Such a beautiful location as it felt like we had our own private beach 10steps out the door. The rooftop bar is honestly the best one and has the best view for sunsets! This hotel has character! We will definitely be back! Staff - make sure to buy more portable chairs for the beach … soon!

The main thing to remember when booking here is that you are paying for the location, not the room. Definitely not the room. It is an older hotel and the room we had did reflect that. The number one thing that made it so we won't return is that that when we were there (August) it was hot and humid, however no one had turned on the portable AC in the room before we got there. The room didn't really become bearable until the next morning. Just make a reservation for the rooftop and stay somewhere else.

Don’t miss this beautiful affordable gem! Probably the best deal in Laguna Beach. Yes, the rooms are quaint and could use a little buff up. Paint here a little work on the windows, but the beds are wonderful. The shower works great. The view is unbelievable and just steps from the ocean, if you just want to reset your nervous system go and stay if you’re looking for polished and refined this isn’t your place. I spent two separate trips there each time waking up early to grab my coffee and watch the sun come up over the ocean. The beach is spectacular convenient. They have chairs and umbrellas and things you can bring down there. The staff is super welcoming.I just sat on the bench above the water, watching the kids, body surfs, and in the morning when it’s super quiet, I watched the sun slowly shine up the water and at dusk, I couldn’t resist looking at this beautiful sunset. Definitely will be back if you haven’t been Laguna Beach make this your first stop you won’t be disappointed. It’s super quiet at night. I’m very comfortable. It feels safe and there’s lovely dining options just around each corner. There’s a great dining and bar rooftop deck. Perfect place to look at Laguna and enjoy a cocktail or a great dinner. I’ll be back again this is healing for the soul.

La Casa del Camino is a charming old beauty in an outstanding location—just about 100 feet from the beach\. You can smell the ocean air, walk to the sand in minutes, and truly relax\. The rooftop deck simply can’t be beat, especially for taking in the view and enjoying the Laguna Beach atmosphere\. I usually choose one of the least expensive rooms, which makes this hotel an incredible value, particularly since parking is included\. The single rooms can be small and quaint, and some are more rustic than others and could use a little buffing up\. If you’re looking for sleek, modern luxury, this may not be the place for you\. But if you appreciate character, history, warmth, and affordability, La Casa del Camino is hard to top\ Many of the rooms have ocean views. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are excellent, and the hotel feels welcoming and relaxed\. wake up early walk to the coffee shop Sur grab a latte then go sit on a bench as the sun comes up spectacular Reset. Don’t miss this one What truly makes the experience special is the staff\. Everyone is remarkably friendly, always greeting you warmly and checking to make sure you have what you need\. Their kindness and hospitality make the hotel feel like a home away from home\. For charm, comfort, location, ocean air, free parking, and exceptional value, you really couldn’t do much better\. I highly recommend La Casa del Camino and look forward to return

There was a little problem with the bathroom sink at check-in, but the issue was resolved quickly and efficiently, and a new room was assigned. The staff was very attentive and made an appropriate accommodation at the time of check out. The staff communicates exceptionally well, and they know how to listen (Spencer, Nathan and Candy). The location was great, the rooftop bar was perfect, and the nighttime music was lively. This is a very good place to stay in Laguna Beach. Parking was a blessing as things get tight in Laguna on the weekends. The AI phone system still has a few bugs to work out.
