Amenities like the large pool and hot tub, gym and sauna, fire pits and lawn games, a dog park, and Tesla chargers add to the resort feel. Service is widely described as friendly and accommodating, though some guests reported slow or curt check-in and occasional billing or upgrade frustrations. Recurring drawbacks include some hard or uncomfortable beds, noisy A/C, occasional room or hallway noise, and restaurant pricing or inconsistent dishes, plus isolated maintenance or cleanliness issues. Who would have guessed that a location such as this existed in what for all intent and purposes, looked like a major truck stop from the highway. This place is wonderful. The staff, the accommodations, the grounds, the restaurant, all of it, surprisingly wonderful. If there is one complaint that I have and it is a minor one, some of the equipment in the gym is not working properly. Otherwise, this hotel is terrific.

What an amazing hotel!! Gorgeous grounds, waterfall with koi fish, fire pits, large pool, gym equipment, sauna, on-site restaurant! Clean, clean rooms. And then, I got into the shower. All of the products are rosemary scented. I could not get out of the shower. Amazing products and water pressure. We had dinner at the Kitchen (located onsite). Great food in a casual environment. This was much appreciated after a 9-hour travel day. Tons of parking with security. Room to park our dually and 24-foot trailer. The welcome chocolate chip cookie was so good. They are pet friendly, also. Plenty of paths and grass for our puppers. We will definitely stay again when traveling through this area.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool towels in the room were a great touch. Wish the exterior doors the room halls were really locked. They have a key pad but were never locked. Pool is lovely but definitely needed more seating. The restaurant is SO nice! Great food but very short staffed. Wonderful hotel overall and would stay again.

A wonderful resort with a beautiful courtyard with fire pits, ponds, fountains and waterfalls. The restaurant has a huge greenhouse where they grow their own fruits and vegetables, grapevines and olive groves. Very dog friendly with many pet areas and a fenced dog run. There's a Pool, sauna, fitness room, clean rooms and a world class restaurant along with an interesting wine museum., not to mention, a very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

The property is very nice, and so are the rooms. Unfortunately, the most important thing to me, which is the bed, was terrible. Completely worn and uncomfortable, couldn’t even stay on it the whole night. Woke up at 4am and decided to get up and leave. If they would just invest in new mattresses, it would easily be a five star review, but until they do so, I cannot recommend sleeping there.

I like the spacious grounds. It was clean and up to date. The check in was fast and the person behind the counter was friendly and thorough. The only thing that I did not like was that our room was right next to an entrance to the hallway. The use of the door was very noticeable and annoying at night when we trying to sleep. We did not notice the noise when we checked in but noticed it more as nighttime arrived.

While on a long trip down the I-5, I discovered this surprising quiet oasis amidst an ugly fast-food and gas station desert just off the freeway. It has really beautiful interior grounds, with well-kept lawns and gardens, and water features. Very dog friendly! While I'd give the property a 5, I'd give the room a 3, at most. While the bed is comfy, it was dark and gloomy, with poor design and low quality finishes - a disappointment after what lies beyond it!

Only issue I had was at check-in. I was charged again for the room when I had already paid through Expedia. I specifically told the clerk I had already paid, she charged me anyways. Almost immediately while still at the counter, I got a notification from my banking app saying I was billed again, which I showed her and asked if I had been double charged. She said not to worry about it, but indeed I had to worry about it as I was double charged. I really wish these clerks would be more careful, as this is the second time booking through Expedia this happens.

Just a quick stopover after a long trip trailering a camper from Temecula. We were looking for something quiet and cool after the 105 degree temps we faced on the drive. Perfect. Beautifully gardens, excellent restaurant with good prices for a hotel. The greens, berries and fresh produce from their greenhouses and gardens were a wonderful change from chain restaurants. Don’t let its truck stop neighbors dissuade you from stopping. The staff is so helpful, the rooms quiet and they are truly dog-friendly—make sure you tell the place when you book that you’re bringing your canine companion.

The room was very clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was great and the bar was a lot of fun. We were very disappointed in the dinners we had on Thursday evening. It was like the chef was inexperienced. The squash was not thoroughly cooked, steaks were overcooked and scallops were on the menu and one of guests ordered it. Everyone was served but the scallops and the waitress finally told us that the chef did not have scallops. It would have been nice to have been told that earlier. It was like there were different chefs on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
