There is renovations going on which made it inconvenient to get to elevators, thru walkways and continental breakfast. You'd think we get a bit of a discount but didn't.

No hot water in the shower, despite reporting it 3 times. Bedsheets stained… No one warned us they would refresh and clean the room every other day. A total disaster.

The hotel is under massive renovations so there are workers and debris everywhere. Only one elevator works. It's hard to get thru the front doors with workers there. The one desk clerk sees only mildly friendly. Room was pretty nice though. Considering all that, I would think we'd get a room discount. But nope. Will find other accommodations next time till renovations are completed.

Staff was great. Clean micely remodeled rooms. Parking easier than most downtown tampa hotels. Lots to do just around the hotel. About a 20 minute walk to Amelie Arena.

Stayed 4 nights

I was informed that the hotel was being remodeled three days before my trip. Once there the lobby was a mess. The area where the breakfast was served was small with no place to sit so had to go back to my room to eat. The food wasn't the best. The eggs were runny and had a lot of salt and pepper. They should make them plain and let us add our own spices. The room looked pretty new. The refrigerator wasn't cleaned out from the previous guest. There was only a half a roll of toilet paper, no extra rolls. The air conditioner sounded like a train was going through my room and the fan blew hard right on the bed. There was also a lot of traffic noise at night. It sounded like a race track was on the street nearby. I was there for four nights and I had to ask for my garbage to be emptied and extra toilet paper and kleenex. The last day I was there we were told the water was going to be turned off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. I was gone to the beach all day to avoid this issue but I got back I was told the water was never shut off however, back in the room, there was no water pressure or hot water. Katina at the front desk was very helpful to find an empty room for me to shower but it had a little pressure and luke warm water. In that other room, the shower door would not stay shut. I left the next morning without showering but I did have some hot water in the bathroom sink. I will never stay in this hotel again.
