Quality Inn Half Moon Bay was conveniently located to numerous points of interest in the area. The room was clean and orderly and the breakfast area clean and well stocked with many selections. Billing was straight forward with now hidden fees. Parking was free on site and readily available.

Parking was safe and easy. Location is convenient. Could have more breakfast entrees beyond self-make waffles and cereal. For example, hard boiled eggs require no cooking. TV had no signal, but was there for pumpkin festival not to watch TV. Will stay here again.

Clean room, comfy bed. On ground floor it was noisy until upstairs room settled. And cleaners started vacuuming overhead just before 9 am. Otherwise a good stay. No elevator so accessible folks must put up with noise from upstairs. Breakfast choices decent, coffee at breakfast not good.

This place was great. Dog friendly. All the rooms are on the back away from the main highway, so it was very quiet. Rooms were clean and exceptional.

Breakfast was a hot waffle. This is Half Moon Bay. Our stay 3 days earlier in Mariposa gave eggs, sausage and fruit. Our room had bugs. Took pictures, posted. Manager said she didn’t care. Night desk manager moved us at midnight. They need different management and better amenities for $400 over 2 nights. It's Half Moon Bay! Pictures also don't match the property condition.

I took my 12 lb. Smooth coat jack russell with me, paid 90.00 extra for 2nights and she came home infested with fleas. Up to this point my 4year old had never had a flea bite. I was also covered in bites. I am going to have to bomb my car, my house, even my suit case has little black fleas. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! FREE IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

The coffee was really good - a rare find at any hotel. We especially appreciated the fresh fruit on the breakfast bar. Nothing really special about the hotel other than it's close to the beach. It looks better from the outside than the inside. Shower pressure was terrible, barely sprayed any water and was only warm. I like to take hot showers and a good shower is very important. It was nice to have breakfast at the hotel but it was just waffles, fruit and bagels.

no hot water during my entire stay. when I complained was ti\old it takes 40 minutes to travel from back of hotel to front. Next day I ran it for 40 minutes and it never got hot. I am sure they would have changed rooms but I chose not to move and took sponge baths

Front desk person Ozz was not friendly or welcoming. Quiet individual. The first room was close to Main Street and could hear traffic noise. We returned to office and were assigned a room further away from road but could still hear road noise. Ozz not friendly or apologetic. Breakfast was good but no one came in to check on the guests, no customer service, no wiping of dirty tables, both times no one was at front desk during entire time we had breakfast. Rooms decor is old and in need of updating, had dungy smell. We will not be back.

This is our third time coming to this property and we will definitely be back many more times. The property is located perfectly next to many dining options, food, shopping, and beach access. Every day we were able to walk from our hotel room to the beach down a queue point little neighborhood street Right to beach access. Perfect for traveling with children.

Good stay in general for Thanksgiving when you know you’re not going to get housekeeping service etc. breakfast should be until 10am especially on the weekends. They started breaking it down at 9:28… while several people were still trying to get their meals. Next door goes till 10am think it should be the same at both hotels. I get it that you’re short staffed for TG but going a little extra till 9:35 would seem appropriate.

I stayed here and at a few other Half Moon Bay hotels while I was doing shows all weekends. This Quality Inn was definitely my favorite! With a tub, microwave and fridge in every room and tables and chairs outside to sit and relax. And the waffle breakfast was yummy, too!

Room was nice, clean; room service included every day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem was breakfast, which was a huge disappointment. No hot food other than waffles. No eggs, bacon, sausage; nothing other than waffles, bagels, a couple of cereals in prepackaged plastic bowls, oatmeal in packets, (with nothing to put in it), some yogurt and fruit juice in refrig. We have stayed in other Quality Inns and had much better breakfast. The Quality Inn in Petaluma has a much better breakfast with hot items and more variety. It's a shame because the rest of our stay there was so nice.

Bed and Toilet too high. Food was limited. Not like other Quality Inn we have stayed at. Coffee, waffles, Bagels, juice, yogurt, Cheerios and a sugar cereal. No eggs, sausage or any protein. Could hear the traffic all night.
