The bell boys and cart drivers were very friendly. Housekeeping was always prompt. The grounds are impeccable and beautiful. The people who happened to assist us at check-in and at the Cafe did not seem particularly happy to be at their jobs. Also, the breakfast buffet is WAY overpriced… $24 for cold eggs and bacon and pre-packaged quality “pastries”. But, we love the resort and the pools!

Great overall stay. A little mix up at check-in, and was originally given the wrong kind of room. Was quickly remedied once brought to the staff’s attention. The grounds were beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very enjoyable, even with the colder weather during our trip. The room was clean and spacious. All staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again.

I’ve stayed at 4 hotels in the last month. None of them were resorts. This is the first hotel that had a big in the bed. So that was interesting. The more expensive hotel having a big in the bed and debris along the wall like they didn’t vacuum the borders.

Two things that were not so great is the gift shop closed way too early and no vending machine options were available which was inconvenient. Also a storm knocked out power for about 90 minutes in the morning and after the lights were up, for about 30 minutes, the breakfast was not available, which I suppose makes sense but I'm surprised that the hotel did not have a generator.
