The room was clean and staff were friendly. The property was under restoration from the hurricane and only thing really open was pool hot tub was closed. Breakfast could have had little more variety. But as far as cleanliness very clean everywhere

No buffet as advertised. I messaged the property stating that a partial refund should be in order and no one replied.

Nice place. Beautiful setting. Room clean and comfy. I made a reservation here specifically so that we could use the hottub. It was closed😒😒 Had I known that I would not have gone there.

Stayed 1 night

We decided to do a little staycation at the Plantation on Crystal River and also check out how the remodel was coming along. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. The internet didn’t work, the TVs didn’t work, and the only rooms currently available felt like they were two football fields away from the pool and main area. I brought my boat, and when I went to launch it, the gate was locked. Even though I had the hotel parking pass clearly showing I was a guest, I was told I had to go all the way to the front office to prove I was staying there. The frustrating part was that the same employee then met me at the front desk just to ask them for the gate code. After spending the day on the water, I came back and was questioned yet again about whether I was actually staying at the hotel. At that point, it started to feel less like customer service and more like being harassed for simply trying to use the amenities I had paid for. To top it off, there really wasn’t much to do at the resort because the pool area was being used by a convention. Between the remodeling, nonworking internet and TVs, limited access to the property, and repeatedly having to prove I was a paying guest, this was definitely not the relaxing staycation we had planned. I understand the property is going through renovations and expected some inconveniences because of that, but basic amenities and treating paying guests like paying guests should still be expected. Hopefully things improve on

There’s only 1 building in use, I’m told the others are under renovation. Local rumors are that the property has been sold and will be renovated entirely by the new owners.
