... the room was falling apart. Roaches in the bathroom, toilet barely flushed, bathroom door would get stuck closed because it was broken. I woke up to some sort of bug bite on my hand to where half my hand is swollen.

This place is going down the hill. This property use to be a decent place to stay. The staff is not professional, people are not friendly and rooms are not up to decent standards for the Hotel brand. I book a room at this property and they refuse my stay here and refuse my refund. Be advise for staying at this place!

Terrible roach infestation. AC was not working, phone was not ringing to the front desk, found roaches in the bed, on the pillow, shook 4 roaches out of my shoe. When we went in person to ask for a refund because we needed to leave and stay at another hotel the front desk man was rude and kept lying to us to get us out. He started ignoring and laughing at us, hotels.com tried to call them and they would not answer their phone, their own corporate office tried to call and they wouldn’t answer. We left and stayed at a clean, nice extended stay down the road. Still waiting on a refund and resolution. Save your money. Attached is pictures of roaches on the pillow/bed, etc.

The young lady at the front was very nice and helpful The room had issues…vanity sink dirty, tub not clean/hair on shower wall, old soap on soap holder in shower, comforter had several burn holes in it. No cable TV as advertised, only streaming channels available. Later in evening somehow the TV stopped working. Phone in room didn’t work either. Not all rooms come with mini fridge and microwave…rooms with these items are an extra/higher rate

We checked in after 8pm and the loby was closed, a paper sigh directed guests to use the "window" around the side was a security window, buzzer and tinny, scratchy speaker . A woman inside was sweeping and looked annoyed and finally acknowledged my presence. She was less than welcoming and curt. It took her along time to check us in and she spoke very few words through the speaker at us. It felt more like a prison visit then vacation check in. This check in experience was sad because the room itself was great! Red Roof Inns are usually very welcoming, not this one. Management needs to do better .

When i arrived the lobby was filthy i went to the room at 1st glance it looked ok but it smelled of dirty feet and when i drew back the sheets they had yellow stains like urine. I went back to lobby the girl working Jade was very nice i left and asked for a refund

Bob Evans was a good place to eat. Red roof doesnt clean rooms. We stayed 2 weeks (work) they cleaned our room 1 time. We had to go hunt towels. Place smells like weed all the time. We had to sit trash outside of door yo have it picked up. No laundry facility.

I know it's a cheap hotel but there's a minimum confort that customers must have. We reserved for 3 people, we got 1/4 toilet paper (no back up), 2 bath towels & 1 hand towel, 1 bath soap, 1 hand soap. First day I had to ask for more towels & toilet paper, second day we came at night, service room not done: trash, unmade beds, dirty towels. Rooms are in very poor conditions: rusty furniture, big spiderweb, and so... Marihuana smelling and trash outside in hallways. Briefly: a disaster.

I booked this hotel for an employee for a 3-day training in Tampa. It was in a good location. However, the room assigned was in various disrepair and filthy. Roaches, mold, missing the shower curtain, broken drains, etc. I will be contacting Expedia to try and receive a refund for the 2 days the employee did not stay at the hotel for the above conditions.

The place was completely dirty, door wouldn’t lock, no knob to adjust the thermostat. There 12 people living in the room next to us. We got a refund and found a new hotel. Did feel save leaving our car or luggage in the room.

This was the filthiest hotel I have ever been to. The bed clothes had cigarette burns in them, and were filthy. The floors were dirty, the bathroom was a mess. The flooring was loose from a water leak somwhere, and the tub was gross. And to top it off there was a lot of people hanging out in cars in the parking lot that did not seem to belong there. Not a safe place. Make your plans somewhere else!

It looked like a hotel for the homeless. Area was run down and appeared unsafe. I moved to a different hotel for fearing of leaving my RV in the parking lot overnight. Really the place should be razed and replaced, it was that run down.

Property was disgusting. Nothing was clean. Entire hotel smelled like marijuana, drug deals happening in the parking lot. Saw a Rottweiler and a pit bull off leash on the property. didn’t feel safe staying here and I checked out a day early. When at the counter checking out, the woman behind the counter didn’t even ask why I was checking out early. Horrible place the entire building should be condemned!

close to a state park for 20 mile hike booked a year in advance. Room was less than desirable by any means. Floors were dirty. Used a towel to walk around on, toilet never flushed, and the mounds of caulk in the shower were the only thing holding the place together. Wildly awoken at 3:15am, thankfully, a fire has broken out above the room I was staying. 136- opened the door looked up, saw flames, jumped in my truck to quickly move it. Ended up sleeping in my truck in the parking lot. Next morning, asked to be moved, considering the room was filled with water that had come in and misc debris from the fire directly in front of the door, I waited a few hours to no eval. Drove back to the east coast on 2 hours sleep. Never stayed the last night as the whole weekend was a bust. As is the hotel given any day.

This is a you get what you pay for. For the money spent I’ve stayed in better places that are upgraded and cleaner. It’s more like a motel, comparing it to Motel 6 Motel eight etc.. I said breath included, which was a pot of coffee, but like I said you get what you pay for.

The whole establishment was a major disrepair unlike the time that I stayed there before They were very uncooperative about my request to move to a different room. That was a better condition. They did not offer a different rule for me what I complained about the room being nasty smelling and smelled like smoke very badly and the air-conditioning unit in the room was a major disc repair

The “mini fridge” was rusted, there are roaches, the lamp in our room was broken, and there was rust in the tub. This is just a few of the problems with our room. We checked in at 3:20, and checked out by 8:30 pm making arrangements with family to stay with them instead.
