The kids had a blast in the pool. The breakfast was one of the best my family has been to in a while, and we look forward to coming back to stay again

Room was just ok. Noisy if you have loud people. But good for a night.

I paid $188.59 for a one-night stay at the Best Western Plus Northwoods Inn in Crescent City, and my experience was extremely disappointing. My room had no hot water the evening I arrived. The following morning, I was unable to take a hot shower before leaving for work. At approximately 5:30 a.m., I contacted the front desk, only to be told that maintenance was unavailable. After being asked to repeat troubleshooting steps I had already performed, the conversation ended with an apology. No alternative room, functioning shower, or practical solution was offered. Mechanical failures happen. What I find unacceptable is the complete lack of effort to accommodate a paying guest when something goes wrong. This is the hospitality industry, and providing basic comfort and responsive service should be fundamental. I subsequently emailed the general manager requesting compensation. Rather than receiving a meaningful response to my email, I received a generic reply through Best Western's review system that acknowledged my concerns but completely ignored my request for a refund or adjustment. I have since escalated the matter to Best Western Customer Relations. Nearly $190 for a room without hot water, no meaningful assistance from the front desk, and an unsatisfactory response from management. A clean room means little when basic amenities fail and the hotel makes no effort to resolve the problem. I expected considerably better from Best Western.
