Breakfast can use some fresh fruit options, at least a banana?! No protein option either, the hard boiled eggs were a plus! The pool closing at 7pm is silly! After a long day of travel, a nice relaxing dip would have been SO NICE!

Under renovation. One tiny elevator that did not show floors. Breakfast was not attended to. Food everywhere. A real disaster.

The elevator wasn't working, so I had to climb up and down six floors by stairs every day. Horrible.

The pool was not swimmable, no heater, water was frigid. The exercise room was under construction. Those were the two main reasons we booked, very disappointing.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Biscuits, eggs and make your own waffles. It was close to NY city, which is why we stayed. The only negative, was the elevator was broken. But guest were allowed to use the employee servive elevator.

Very disappointed in the condition of this hotel. The pool’s heater was broken so it was closed, the business center and fitness centers were closed too. The ADA elevator is the only way to get from the front desk to the only elevator bank on the 1.5 floor (we just dragged all our luggage up two small flights of stairs-the ADA elevator looked a bit scary) The hotel and room smell like a mix of animals and smoke. The carpets are old throughout. Our room’s front door had bolts out of place (like someone may have kicked it in at some point) the toilet looked like it’d just been attached to the wall-not level against it, plaster flaking near the pipe. The tub drain was rusted. The light in the bathroom flickered. A knob was missing from the dresser and was pointed and sharp-I went to shut the drawer and cut myself! The drawers wouldn’t stay shut-felt like the room was tilted. The walls are VERY thin-I could hear the entire convo in the next room…at 12:34am. The decaf coffee at the front desk was always out. Bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. That and the breakfast were the only acceptable mentions here. This place needs a lot of work.

Not clean carpet, very old carpet, dirty parts on the carpet. Some parts of the bathroom and room not very clean. Breakfast needs healthier options, gluten free, dairy free and sugar free. But we enjoyed staying as it was a good location for us and grateful to have had 11 nights in the hotel and to have clean towels every day and to have the bed made every day. Breakfast was nice but needs better healthier options. To take water from the machine was hard pressing bottom as not working well. Overall okay and good prices but we were disappointed that the fitness center was not working. We didn't get to use the pool but good to know that towels are provided. Grateful that they allowed us to do check out at 12 pm. Thank you so much for everything La Quinta by Wyndham Stamford, Connecticut. I will always remember this very special trip as it was a family reunion.

Housekeeping did not knock on the door before entering. As soon as we got in the fire alarm started and there was no fire. The pool had only ice cold water and it was out of service. The fitness center was not in service. There was no email notification of the pool or the fitness center until after I asked about it.

Very dirty and dingy and smelled. I would not stay again for the price which was $140 a night.

The room was not very clean, hair and black mold in the shower, tub did not drain well. The breakfast was very limited, almost gone by 9am, and the dining area was really dirty.

This place was disgusting. The carpet was sticky and greasy so I had to put towels on teh floor after I took a shower. The furniture looked like it has been chewed by animals. These were some of the grossest rooms. The staff wasn't particularly nice or helpful. They weren't rude, but just kind of there collecting a pay check. The breakfast was not very good. Very limited, not restocked often. They advertise a fitness center, even include photos - but it turned out they don't have one.

The bathtub in the first room was missing the drain plug and all grime and dirty hair in the trap was visible and the tub wouldn't hold water. We asked for a new room. In the second room, there were hairs in the bedding, as if the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests and there were brown stains in the tub (I am affraid to even ask what those were). We asked for another new room. The sink was missing a drain plug and had only one overhead light and was missing the three lamps that were in the other rooms. Ceiling paint is cracking and dropping. No changing room at the pool. Carpets are filthy. Staff was indifferent and management didn't care. The door handles in the stair wells did not work, a dangerous condition for emergency egress.

My room was dirty the bathroom was gross The hallway smells like fish staff was disrespectful I will never again stay in this place my first and last one shame of you!!!

The curtains had blood, the bathroom splash wall had blood, the one bed was disputing and had blood on it. The desk was all dirty not cleaned or wiped down. Overall horrible experience I would not recommend

The lobby carpet was filthy and torn. One of the elevators was sporadically out of order. The toilet was at an odd angle from the wall and the seat was cracked. Mold in the bathroom. Generally run down.

The WiFi is the absolute WORSE!

CLOSE TO 95 IS A PLUS.. Room and the whole 8th floor smelled like cigarettes and weed. The elevator doesnt tell you what floor you are on. Signage is bad.. Staff was great.. Room key worked and deactivated on 2nd day.. Not quite what I expected from Laquinta.. not at alll..

Weekend mini-trip with a friend and stay was enjoyable EXCEPT for the bathroom. Lighting in the bathroom wasn’t satisfactory at all!!! After about 10 minutes, the lights would out!!! Toilet visit? Lights go out unexpectedly! Shower/bath? Lights go out unexpectedly! Hair & makeup/teethbrushing? Lights go out unexpectedly! There were signs at the entrance saying there were renovations ongoing but IF a room isn’t completely equipped maybe the rental should be suspended and another room assigned rather than rent out an ill-equipped room. Other than that, the stay was good and uneventful. Good night’s rest.

The heating system in Rm 601 is AWFUL! Very very loud throughout the night...takes forever to get warm.

Decent location with close proximity to a decent diner. Rooms were clean albeit worn out. Bathroom in particular was in dire need of renovation. Sound insulation was nonexistent and we were woken up by other guests in the hallway.

My room was in rough shape. Everything seemed to be missing....the phone, the charging dock, the microwave. The t.v. glowed through the night even when off. Bathroom door did not close. Light sputtered. But what made it tolerable was the amazing staff....Olivier, Rose, Karen. Staff like Elma were friendly. The breakfast was also good.

Room was right next to I95 so you hear the big trucks rolling down the road all night long. The hotel needs renovations and upgrading.

Check-in staff was long call before finally checking me in. The elevator needed maintenence - the many buttons didn't light up and the display indicating which floor you arrived at said we were on the 6th floor instead of the lobby. In the room, road noise was horrible (odd number rooms face road), the bed was very soft, and there was no counter space for personal items in the bathroom. There is no closet and the wardrobe was not very tall for long coats or dresses. I would not stay there again.

The bed was terribly hard and the parking lot is not well designed but over all the place was nice and the price was great

Got back to the hotel at midnight after a wedding and couldn’t wait to get to sleep. After going up to the 5th floor, my key wasn’t working (3rd time in 24 hours). Went back down to find 6 people on line waiting to check in. The person at the desk was overwhelmed. There were what appeared to be prostitutes and junkies trying to use the bathroom. Took me waiting on line for 30 minutes when I was already exhausted and needed a rest room to get my key fixed. Now onto the room. Looks nice but as soon as you open the door you’re hit with a whiff of whatever chemical they use to clean..smells like the whole room was dry cleaned with chemicals. The AC is up on high and freezing with no control whatsoever. After experiencing the overwhelmed person at the reception desk, I wasn’t about to start all over again for AC help. It was a miserable night and glad it was only 1 night.

Unfortunately my kids and I had a bad experience here. Upon arrival I was told that the hotel had overbooked our room type (2 Queens). Their solution was to give us 2 adjacent rooms with 1 King Bed in each. This seemed acceptable and the evening desk person was apologetic and accommodating. In the morning, however, I discovered a web of what appeared to be pubic hair in the corner of the bathroom of one room as well as a thick buildup of dust in the shower vent.. Further investigation led me to find an exposed outlet in that room with a leftover bottle cap nearby and in the second I found that the wardrobe, which had a plug for an interior light had been moved in a way that left the plug damaged and still in the outlet, posing a second fire hazard. The morning desk representative took my complaints and only said that they would have maintenance look at them when they arrived. I was offered no apology or compensation either at the hotel, or by Wyndham corporate when I reached out to them. I am left feeling taken advantage of and that Wyndham does not stand behind their brand. The fact that two of my kids were alone in a room with a fire hazard is completely unacceptable. The lack of care in cleaning the bathroom was unacceptable. The lack of apology from the hotel was unacceptable. The evening desk rep seemed to be professional and was appropriately apologetic in needing to find a solution to the overbooking, but the morning desk rep was completely disinterested.

The staff were great people, efficient, helpfull and attentive. Great attitudes. The Hotel is sparkling and safe inside.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and vrry welcoming. The place is presently undergoing a major renovation, but iverall, it was a pleasant stay.

I was given a key to a room someone was already staying in. This made for a very unpleasant check in. The team didn’t seem to care.

Staffs were not good enough and they even gave me a room and gave the same room to another person also. They disturbed me from sleeping and the staff was rude by asking me if I changed room number and didn’t recognize their mistake to even say sorry. I stayed 2 days there and nobody came to clean my room. The service is awful.

Good value and great location..There was a little plumbing problem in my bathroom and the staff didn't hesitate a second to move us to a new room. That's professionalism!

Everything was solid but took forever to check in

Was a great stay. We went to a festival using the train and this was so close to the train station when we got back. It was so nice!

The service was wonderful, I enjoyed the breakfast and the convenience of the diner.

Not the most modern and not the greatest neighborhood (but far from the worst), it's a nice little place to stay if you want value. Room is okay. It's connected to the great Stamford diner, which was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Liquor store and Starbuck's just a block away. Not far from downtown.

The location it’s just by the exit from 95

I had to stay one night to get to a meeting in the mornng. It was ok for my needs but I would not choose to stay here for any other reason. It is convenient as it is right off 95 and there is a diner next door. Other than that it was in an industrial area and a lot of truckers stopping here. It was great value for the money though.

This hotel offers amazing value!! I left a hotel in the area which cost $200 more per night and I honestly liked this hotel more. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, great room (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, 2 queens beds, etc), indoor swimming pool, free parking, free breakfast and literally right next door to Stamford Diner! Property is doing some upgrades but still well worth the price, will stay here every time.

Room and restroom was clean. Breakfast was fine. Breakfast areas need ventilation. There is just one entrance and no windows. Moment you enter you can sense the smell. I pity the lady working hard to make sure breakfast food is filled. I can clearly see she was gasping air. She may not work for long time in that area. She will suffer from respiratory issues. While working there it is better she uses mask. I can clearly see she has started suffering due to no windows for air ventilation in Breakfast area.

In Mexico the breakfast is more generous, At the Quinta Inn the breakfast is very simple, is the same hotel chain, for this reason so I don't know why the breakfast is different

Spacious room with two queen size beds was very helpful for our quick stay after the busy day of driving from Massachusetts to NYC. The large, well-lit parking area was very useful for our leaving our U-haul truck overnight. The continental breakfast could of been a little better with any kind of yogurt and cream cheese.
