Fitness center was decimated. But experience was fine.

On arrival, entrance blocked by construction and no available parking. Contrary to advertising, I was charged for hotel parking and told their policy had, “recently changed.” Told us I didn’t pay, I could park “somewhere “ across the street maybe. Shower curtain rod hanging and bent so curtain wouldn’t close. Broken tiles, dirty floors and overall musty smell in room. Maid arrived second day and took dirty towels without replacing anything. Exterior “smoking area” at entrance to parking structure filled with gangster punks that commented loudly to everyone going to their cars. Fortunately I was away during both days of my stay and only returned to sleep and shower. Have fun with the wet shower floor and maybe someone will look up to fix the shower rod!

Good: Area and price are fine. Staff service is ok. The pool and fountain were very nice. Gated parking structure (though very crammed). BAD: Building maintenence is rather lacking. Old facilities that desperately need modernization and repairs, pipes that leak in the parking structure, rooms with weird smells (mold and cigarettes). Elevators are sketchy.

The Ramada by Wyndham Hawthorne LAX / LA Stadium was remarkably quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and being pet-friendly was a big plus. The only downside was the jacuzzi was closed. The staff was excellent and I recommend this hotel as a good night's stay.

Clean, semi-hard bed. Inexpensive, quiet for being just off the 405 freeway. Free covered parking. Nothing to complain about. I’d stay there again.

No elevator(out of service), no breakfast, no shuttle bus to/from LAX.

Old property needing updating.. Lots of things don't work like tv and HVAC settings Expedia said parking is free but we were charged $10 per day. But low priced and convenient to lax

Run down - the room was disgusting. Public hair all over the bathroom. Slept on the bathroom towels. Didn’t trust the cleaning at all. Place was very rundown. Very depressing

We got a nasty room smells like humidity dirty carpet no toilet paper no hand soap im so disappointing 😔 i went to the front office to tell them they say the hotel is really old so they didn't do anything i been sick because the smell walls with mold windows with mold nasty place

Upon entering the room, I was immediately confronted with an overwhelming stench, and a general sense of uncleanliness. Specifically:The mattress was visibly soiled, with noticeable stains and what appeared to be biological matter. Several amenities and surfaces within the room were stained, and gave off an unpleasant odor, raising serious concerns about hygiene and health safety. The staff made an attempt to accommodate me presenting three different rooms all of which were in the same condition and matched the odor presented at entry. This experience not only caused considerable inconvenience and stress, but also disrupted my travel plans. I had expected a safe and sanitary environment as advertised, and what I encountered was entirely unacceptable. Pull those sheets and check the condition of where you plan to rest and reset.

Smells awful smell stuck in clothes was that bad. Hotel very run down. Stayed in many Ramada inns this one did not measure up. It wasn’t even close.

Best thing on the property and the room was the t v.Everything was terrible, roachs bathroom was nasty could not take a shower. Before you all rent any of those rooms you all, need to renovated it is sad to charge that much money and you get garbage. Everybody i talk to had the same experience wish i could get a refund. My opinion.

The room was dirty with so many water stains along the base boards and ceiling. The room had gnats and the pillows were dirty. Towels had stains on em and the tv only got 3 channels. It was not a pleasant experience

Stay away from this place, IT IS DIRTYYY!!!! There was trash under the beds. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Extractor did not work, which explains the moldy bathroom. Toilet did not flush because it did not have running water. Horrible experience, called the front desk to fix the toilet. Lady that answered the phone was very rude. Decided to get our things and leave. Pictures from this place are very misleading. Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT stay here.

Bed bugs in two of my rooms. Took videos and pictures. Horrible stay. Had no rest as I didn’t want to get on the bed at that point.

The bathroom had mold on the walls and ceiling. The whole place felt dirty and didn't smell good. There was breakfast advertised but there was no breakfast. The road noise was very loud in our room. Beds were ok.

It was awful. My son and I checked in, we got the keys at 5:30pm. After we had the keys, we departed right away to see friends staying in the Hilton. At 9:30pm we came back to the room to rest. We decided not to stay after seen cockroach in the bathroom floor and the smell of the room like mold and the carpet dirty. We slept in our car at the hotel parking lot. The hotel websites shows nice pictures not reflecting the look of the rooms in reality. Really bad experience.

The bed was comfortable and there is a gorgeous open air courtyard in the center of the building. However, the toilet ran, there was a silverfish on the floor of the bathroom when I got up, there was no hot water at 5:30 on a Sunday morning and there were not any solid, light blocking curtains in the room.

The check-in was quick and easy, friendly staff. The AC didn’t work, the wifi doesn’t work on the 4th floor. The dead bolt on the door didn’t work. Its alright but definitely wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel was not well maintained. One of the front doors was broken/couldn't be used, the broken elevator mentioned in other reviews was still broken. The fountain/waterfall by the pool was drained and made the pool area look dirty and depressing, the pool itself was fine, but dirty towels were on the ground around it. In our room one lamp didn't work at all, 2 lamps had broken on/off knobs (one knob was missing entirely). The beds were hard/uncomfortable, but at least each bed had 3 pillows. The bathroom had previous damages to the tile, that damage was *fixed* by someone who didn't know how to do tile, with tiles that didn't match the rest of the shower, there were rusty fixtures (specifically the drain hole), soap scummy or hard water spots on the walls and the tub looked grubby suggesting cleaning isn't a priority. One of the outlets plug holes was broken and the other plug was loose my phone charger couldn't stay plugged in. The tv picture and sound quality was poor. That was a lot of negative information, but here is the positive. The air conditioner worked, the fridge worked, and it was one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was one of the cheapest priced locations in the area. There was a well stocked snack and beverages for purchase area. The wifi worked for my daughter to do homework on her laptop, but didn't work on either of our phones. Overall I wouldn't stay there again. I'll spend the extra money to stay elsewhere and recommend you do as well.

Rooms are clean, nice. Absolutely nothing wrong with the rooms. Outside the rooms looks a bit worn out, not always clean. Parking garage also not very clean. Probably can be remedies a little attention. This particular stay I had a terrrible wifi experience. Fortunately I didn't need to work from the room this time. If the rooms are closer to he entrance, which I had in the past, wifi was greate.

Place is in need of a remodel big time. Looks like it would have been real nice maybe 20 years ago. Kind of a cool layout with the pool where it is and all. But my room carpets were dirty, found one of those things that girls tie their hair up with on the ground next to the bed, the shades are not light blocking so you are up with the sun. Shower was ok, bed was ok but the real winner were the towels. Not kidding. the softest towels ever. Made me want to steal one, but I didn't. I took a picture of the label and will try to find them. DON"T TAKE TOWELS!!!

Lovely bed which is so important....pretty run down dated bathroon....TINY TV....disappointing.....poor,confusing signage

The room was clean, spacious and the staff was friendly. I cant say its quiet bc I had a room across from the pool and obviously children were having fun. Cant fault them there. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay fully.

Staff member was very nice. The building is littke run down but you can't complain for you price.

Reservation was in my husband's name but they refused to take my credit card. We have the same last name? I travel often and this was SO weird. I had to contact Expedia to change the reservation to my name and they could not add my husband at that point. At least at the hotel I was able to add his name to the room. Very unfriendly human at the front desk. I will make a report on Yelp and Trip Advisor about that experience. zero customer service. She was SO miserable. UGH Also OMG this hotel charges you $35 if you want to check in early. That is VERY crazy. Every hotel I have every stayed out will let you check in and text you or call you when room becomes available or if rooms are available they give you the keys. So what happened was the entire lobby was full of folks with luggage just sitting there for hours to avoid the $35. SO annoying honestly. I will never be back.

Upon arrival, although the staff were courteous, the check-in process was unusually slow. I was handed the room key without being informed of the room number. I only realized this once I was already in the elevator, which forced me to return to the front desk to obtain this basic information. Additionally, I was not provided with any Wi-Fi details, and my attempts to contact the front desk—three times—went unanswered. This lack of communication and basic service is unacceptable. Prompt and accessible customer support is expected, especially when staff are present.

Called the hotel more than 3times before booking for making sure a couple of stuffs and before getting to the hotel after booking, but nobody answered my calls. When I got there, nobody at front desk about 1hr, so that I called to Wyndham call center. They finally showed up right before check in time at 3pm. I asked to prefer my room near the elevator, but most far room they gave me lol. The room had mold in bathroom,the paper holders were rust….

Had staff enter room without knocking before coming into my hotel room, and it wasn’t even close to check out time!! They came in without knocking or yelling out “housekeeping”, very unprofessional

Staff was rude and unhelpful, would not let me check in until 3 pm unless I paid them a bribe.

At the front desk, I was NOT greeted by a young lady. She never said hello or someone will be with you, for 5 minutes. Finally, a man came in and was professional. Not a friendly group!! The elevator was in bad condition. My room was dirty. The floors were nasty. The refrigerator was broken. The TV was a 19”!!! Seriously!! What a dumb!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! They are rude and the rooms are dumps!!!

Great stay at the Ramada in Hawthorne. It was close to the freeway literally as you exit the 405 is pass the light. So convenient for any driving to and from locations. Safe and quiet as well as great hot running water and spacious rooms. It may look much older outside or inside but it was to me more organized than some 3 star hotels I have been to. The one thing I dont like is the new $10 charge for parking. There is I am sure free street parking but you have to walk across the street or look at signs to see when you can and cannot park. But the parking lot was enough to fit my rental car in each time I came in late or early.

Hotel itself is kinda sketchy in the sense it’s really old and unclean. Also parking garage is a nightmare. IMO I just wanted a safe place to sleep so it was fine. The hotel is off the highway so it’s okay, but it’s kinda too far from anything so be ready to spend the money you saved on Ubers probably or turn it into stress from driving around Los Angeles

It was an older property, no frills, no restaurant or breakfast. However, it was clean and the neighborhood across, where I would walk to transit,was quiet residential. There is a Denny's diagonally across the street 24/7. Unlike some of the fancier hotels I stayed at, there was a microwave! That really cut down on waste and my food budget!

2 Night stay before flying out of LA, area was very good to stay, Ronada Beach, Hawthorne, Lawndale area quiet and safe, not much homeless or beggars around. Close to the airport without going onto the freeway

The stay is horrible horrible. I stayed for 2 nights with my family and had a worst experience.The booking says free breakfast when I check at the property they said no breakfast it is Expedia who is added the breakfast and not them . (Wrong ad and booking) There is no housekeeping or room service at all. They sticked a label saying they won’t clean the room for 3 days and for any additional towels ask for help. When I called them to provide extra towel. They asked me to come and collect from the front desk as there is no housekeeping or room service and I took 2 floor staircase by walk whenever I need anything to the front desk. The lift won’t work(not under maintenance) and should use staircase always (with luggage’s also) . Next disappointment is food .they have order inn service for food . They delivered food after 3hrs and missed half of my order and misplaced few other orders . The taste of food is horrible smells like old rotten food. When called them and checked they said the kitchen is closed and they can’t fix it even after 3hrs of delivery and they will try to refund.but in that time I can’t able to arrange food for my kids. If I know this before I would ordered somewhere for my kids . Will never recommend or use this in future.

The property says ,Breakfast included and this Ramada has no Breakfast , the staff said it has been no Breakfast for over a year.!

I have stayed here 2 or 3 times before but it's changed. This time was a 3 day weekend here and it was not ideal. THERE IS NO BREAKFAST. This hotel posting should be updated to reflect that. Free breakfast is one of the factors I weigh in choosing a place to stay because then I don't have to go anywhere else in the morning. That's more money and time outta pocket. No ability to check in early, not even for a fee. There are so many rooms here -it was not full- there should be no excuse not to be able to check in. The TV reception was grainy all weekend but to be fair I just had it on for background noise. I probably will pay extra to stay somewhere else next time I'm visiting LA.

It great area. Was told online it had breakfast and it did not. Bathroom had leaks. Very dark in the room.lights looked like they were going out very unpleasant
