Comfort Inn & Suites Taylor - Detroit

This Comfort inn location is very good. Super clean, comfortable beds. For the price you couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was average, but tons of it and hot. Location to Detroit Airport is awesome. Took me 5 minutes to take my car back to the rental place and was at the airport 10 minutes later. Nice indoor pool. If you're looking for a quick overnight in a clean, comfortable place...look no further

Our room had 2 queen beds. The room was clean and the mattresses were a bit soft but comfortable. The water pressure in the sink was very low. We would stay here again.

Our five-night stay was a mixed experience. I want to be fair about the circumstances: the area experienced extreme weather during our stay, which caused the power outage and loss of cable. We also had mud coming up through the sink drain, which appeared to be storm-related. Those issues were frustrating but understandable. The bigger problem was housekeeping and communication between staff. We were there for five nights and should have received housekeeping service at least once. We were told rooms were serviced on the third day, but when that didn’t happen, we asked about it and followed up several times. Still, our room was never serviced. It seemed there was a breakdown in communication between the overnight staff, daytime staff, and management. We would explain the situation to one person, but the information didn’t appear to be passed along, so there was no follow-through. By the end of our stay, we had accumulated a lot of trash and had no fresh towels or toilet paper. We shouldn’t have had to repeatedly ask for basic necessities. I understand the hotel was dealing with unusual circumstances because of the weather, but better communication and a simple shift-to-shift handoff could have prevented most of this. The lack of housekeeping and follow-through significantly affected our stay.
