This is a comfortable hotel in a great location with a super-friendly staff. I'll stay again but two things to fix: (1) Coffee - or lack thereof; the $5 Motel 6 coffee maker in the rooms spits out a bit or rust water; and the hotel ended free morning coffee in the lobby (which I was told was to compensate for the embarrassing room "coffee"; (2) a hidden $30 resort fee has been added. Maybe all Marriotts - but it is not disclosed, just shows up on your bill. They will wave it if you make a fuss about their fraud.

The staff was very nice, and the room was clean. Great location. The only issue we had was with the driveway portion, which was small and got congested very easily, but the employees did their best to keep traffic moving.

This was my first visit to the Ven and I quite enjoyed it. The room was clean and looked exactly like the pics. Free Wifi worked without a hitch. Bed was comfty and clean. The rooftop pool and bar area were quite enjoyable. And the staff was nice. I can see myself staying at this hotel again on a trip to DC. Will recommend!
