Excellent place. Excellent service from staff. The pool facility is ok but share with a public gym.

Property is in a great location, about 15 min walk to the touristy section of Georgetown. It's close to restaurants and coffee shops in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. We didn't hang around the hotel much so can't comment on it. Hotel had bicycles for use which was nice. The gym access was great, however, pool was not accessible due to ongoing renovation. Staff and service was pretty good.

Really nice hotel in a great location! Steps away from shopping and restaurants, but also a short ride downtown. They have a very nice fitness facility with a lap pool and hot tub.

The overall hotel was in a great spot and it was very clean. I ended up choosing this hotel due to the fact of it having a pool. My 6 months old loves going swimming and was unable to due to the pool being closed. We were not informed prior to arrival. I would of cancelled to go to a different hotel if I would have known.

The property was excellent, it was really convenient to get to. The valet parking was excellent, I texted the number on the ticket and they my car ready to pick up. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was awesome. It made for a great stay and relax atmosphere. I will definitely book here again.

Great experience. Dining and room service were fast and delicious. One thing to note, the gym and pool are open to members and after a busy day, there weren’t any towels left and I had to go back to the room. Another thing is the daily internet charge which isn’t great and is surprising given the other amenities.

Very clean and rooms are very comfortable. Very well located to visit Washington D.C. The staff is gentle and the resto-bar offers nice foods and various carte of drinks. The only little down side would be the pool and spa facility that os shared with a local private Gym. But overall great experience there.

Great hotel and loved the snack and breakfast room on our level. The kids didn’t like the pool as much, it was very small and part of the gym in the basement. Lots of people working out all around us and hard to find.

Bathtub wasn't clean, had tape on the shower wall beneath the faucet handle also. Soap dispensers on the wall in the shower were empty too. When I checked in at the hotel, i wasn't offered anything to drink like i have been at other boutique hotels in the area, not good hospitality at all. Later in the evening, when I inquired about breakfast in the morning, I got a strange look on the face of the gentleman at the front desk when I asked if it was included with the room. Snooty and uppity almost. As if he was looking down on me for asking about a free breakfast. All in all, I WILL NOT BE BACK at this hotel. I will choose another boutique hotel in the area as I have in the past. For a 4 star boutique hotel, I expected more from this place. Very disappointed.

Wished the room was cleaner. It was rushed cleaned and spots all over. Though I specifically mentioned that I’m coming with my fiance and it’s her birthday there was nothing special. Disappointed. Aside from cleanliness and ignored birthday request I may stay in this hotel again

I overall loved my short and sweet stay at the Fairmont. It is a beautiful property that smells amazing, and is very clean. I did not get a chance to try out the bar or the restaurants, but they looked lovely. My bed was comfortable, and the room was huge! I loved the Le Labo toiletries. My only complaint was that I found old contacts (not mine, must have been the previous guest's), stuck to the wall in the shower. My hand happened to graze the wall and they got stuck to me, which was unpleasant. My room was otherwise spotless. Otherwise, great stay and I would definitely recommend!

There was a mouse in the lobby. I wish that didn’t happen.

There were bugs in our room when we checked in but the front desk was very accomodating and switched our room quickly.

Joe, Peter, and the entire staff thought of everything. We felt right at home and they made my birthday extra special. The property is immaculate and we loved every part of our stay. We will be back!

The location of the hotel is great, the room was okay although a bit old fashioned, but it is annoying that the hotel still charges for internet in this day and age, and the gym is open only nominally until 10 pm but basically closes at 9 pm - not great for people with jet lag.

The hotel itself was lovely. I had an issue with the balcony door not closing in my room but it was finally fixed on the 3rd day. The bathroom door was missing a door knob and a cabinet next to the mini fridge was off of the hinges.

Extremely loud noisy rooms. Rooms are nice but you hear doors slamming. Luxury hotel should deal with this issue. Do not stay here if you are sensitive to loud noise

The only thing that I wish the Fairmont would consider is adding more lights to the room. It’s rather dark in the evening inside my room and same case when I stayed at the Century city Fairmont. Location is great, just kinda dark in the evening Evan after I turn on all the lights

Stayed recently for a couple of nights and had a great stay. The lobby is beautiful and the area is ideal. Our room was a bit older, so technically outdated, but wonderful. Definitely will be back!

We love the Fairmont Hotels and this was our first stay in the DC area. My only complaint would be to make updates to the bathrooms. The toilet was too low and did not flush well. The bathroom lighting was poor and the make up mirror was not lighting and not attached properly.

I stayed in one of the newly remodeled suites and it was absolutely beautiful. It felt like my home away from home. The Fairmont is my go to hotel whenever I travel to D.C.

The Fairmont is very nice. The Shower water pressure was phenomenal. The only thing I would note is the for a place as nice as this Hotel a walk in glass shower would be the top need. Shower curtain and bathtub - average. We loved the place. Service was on point.

I asked for a quiet room both times and staff really looked into making sure my room was nice and quiet.

Great location, convenient to area attractions, clean and safe. The one meal we had at the hotel was average. I was traveling with my daughter, who had to spend a portion of each day working. Wi-fi was glitchey, phones and tv were not operating well. Apparently this was a hotel wide problem. So the 5 star hotel experiment we expected was more like a 3 or 4 star reality.

The staff was possibly the best staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. The front desk during check in and check out was so helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be returning again. I enjoyed myself and will be back soon. Thank you!!

Motel overbooked and we had no room. They did provide a room across the street that was far less accommodating and expensive and we did not receive a refund. I would not use Hotels again as this was a terrible experience as we had a late night check in and I contacted the hotel earlier on the day to confirm our room.

The hotel is great. Except that the right side of my rental car was scratched in several places by the valet. The valet didn’t tell me about it and i just realized the scratch marks while returning the car. The valet is bringing down the value of the hotel. They are not as welcoming as the rest of the staff.

Joe is the best. Front desk and manager made my stay wonderful

Excellent hotel. Very accommodating staff. Check-in by friendly staff was seamless. Appreciated the late checkout, which was an important convenience. Bellman courteous and helpful in storing large amount of luggage. Parking attendings terrific in retrieving safely stored vehicle. Was very pleased by stay. I have been impressed by the service and value during this and other recent Fairmont stays.

My event was changed, tried to get in touch with the hotel management to change my reservation. They didn’t respond to my or Hotels.com’s inquiries and actively disengaged. The property is amazing but their customer service is a 0/10

This is a fabulous hotel that is central to the metro and restaurants. The lobby area is stunning! Wish the beds were a bit comfier for the price. Rooms are a good size.

My family & I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Great location, close walk to a Georgetown for food & shopping. Centrally located to DC historical sites.

This Fairmont is tied for last on the list of 5 Fairmonts where we\'ve stayed. It wasn\'t awful but it wasn\'t good either. What I liked: --Fabulous breakfasts, both from the menu and the buffet. Although the buffet ones would have been even better if the items had changed more often. --Clean, comfy, well-appointed, quiet rooms. --Fabulous housekeeping service. --Convenient location. What I didn\'t like: --In-room dining service. There was a major screwup with a dessert order one evening. Nobody seemed to be in charge or to "own" the problem. --Lock replacement screwup. Upon returning from breakfast one morning, we found a couple of workers had opened our door and were busily replacing the lock as part of some major lock-replacement project. We went downstairs to get new keys where we learned that we *should* have gotten a letter about this before they just entered our room. (Mistake #1) Late that night, when I went to throw the deadbolt and place the chain lock in place, I found that I could do neither! The chain lock mount was wiggling around very loosely (Mistake #2) and the deadbolt could not be moved at all (Mistake #3)! I got the manager to come look at the problem, and she got the engineer to come look at the problem. They were both sympathetic, but nothing got fixed that night and I never heard from anyone at Fairmont about this screwup. Again, nobody seemed to be in charge or to "own" the problem.

Great getaway for a night! Love the amenities- though the online room service didn’t work unfortunately. Great walk to Georgetown M street as well!

Fast check in, comfortable rooms, great lobby bar. Restaurant is closed at dinner but several great spots nearby. Great for business travel.Two thumbs up.

Paid extra for internet that was incredibly slow, almost unusable. Coffee in the morning was $16. Expected better from such an expensive and fancy hotel.
