We reserved a one bedroom suite and were assigned room 318 on the top floor, on the side away from the highway. The suite (really a room with a separate sitting area and TV) was roomy, quiet, and well furnished - including a coffeemaker, small kitchen sink, large mini fridge (midi fridge?) and microwave - but no utensils, dishes, cookware or other kitchen supplies. The hotel is rated 2 1/2 stars by hotels.com, but that rating understates the hotel quality and its amenities. The hotel has an indoor pool with hot tub, a small but well equipped gym, free parking, wifi, and better than average breakfast, free afternoon snacks in the lobby, comfortable beds with four pillows each, and large, comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, housekeeping and maintenance are subpar. The bathtub drain was very slow, which a good housekeeper would catch and report for maintenance. The room had not been vaccumed before our arrival. The only elevator broke down our second day, and the hotel's repair service was unavailable for six days.

When we checked in we were told the pool was closed, and no discount would be given. I was disappointed that I was not notified before our stay, it was being retiled, so it was a planned closure. When I asked for a discount, the manager said she couldn’t. She told several people this. Then our sink dripped, our toilet continued to run, the chair was stained. Altogether it was not great. The breakfast was good however!!

The hotel smelled bad, customer service wasn’t great. Hotel room was filthy, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been clean in months. Hair in the bathtub, sink and bed. Candy wrappers on the floor by the bed. The hot-tub and pool were filthy. someone called my room in the middle of the night got a call from someone saying they were going to come to my room and kick my a**. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff seemed great ! They had a football team there before we checked in. They were “checked out” but still spread out all over the lobby. Wasn’t able to check in on time due to it and rooms not being clean. We left and checked back in late. The elevator was broke, and to use stairs, shower floor was dirty dirty and had hair on the sides of shower. You could also hear traffic at night.

Front desk lady provided great service. Room was okay. Bathroom wasn't very clean. There was hair on the floor and stuck to the walls in the shower. The shower did not drain very well either causing the water to sit in the bath tub while showering. It was a good location that was close to restaurants and fast food as well as stores.

The property is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. However, the hotel is located on the highway, literally. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend that you request a room on the NORTH side, away from the highway. We were placed on the south side and I should have been more concerned when I saw a note on the bed from management letting the guests know that they had ear plugs at the front desk and recommended letting the a/c fan run all night for “white noise”. Even with the box-fan I borrowed from the front desk, the noise from the highway was quite unbearable for myself and the kids. My husband wasn’t bothered by it 😉

The young lady that check me in was very friendly.(I don't recall her name) Carol, the woman that was working the front desk when I checked out was very friendly as well. She always is when I see her. Kind of give the hotel that small town feel. The only problem with this hotel is the proximity to the road. If your room is facing the road expect some road noise. Also, our mattress was old has the hills I think. It was like a giant U shape which made it hard for my wife and I to sleep. Kind of like an air mattress that needs some air. Room 125. Room was clean!

We arrived after 4 pm and were told we couldn't check in and to try back later with no idea of what time. The visiting football team had a late 2pm check out. Would have been nice to get a message or call to at least let us know. Had to check in after game and our reservation got cancelled. Spent about 30 minutes at desk saturday night and still didn't get the billing part resolved. Had to check with desk in morning and still no resolution. Got taken care of after we ate breakfast, but what a cluster-F. Probably won't attempt to stay here again. Shame since our son goes to college here and we planned on visiting regularly for the next 4 years. Staff wasn't exactly friendly or apologetic. They made their problem our problem and didn't seem to care.

When leaving they "accidentally" charged my card again for an additional $240 on top of the $193 I\'ve already paid and the $100 incidental charge. Everything was wonderful. The front desk attendants were so welcoming and hospitable. They offered home baked cookies and lemonade as a special treat, as well as other snacks. They even had a welcome package with information about the surrounding area, coupons for dining options, and national park information. You could tell they had pride in their community and in their hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We love the Dove products and the full-sized bottles. They are great for the planet and easy to use! Breakfast options were good and tasty (but I wish your gravy didn't have sausage in it since I'm a vegetarian). Oh, well. Breakfast was still good with other options. Our room was pretty close to the highway but it wasn't loud at all and the blackout curtains did their job perfectly well. We slept quite well. We would highly recommend this hotel!
