Friendly service, impeccable housekeeping, great centralized location, and fantastic views of the bay and bridge. However, only one elevator was operable during the duration of my three day stay. Additionally, the AC never reached the temperature set on the thermostat. Also unacceptable. When you’re staying on the 47th floor and during a “heat wave,” elevators and AC need to be fully operational. And if they’re not, calls crew to resolve the issues same day.

Our stay at the Four Seasons Embarcadero was excellent. From arrival to departure the hotel staff was courteous, helpful and professional in all aspects. Our corner suite was clean, comfortable, quiet and provided an awesome view of the city and bay. The only disappointment we had was with the service in the hotel's restaurant Orafo. We had breakfast there and the service was slow, disappointing and not anywhere near to what one would expect from a five star hotel. Even with this shortcoming, we would return to the Four Seasons Embarcadero on our next visit to San Francisco.

We found hair left by the previous guests in the bathroom corner, which had not been cleaned very well. The lobby is quite small, restaurant and gym are pretty small as well. The four season seems like was refurbished and renovated from an old hotel, but only superficial things have been refurbished, overall feeling is still super old and dated. Check-in experience is just okay, as a gold vip member of Expedia, front desk didn't offer any add-on benefits nor any free upgrade. We books two rooms this time, and both were found the charging outlets on the night stand/bedside table not working. There was no power supply on those outlets. We reported this issue to the front desk, but they asked us to find a further outlets to charge our devices. That means we need to go back and forth to charge our phones when we were sleeping. They didn't provide any other better solutions to solve this issue. Only after we expressed our dissatisfaction did they reluctantly offer to change a new room for us. We were super dissatisfied with our recent stay at this hotel. We have always loved Four Seasons, but never had one like this. The room was not as clean as expected. The staff's attitude was unprofessional and unkind. Our overall experience was highly unpleasant.

Beautiful property, and due to it being in the financial district, the area was pretty much like an abandoned town after working hours. We do love the view from our high-floor, spacious conner room. The sunset was breathtaking. Staff were courteous and friendly.

We were greeted late after a concert, the Valet & Bell staff were so helpful and friendly, the front desk staff was excellent! We were upgraded to the 800 sqft terrace suite and found champagne, sweets and treats awaiting us with personalized notes wishing us well as we celebrated our birthday month! Fantastic hotel. I got the VIP service as soon as I got there. The restaurant was excellent too. The bar tender in the evening was super friendly and made great recos for wine to go with my steak. I’ll definitely go there again. There is a Starbucks near by a good bagel place but there isn’t much else. Also, the homeless live to go to the 7 eleven across the street. SF has to clean up their streets.

Neighborhood not safe. I was harassed by a homeless guy when I went to buy something from a 7/11 store located directly from the hotel on Sansome street. The homeless person eventually took some stuff from the store and ran out. So many homeless and drug addicts roaming around the financial district of Embarcadero all the way to the Chinatown. Not safe in SF.

They upgraded our room to a beautiful corner room facing the Golden Gate Bridge and gave us $77 free charge on the mini bar. The Four Season was located in a safe and convenient location. Union Square, China Town and Cable Car are within walking distance. The room rate was great deal for the view and the quality of the room. Definitely a must stay for SF!

We had to be upgraded to a one bedroom suite as our double bed room was not available. It worked out better for us as we have teenage children and they had their own area. Had some great views of the skyline. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated everyone, front desk, doormen, cleaning service, and housekeeping. We had room service for breakfast and was very good. Thank you for making our stay memorable and great.

The waiter, insiandian tall man , black hair, in the Orafo restaurant was so rude and unprofessional. He didn’t say hello and brought the check at the table without to even look at me. I strongly suggest the management to replace the position immediately.
