While very clean, this was the most bare bones hotel I've ever been in - and what was there, was really cheap. For example, when asked for towels to use in the unheated pool (yes, unheated in February) I was handed 2 very thin towels that were barely bigger than a dish towel. Some of the staff was very nice and helpful, while others seemed miserable in their jobs. I'll be avoiding Hilton Garden Inns in the future.

The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, though it was supposed to be a smoke free floor. The bath tub did not drain properly and filled up with water while showering. The room door did not properly close and latch, making it a huge security risk, not to mention a fire risk.

Might as well slept on the floor as hard as that bed was. The pillows were paper thin. Also found ants in our bed and when we told the front counter, all they did was say sorry and blame it on the fact they had lots of rain. So apparently rain makes ants go up to the third floor and get in the bed, news to me.

The price was competitive to other hotels in the area. I expected a nicer bathroom, not a tub/shower with a curtain and a very slippery tub bottom, the curtain liner had some mold on it and the room had a bit of basement odor. I would have expected all Hiltons rooms had upgraded bathrooms with a nice walk in shower. The lobby was updated nicely and set the stage for disappointment in our room.

I really appreciate the area, due to everything you need is close. My experience there was not to well, I had loud people next door, the toilet making loud noises and the water wouldn't drain out the tub correctly. Not sure if I will return.

This was a stop off for us as we were driving to the Keys. But right next to the Daytona Speedway. You could see the inside of the stands from the hotel, but a hill blocked a view of the track. Restaurants close by. Rooms were larger than normal with that extra living room space helping out with luggage storage.

I stayed in the ground level handicap accessible room. Everything was great except there are very bright spotlights outside the window that even the blackout shade can not prevent from illuminating the room at night. If you like a dark room, don't book this one!

Our reserved room was not ready at check-in time. We were told by an employee who was clearly at the end of her rope that there was no way to predict when the room would be ready, but since cleaning staff would leave in three hours, it would probably be ready by then... Obviously they were understaffed. Otherwise, it was clean when finally ready for us hours after we should have been able to check in. As with any hotel, bring a white noise machine if you don't want to hear every word dpoken inbthe halls.

My stay here wasn’t the best. It started with check in. I arrived at around 1:30 pm and tried to get check in with the front desk a Miss Juliet. She wasn’t the friendliest at all! When asked if I could check in early just a bland answer of no. I then asked if they could call me whenever a room was available? No you’ll have to keep calling back to to see. So I get my daughter and we drive around until 4pm and still nothing about a check in! I call the hotel and ask if a room was ready. Then she says yes there’s one. Because of her attitude I’ll never stay there again. Ever

When we arrived, we were early for check in. The gentleman, Bobby, was extremely helpful. Allowed us to check in early and helped us out. Unfortunately, the room has 2 tv but only had 1 remote. There was no extra bedding material for our daughter and the evening manager was a bit rude and off-putting. So what started on such a positive note, ended with a bad feeling of the property.

Several complaints for this property. 1) Numerous underage children running in and out of hot tub all night. When complained basically was told they were not breaking the rules. Pretty sure I can read posted rules. 2) "Breakfast" was 13.95 for a below average selection. 3) Had some transportation issues and asked front desk to help with finding some assistance and they stated they didn't know anything about that. Daytona Beach Airport? Need less to say I will not be staying here again.

From our entrance to front desk the lady was extremely nice. The rest of the staff,restaurant, maintenance and housekeeping were very friendly engaged in conversation with us. Our experience was wonderful, we will definitely recommend and stay there again.

We had a late check in after a fliht delay and it couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. The room was clean although the bathroom was slighty shabby. Torn shower curtain and bath products empty and or no longer secured to the wall. Just needed a little TLC. Cooked to order breakfast was a nice option.

We have stayed here before and had no issues. However the room we were given this time should not be reserved. First upon opening the door which was almost stuck shut, was the musty and damp odor. The AC was working but certainly was NOT removing moisture from the room. Not sure the problem was but the rug felt damp to the touch and any clothing left out felt damp when you picked it up. Also there were a number of maintenance items that needed to be performed. 1. The tub drain stopper was snapped off 2. The entry light was burnt out 3. The outlets and reading lamp on the bedside closest to the windows were dead 4. The toilet seat was very loose so you slide around when you sat I have come to expect a much higher standard from Hilton brand hotels and while this was a one off, it did color my possible choosing of this particular hotel again in the future.
