The hot tub didn't work. It took aprox 10 minutes before 1 jet started to work. The other jets never worked. Didn't buy the breakfast, $10.99 but hardly anything to choose from.

Very nice hotel, outdoor area was well laid out with the hot tub next to pool and had nice cabanas with a bar close by. The room was a nice plush bed with great pillows. And the shower pressure was amazing. The bathroom layout was nice and big also. We drove 11 minutes to a nice restaurant that apparently will be closing this May.

Room was clean and nice. I loved the location so close to the freeway (101). Staff was very nice and cordial. Parking lot was convenient and free. We would definitely consider staying there again if we decide to travel to the Scottsdale, AZ area.

I have always stayed at this hotel when I fly into Scottsdale. In fact, so do my co-workers and the stay has always been great. This time they informed me at check in that there was no hot water and there would be no discounts or comps. They said I could "take it as is or not". The Starbucks coffee machine was "out of order" and evidently had been for weeks. I was surprised at their attitude and asked if they were going to include breakfast or anything. Again, the response was "as per the manager you can take as is or not". There were 2 women checking out and they asked to be reimbursed for thier stay as they had been assured the hot water would be out temporarily and it had been 2 days. The response: "well, the amenities are working". When asked what amenities they were told the pool and hot tub. Never again with this hotel.

Went to check in Thursday ,6/6/24. Was told by front desk that they had called me. I had no calls. They then proceed to inform me that the hot water is out and they do not know when it will be repaired, it may not be until that Monday. They also said that as per the manager, there will be no discounts or comps. While this is happening, 2 women next to me are checking out and asking for a refund. They were told no as the pool and hot tub were fine. The women yelled that she would be disputing this with her credit card. Ridiculous. Took an Uber and stayed at the nearby Hilton.

hallway carpet dirty all floors, weird guy and stares working front desk, poor and crowded bed and furniture in room, not even a basic desk chair to sit on as have bad back. tipped house cleaning to change my pillow cases and sheets, better but still not what one would expect for price and a 9 rating??? noisy hallway. Would not choose to stay her again. Sad for best western,

The pepople were nice at check in . Cleanliness of the room wasnt the best. There was a bug in the bed and hair on the top bedspread abd the sheets between. I called thr front desk and she came and changed the bed and apologized. They didnt offer andthing to make it up which is fine but u think they would have.

The location was convenient and centrally located. I liked the renovated room however the shower area had mold in the grout that needed to be replaced. Otherwise a decent room. They never came to clean and we stayed 3 nights. Not even to remove garbage. The pool area was nice however the pool was overrun by children and teens without parents. The staff should ensure that an adult is present for children. There were kids jumping from the waterfalls into the pool and I had to raise my voice and have them stop. Overall, a good hotel for the price but if they cleaned better and policed the pool a bit it could rate much better. Lastly, not really a diamond snob but not even a free water or snack on check in, or even an acknowledgement.

The doors to enter the bathroom are terrible. Why would you have a rolling barn door that gives no sense of privacy for the entrance to the bathroom.

Everything was great except the first night. The sofa bed mattress was super old and bent from all corners and middle. It looked like it was crumbled and put back on. We were on the first floor had to pay almost $400 for the night. The bar was soooo loud we could hear people as if they were in the room with us. It was past midnight and they were still being so loud from the lobby and the pool side. Then around 6am breakfast time was super aloud AGAIN! I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE NIGHT none of us slept, my mom besides having to sleep in a terrible mattress could not sleep either from all the people screaming outside in the pool area. The next day we switched rooms to a higher level at half the price and was phenomenal.

Room 123 bathroom was wacko. The faucet in the sink was too close to the bowl, so when I washed my hands, the water went onto the bathroom counter, and then onto the floor. The toilet was also too close to the counter, barely missing the sharp corner many times.

This, on balance, is an acceptable property. Rooms are fine with one caveat, water pressure is marginal at best. Beds are comfortable and amenities are generally good. We have stayed there twice in last month and have same complaint. Both times we were asked at checkin how often we wanted housekeeping, both times we requested daily. Neither time did we receive it. Both times we got the same lame excuse that there was no note requesting that service. Really. Seems like they have no intention of providing that daily service. My question, then why ask? Aggravating. We have to return in two weeks and have chosen another hotel.

Breakfast was not included. Also, they demanded a $150 deposit for amenities. I had to call the hotel to release the deposit because they were still holding it 2 days after checkout. Also, the checkout receipt didn't print properly and didn't include their phone number.

I stay at this hotel every three weeks. I have never had a problem and everyone has just been amazing. This week the new young girls that work the front desk are completely rude. When checking out I had asked for a receipt which they said they couldn’t provide and when I walked out they started laughing. It’s been the same young girl every morning and while leaving for my day I always tell her to have a great day and never got a response from her! Everyone else has been wonderful but these two just killed it for me.

It seemed like a really good value for the area. It’s very close to Taliesin West, which I knew I was going to visit. Also bookstore, gas stations, food options. Pretty much started by professional building buildings and shopping centers. Nice outdoor area with family turf area plus pool. Quiet with a comfortable bed. Nicely appointed bathroom with shower. (No tub).

The only thing that disappointed me was that this hotel had a restaurant but it wasn’t included in the stay cost. I’m sure that this hotel has the money, and not to cover the small cost of a free breakfast is just a money grabbing shame. The hotel would have been perfect if it wasn’t for that. It’s expensive enough to travel, why can’t your company afford to supply a free breakfast for all of their guests and not just a few. I’ll have to rethink my booking with this the next time I’m looking for a place to stay.

I liked many things but I did not like that breakfast was not included. I have stayed at Best Westerns in Surprise, AZ--Peoria, AZ--Bryce Canyon City, AZ--one in Oregon (do not remember the city--all of them included breakfast (eggs, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt)--nothing super fancy but you could grab a bite before heading out for the day-- Everything else about the hotel was nice.

We stayed here three nights and I would think for the price they could do some service to your room maybe dump the trash give you an extra towel. Breakfast costs an extra $10.99 a person which other hotels offer the same food for free! All 3 mornings I went to get some coffee and 2 of the 3 days it was empty by 8:15am. They have a Starbucks in the lobby that is never open which would have been nice. It was a very clean hotel never talked with the staff except for check in and she was very nice!

Such an amazing property! We loved the pool, the breakfast and the bar! The bar staff were unreal and the chef was great! We will for sure be back and we already came back during our trip again bc we loved it so much! Thanks for everything! Beds and pillows were a dream! I wonder what beds they have. Also, they serve Starbucks pike roast! So good!!

Front desk was great, didnt ask for room service but bumped into them in the hall and they were all super friemdly too. Great breakfast, nice little store in lobby came in handy too.
