Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. I honestly do not understand how it has received such high ratings or is considered a three- or four-star hotel. The driveway leading to the parking area was extremely narrow, and parking costs $55 per night. For that price, I expected the parking experience to be much easier and more convenient. Our first room was in terrible condition. Water from the air conditioner was dripping underneath our bed, and the room was so bad that we had to be moved to another one. The hotel feels very old and worn inside, and the doors had many scratches and obvious wear and tear. The microwave and refrigerator were also placed right by the entrance to the toilet, which we found very unpleasant and uncomfortable. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the double beds were surprisingly small. There is no way two adults could sleep comfortably in one bed. The location is nice, but that was one of the only positives. Breakfast was not included and had to be paid for separately. We were traveling a long distance and simply wanted a comfortable place to rest. I would have gladly paid the full price for a pleasant stay. I do appreciate that the last person we spoke with refunded us for one night. Overall, however, I would not recommend this hotel.

Smooth check in, room was ready when we arrived ( we had requested a little early check-in time) room was very nice ( looked just like the online listing ) very comfortable King bed , on-site store with self checkout was great, had a good selection of items ,all of the staff we encountered was friendly, rooftop pool was clean and refreshing, you can even order food from the Johnny Rockets inside the hotel to be brought to the pool area , will definitely stay again next time we are in DC.
