At Fairfield Inn by Marriott Tracy, travelers repeatedly praise the friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, and convenient location near the freeway, shopping, and dining, while noting mixed experiences with breakfast and extra charges for parking.

The indoor pool is appreciated but has periodic closures or maintenance, and freeway proximity can lead to noise in some rooms. Several reviews also mention air-conditioning problems, including temporary portable units, and a few operational issues such as check-in confusion, billing errors, or missed housekeeping. No water pressure I had to shower with the faucet running while washing and rinsing myself standing in the tub, also the pool was not open to use to use bcz of cleaning time ? Right snack in the early evening. So unconvinced.

It was just a room. Pool was closed. Only reason we stayed there. From the pictures it would have been adequate but without the pool not fun at all.

Our hotel room was clean and ready on time. We were disappointed to hear about the $12 "parking fee". It is dishonest to sneak in extra fees and not show them at time of booking. Only one seat in the room. Plenty of room for the chair and ottoman that Fairfield USED to provide.

The TV controls when turning on or off were set at 100%. I felt bad for my neighbor. The walls were not very sound proof. I also could hear the slightest sounds coming from the hallway. 4 of us came here and still had to pay for parking. How else would you come to Tracy - by foot? The bed seemed good and the people at the counter were great.

I really enjoyed my stay except for 2 issues. Issue number 1. Our room had a portable AC with a hose attached to the window. Window was half open with duck tape holding the hose. Tape was not sticking to the window anymore making all the cold air come inside the room. It was freezing at night even with the portable heater being on. Also, we were looking forward to going inside the indoor pool and it was out of service. When I asked the clerk if they give some type of credit for next time for the pool being out of service she looked at me like I was crazy. Aside to this room was not bad at all.

The room smelled like poop. I think it was coming from the bathroom. So we suspect their water pipes may be the problem. Not many tv channels to choose from. Breakfast is not so great, but enough to hold you until lunch time. You have to paid $12 for parking although there's lots of open parking spots. Aside from that the room was clean. I appreciated the portable A/C they installed in the room. It was a hot weekend.

On first night, I took a shower & grabbed a towel and noticed a long hair on my “freshly rolled towel. I grabbed another and noticed stains on that one. Second day we arrived back at the hotel about 9:30-9:45 pm and our room was NOT cleaned or made up. We told the desk and I asked for fresh towels and told her about the dirty ones from last night, she did not apologize just gave us 4 towels. No new soap & the dispensers were empty on body wash. I just used Shampoo the next morning…..

This property doesn’t clean rooms unless requested but they didn’t tell us ion check in or when we requested all new bedding after our kids threw up in the middle of the night because the air didn’t work and the overheated. Then when I was finally told and asked for service we still didn’t get it. We stayed for four nights without any service and housed spiked sheets and towels in the bathroom for three nights. And this was on top of the fact that we only picked this property for the indoor pool which was closed.

Comfortable beds and room, quiet, bathroom floor a little grimy, otherwise clean, room smelled weird and the door was propped open when we got there, which was weird. Great service. Decent breakfast although one of the yogurts we opened was moldy. Nothing to rave about or complain about really; we’d stay again.

This place was very nice and comfortable. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was convenient to have breakfast available. Only minimal complaint I have is that the water pressure in the shower was super low. I gave long thick hair and it took a long time to get the shampoo out of my hair. Also the elevator smelled a little funky. Other than that I really liked this place and would stay there again.

Hotel seems okay, a/c is out so till they can fix it, portable ones in the rooms. Problem is nit is 100 out and the machine can't keep up. Also I use a c-pap and no plugs by the bed, the front desk gave me a small plug in thing but wasn't long enough to reach the machine so I had to purchase a longer one.

The staff seemed unorganized. showed up at check in and was told room was not ready. Would be ready in 45 minutes, then received text 15 minutes later that room was ready, approached check in counter and told room was not ready. Sat down to wait and then several people checked in while we were waiting, approached the desk again and then staff that was leaving for the day looked at me as I approached desk again and advised they had my keys, not sure how long we were going to wait before we were told. Then room was laid out inconvenitently no extra seating, there was large area where a chair should have been but was empty. Cut my stay early and went to different hotel.

Disappointing Breakfast The staff was attentive and friendly they sreeted you each time you came througg the door The rooms were clean, kept up, newer The breakfast was more of the disappointment. The plusses was the attendat was friendly, the area was clean. Whathey had to offer was kind ok skimpy and when it was getting closer to the end time they stop replenishing the food items whixh is a big turn off as everyone knows especially on the weekends that most of your people sleep in and come down to eat in tje last hour even last half hour and alot of people walked away disappointed. They can add a few items as other hotels of this caliber have that i have seen i.e. bisquiys and gravy, bacon, pamcakes, hashbrowns. Lets fave it its a boring breakfast on the hot side with just scrambed eggs and sauage and a waffle maker. I would may the extra $5 to go accross the parking lot to the other hotel and get these items. I chose this hotel because the sraff is much friendlier and inviting if they can get their breakfast together it would be my first choise... hint hint get it together guys....
