Courtyard by Marriott Livermore

What guests think

At Courtyard by Marriott Livermore, travelers consistently praise clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, accommodating staff, while recurring drawbacks include thin walls and occasional noise from the heater/AC or nearby aircraft, plus comments that the amenities and breakfast feel limited.

The location is convenient for town, shopping, and freeway access, with some describing the area as quiet, though a few found the one-way roads make driving in a bit tricky. Guests also note accurate room photos, but some found lighting and counter space limited when getting ready. A practical choice for short stays in the area.

I like the Starbucks in the lobby and the property is clean and has a good selection in the little convenience store. I’ve stated this location numerous times because it suits our needs very well.

Receptionist is not friendly and pleasant. Toilet bowl is very low and no rail to hold on. Is hard to seat on and get up especially for the elderly. See picture below. No breakfast provided and no even a cup of cafe. No swimming pool. Not recommended.

My family stays here a few times a year when we visit family, and we always enjoy our stay. It is close to shopping and dining, it is clean, the beds are comfy, food is good, and staff is always friendly and helpful. Twice, we had to wait quite a while before someone came to the front desk, but when they came, they were very friendly and helpful. Cafe staff is always friendly, too.

The room was very nice and clean. But trying to get ready for a wedding was a little difficult for three of us. It’s very rare to see a nice full length mirror in a hotel room and that was a plus. The only drawbacks was that the room was too dim for our liking. There was not enough lighting in the room especially where the mirror was and where the sink area to efficiently put makeup on. The sink counter was tiny to spread out our makeup for a wedding. We tried using the console below the tv but there was no mirror nor good lighting there as well. The beds were very comfy.

The staff here was so accommodating, I have zero complaints. The front desk agent so kindly picked up on the idea that I wanted some peace and quiet in between work and she booked me into the perfect room! She was also so kind to extend my check out time by an additional 2 hours because I was in between wedding events and I was able to rest. Would absolutely stay here again, my experience was exceptional!

The hotel was nice but the walls are thin and it was pretty loud. I stayed on the second floor and it sounded like someone was moving furniture all night. I’m not sure what it was but it kept up all night. It possibly was the sliding glass door attached to the balcony? So maybe when booking it’s best to stay on the top level to avoid that noise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I think for the price breakfast should be included and not an extra charge. Overall it was a nice place to stay. I was there for business and it was good for what I needed.
