This was our second stay here and it was as wonderful as the first. The staff is very helpful and on top of things. The rooms are clean and comfortable, while the beds are just right for a good night's sleep. The walls are thick and we didn't hear any neighbors at all. There are several pillows of different types on the beds so you are pretty sure to find one that will suit your needs. The sink was a little odd, because the handles for the water taps are in a strange position, making it difficult to turn on the water. In order to turn on the cold water, you first had to turn on the hot. The soaps and lotions are great quality and smell wonderful. Plenty of towels, and towels are available at pool side. Hot tub was hot and comfortable. Pool is deep and warm, and plenty of room to swim or just float. I love this place and will be returning next month.

Easy and quick check in, free and convenient parking, beautiful venue and pool. AC really wasn’t cooling the room, slept warmer than I would have preferred. Other than that, absolutely zero complaints! Wonderful stay!!

The hotel had several nice features including the swimming pool, fire pit (with supplies for s'mores) and a dining area for breakfast and dinner. Sitting outside at meals with a view in the distance of Tuscon was great. There were also several restaurants in walking distance.

Front desk professional. Outdated property in need of attention. Pool area dirty and the pool was falling apart. They give day passes to families with 10 kids. Pool is far too small to expect to share with day passes. So disappointing!! Won’t return.

Our family needed a hotel because our A/C unit went out and our home was unbearably hot. La Posada was a perfect little staycation for us and we loved our room. The beds were very comfortable. We only have one small critique is that the pool is gorgeous and heated but the heating made the water too warm to enjoy fully on a super hot day. The temperature of the pool was the same as the hot tub. We were told it was a system glitch that didn’t adjust the temp but we worked through it and still had fun. Besides that, we had a great stay.

When I arrived the room said it had been cleaned. It wasn’t. The sheets were dirty and there was blood on them. They made the bed like it had been cleaned but it had not been done and still gave me the room. They decided to move me to another room in which was occupied by another couple. Finally the 3rd room is what I should have received from the beginning.

Hotel is well located in a nice area of the city, however we had a terrible experience with a front desk staff member, she showed a rude attitude. The room wasn’t clean; we found hair on the bed, trace of finger nails on the floor, a potato chip between the sheets and drink leftovers on the fridge. A pitty, we used to stay there a few years ago and it was great, not anymore.

I booked and paid for a specific room, but was given a completely different one that was outdated, dirty, and not at all what I expected. The room hadn’t been properly cleaned—there were stains on the sheets, dirt in the corners, and mold in the shower. After complaining, I was moved to a “nicer” room, but it was even worse. The carpet was peeling up, the entire room smelled like cigarette smoke, and the mattress had visible urine stains. Extremely disappointing experience. This place needs a serious deep cleaning and better quality control. Looks way better online.

This place needs some serious people that want to take care of guests and room housekeeping is none existent . Not once in five days did they come to our room. The hot tub was full of flys60-100 we had to net them out our selves!! Bar is good! Breakfast is soso at best.

This place is cute for sure. The balcony was unexpected and adorable. It was a little loud due to the proximity of what seemed like a fairly major road but overall it wasn’t bad. Probably the worst shower we had had in our 8 days in Arizona though and that is saying a lot for a beautiful state full of terrible showers. The breakfast was also diabolical but honestly don’t eat breakfast at your hotel when travelling. You can do better.

Gorgeous courtyard and pool. The rooms have charming hand painted murals reminiscent of Mexican caballeros. The sinks are tiled in bright colors. The shower was surprisingly bigger than it would seem. The view was stunning, which is really surprising because its in the middle of the city, but there is a huge wash/riparian area behind the hotel where yiu can see all the way to the beautiful Catalina mountains. Hotel was very clean, the lobby has beautiful art work. Staff was amazing. The hotel's restaurant, the Gringo provides their food and it is really good. Endless mimisoas during complimentary breakfast! This hotel feels more like a resort, but with "motel-like" rooms.

As soon as we got to the hotel there was a problem with our room so we had to switch. Granted it was a bigger room but they shouldn’t have a mistake as soon as we got there. We called front desk 6 times and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. The Wi-Fi didn't work so if you wanted Wi-Fi you had to go outside until you got a Signal.When we went to the pool it was extremely dirty. There was algae growing in the pool which is very unsafe for families. Also because of the bad Wi-Fi the tv wouldn’t work.The drainage was either damaged or clogged so you would just stand there in dirty water while taking a shower. The Ceiling fan was loose and it would shake and made clacking sounds. The mattress on the sofa bed had blood looking stains, where my daughter was supposed to sleep.

The staff provided greay service. The rooms were needing repair and renovations. The patio door locked but didn’t close all the way. We had to stick something in the door to get it to close. The front into the room gaped as well and we could hear everything outside. They were willing for us tonchange rooms but we decided to stay in the same room. It was a nice stay but definitely could have used some upkeep.

We love our stays at La Posada! The view from the onsite restaurant is superb, the complimentary breakfasts delicious, and the grounds are very well kept. During the hot summer months in AZ the small ACs in the casitas have a hard time keeping the units cool but, other than that, the property, and staff are delightful.

When I arrived at 1pm, they upcharged me $30 to check in early. The front desk woman was rude and seemed to enjoy the power of denying my early check in despite the hotel being empty. This place was awesome. It is on a main street with lots of places that are convenient for vacation (dining, fuel, car wash, groceries) It has that great Southwestern look and our first words were “whoa” and it stayed that nice. The big lobby doors open automatically and it is very inviting. The check in kid was very friendly and efficient. Our room was on the same level as the lobby and we had a private balcony that overlooked the swim are with tall trees swaying and mountain views. The breakfast was fantastic and they offered unlimited mimosas. It was clean and the bathroom sink was so unique I had to take a picture. We said we would always stay there again if back in Tucson and highly recommend it.

Loved the view and the variety of options for the breakfast buffet. Also enjoyed how it was centrally located to everything in the city. Didn’t like how small the bathroom was and the lack of ventilation. The shower also didn’t drain correctly because the slope of the flooring. Water was ankle high after 2 minutes every time you take a shower.

Beautiful pool and courtyard area. Room was clean, very quiet, the walls are brick so you definitely can’t hear anything from the room next door. We loved the deck and pool and had a swim in the pool at night under a full moon. Magic. The breakfast was excellent and we ate on restaurant deck overlooking the courtyard. We rented the the king suite and found the size of the room to be smaller than expected (and smaller than what looks online). It was just the size of any regular room. The breakfast was average (tasteless eggs, sausage were good but on the second day they ran out). The worse thing was that lot of people that were not staying in the hotel were at the pool. The pool deck was overcrowded, lots of people and kids throwing balls. We talked to several kids that they told us they were not guests, they just come to enjoy the pool. That was very disappointing and made our experience on the only amenity the hotel offered rather uncomfortable. Also, they need to put curtain in the bathroom window in the suite, in the morning the sun hits you in the face when you are in bed (sunrise was around 5:15 am).

It’s a quiet, safe environment. Very clean and the front lobby staff were very kind and helpful. The restaurant is not good. Slow service (a total 5 people in the restaurant), and the food is average at best. It has the potential to be good, but the bad service was the first impression. We waited for a server, and after several minutes we had to get our own menus. Server never checked on us or ask us for refills. Again, it was at night the restaurant was not busy.

Place was noisy, even up to 12am, people chatting next room. Pool had no towels and was not attended to make sure everything is Ok. breakfast was lacking a lot of the items available prior day (no orange juice, no fruits, no hot water for tea). Absolutely loved this place. Not knowing much about Tucson, I was looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced place for a few days. Don’t let the price fool you, this place is AMAZING (and were it in a larger city, it would be at least twice as much). The staff, amazingly friendly and helpful, the grounds so well maintained and just beautiful. The free breakfast, while typical, is above average. The only caveat, is it’s a bit far out of town, but that didn’t bother me in the least. If I ever get back to Tucson, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else….

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if I would have had maid service both days I asked for it. Also, there was something wrong with the elevator that genuinely had me in a panic. The staff however was friendly and the assistant manager did comp us $50 for the lack of maid service when we checked out. Great food, drinks, and a lovely swimming pool with music vibes. Overall our stay was great and I would come back again.

Property and pool was nice. However, the restaurant & bar were not good at all. Both kitchen & bar order were wrong. No chicken on the taco salad. After 30 minutes of waiting to receive the protein, just gave up. Our mojitos were sent back & fixed due to the soda was flat. Only to be double charged. The bartender did refund the correct price. Do not stay here!! We had to change rooms at 1045pm because the ac wasn't working. Moved to a new room and that actually worked but sounded like something was trying to come thru the wall. 2. Breakfast food was all cold. Sausage, eggs, French toast, potatoes...all cold. Coffee was warm. Ugh. 3. Went down to pool area to use the jacuzzi to relax my tension and the jacuzzi was cold. NEVER AGAIN. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in this property. Very old rooms. Toilets are for people 4ft and shorter.
