Pool area is beautiful! 10’ pool and huge jacuzzi. Tropical environment. Great food. The Reef Lounge is awesome. Fire pits by the pool. Clean, comfy rooms. We stay-cation monthly and they have better beds than most. Every thing is close by.

Overall stay was great. Pool area was busy but beautiful. Room was clean but the bathroom was very small with very little counter space. Most rooms are accessible outside and the balconies/patios mostly face the parking lot. Its an older but well maintained building. Restaurant/bar were pretty decent.

Central and good area, but car is a must. Hotel was clean and neat, age does how ever show even if they have renovated it. Layout and facilities is a bit outdated. Sound insulation is not very good, so ask for a room not next to another. Be aware that parking is an additional cost, this should be included and this is one of the reasons they loose a star.

Overall pleasant experience and accommodating. Parking $24 a night is definitely more expensive than other hotels nearby. AC was very weak, we set it at 60 degrees and it definitely didn’t feel like it.

When we entered the lobby we were greeted by “ Pamela”, she was so kind and welcoming and treated us as tho we have known each other a long time!!( never met before). We were on the second floor and she helped us carry and load multiple bags to our room!! ( I only wish there was an elevator there , that’s the down fall) . We had a great bfast in the restaurant there and the waiters were super nice also! Thank you for your hospitality! Lisa Craft

Nice rooms, bed is a little firm, pillows were OUTSTANDING. Could use better TV's. Lobby bar was closed both night. Both restaurants were good. The staff was very friendly. As for location with being able to walk to stores or quick marts, terrible, nothing close.

We love this hotel and stay here often. The pool and hot tub are great and there are fire pits for night time hangs by the pool. There’s a great lil bar and restaurant there. Staff is always warm and friendly. Next door to golf course, restaurants, shopping, etc

Hotel was very rundown. No elevator I know it’s only two floors, but I had a lot of heavy stuff, so that sucked. Bar and restaurant were closed. The gym had equipment from 1993 and it was very rusty.

The hotel is older and somewhat run down. The restaurants and service were great, but the rooms were old and dirty. Long hairs in the bathroom, pee or another yellow looking stain on the back of the door, the door and ceiling were warped from water and the windows barely opened.

The worse hotel we ever stayed at. Pictures are not showing true condition of the hotel. Not clean, outdated and just gross. Our room didn’t get cleaned one night and when they cleaned - we only got glean towels but floors were nit vacuumed. Dont stay there, you will regret it, it was super noisy too and staff didn’t control people that wanted to party all night.

Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away! This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the room smelled terrible—like mold and chemicals mixed together. It was genuinely hard to breathe, and I honestly don’t think the air was healthy. To make things worse, I found spiders in the room, the bathtub was clogged, and the night lamp didn’t even work. The entire place was filthy—dust everywhere, dirty floors, and stains that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long.

Small beds and even smaller bathrooms. Booked a room for 4 with double queen beds and ended up with two fulls. Not great. Given its extreme proximity to I-8 it needs some better form of sound isolation such as trees or hedges on the property edge nearest the freeway.

First night was horrible as a dog next room was keeping barking without stop! After complaining, I was able to switch another room in another building. In general the hotel rooms are not sounding proofing. Your can hear outside peoples’ talking so clear.

The location was close to everything, if you don’t mind using a car. The hotel is dated and smelled heavily of smoke. The sliding doors were far from sound proof, as we heard the people in the pool as well as our neighbors’ conversations. There’s no microwave and I don’t believe that the TV has been upgraded in the past decade or two. Other than that, it’s a fine stay for a quick visit.

The hotel was clean, and the bar and restaurants seemed decent. However, we were placed in a room facing the freeway. It was extremely noisy and hard to sleep. A double pane window would have definitely helped that problem! There was also a lot of noise outside our door in the corridor which kept us up the second night. The room was very old with a very small bathroom. With that said, the room was very clean but dud smell musty. The price we paid was accurate for what we got. However, we will not stay there again.

The hotel is very generic. Did not like the lack of security. Main door was always open and anyone could get in the hallways. Very disappointed with the woman that checked me in. She was robotic. Not interested in any questions I had. Did not explain anything about the hotel. ie =restaurants, ice, pool. Etc. could not provide an itemized receipt saying it was a 3rd party reservation. I felt she was rude and not a good way to start my visit to your hotel. I hope you take these remarks seriously, if you don’t want the true then why ask. And, waste my time. By very generic I mean, no frills whatsoever. Not even a bottle of water.

The vending machine is out of water so I called the front desk to order some and Latrice said that’s not something they do. You have to be able to provide water, I come to San Diego frequently to visit my daughter and this is the first at this hotel and never again will I come back. She also stated that I can walk to another building and I replied I wasn’t comfortable leaving my room to go outside at 3:30a. It started with the front desk not being as friendly as I would expect when checking someone in for the first time to not willing to provide something basic like water for a guest.

Our room developed a roof leak from a rainstorm.and when we asked to move to another room the registration staff wanted us to stay in our room and send up engineering which would not be of any help as water was dripping rapidly down onto the carpet.We insisted on being re-located into a different room and the way the registration handled that was to send up new keys to a new room by an outside security staff member with no instructions as to where the location of the new room was, or any assit to help move our belongings. Further no apologies/or compensation of some sort was offered. Possibly a breakfast or lunch for the inconvenience of awaking to a leaking ceiling and moving in the dark from an inside hallway to an outside pathway 3 BUILDINGS AWAY IN THE RAIN AND IN OUR PAJAMAS.

I liked that this property had a bus stop right outside the property, so it made it a little easier to travel to different places around the city. I didn’t like that there aren’t really any food options nearby the hotel. The room was nice and bed was comfortable.

This is a fine hotel. It's not great, but it's not at all bad - most importantly, my room was clean and fully functional (not always the case in hotels like these). It's on the side of the freeway that doesn't have much to offer, so you're not walking to anything from here. I stayed in a room that was on the freeway side... while the room was nice and had a balcony, there was no way to drown out freeway noise. If you're a light sleeper, try to get a room away from the freeway.

The pool area is very nice and we enjoyed it over the weekend. They have followed the practice of small pillows for the bed, so while bed was not uncomfortable per we, the 3 small pillows made sleeping uncomfortable. Bring your own. Restaurant is okay for bar style foods. I would love to see more gluten friendly items.

The peoperty was nice it is older needs a few upgrades like maybe a smart tv. But overall im not complaining . Loved the lounge and bar at the pool and the service at front desk was so nice! I would stay again. Only thing is the having to pay to park in their parking lot. But it is what it is.

I liked my stay! I stayed in a beautiful balcony room facing the pool. Lounged all day with the window open listening to the breeze as I got ready for my night at the theater. The room was clean and spacious, and the noise complaints I had read really didn't bother me as it was a quiet night I suppose. I wish I had brought swim suit as the few people in the pool and hot tub made me incredibly jealous, even though it was a chilly night the pool seemed to heated and warm enough to get in. My one complaint was that I had wanted to eat dinner and have drinks in the hotel restaurant but it was closed! On a Saturday night i was kind of shocked that it was. They had the pool bar open and we decided to have a drink there which was.. okay, the staff very nice but it was so awkward because they kind of just stared at you, I kept thinking to myself "say hi! your working in customer service" i was always the first one to engage in a hello first which just made me feel uneasy and I wanted to just finish my drink and the get out of there. Other than that experience, I would stay here again and again, just maybe make reservations for dinner and drinks elsewhere ahead of time.

Plan $24 per night to park! Total crap. Building has a very dated appearance on exterior. Lobby, bar and restaurant areas appear updated and have a fresh look. No elevators and only a small # or rooms accessible without stairs. Pool and hot tub area were clean. Food was good and bars service excellent.
