Stayed 2 nights

Rules of travel: most your stay is room central, get the luxury room. Cheap rooms are for entertainment centered travels. We booked the two room suite because most our stay was going to be in the room. We have kids and we don’t want to be bothered, yes we need the kitchen. Perfect room for our needs. The hotel is beautiful, clean, friendly, close to everything, downtown 10 mins away. Food and groceries a walk across the street. The room was gorgeous. We had zero issues with the room. In fact, it was better than the second room. The bed was the reason for the room swap. The king bed in the first suite was horrible. That mattress was old, broken springs, stained. They couldn’t swap mattresses so they swap rooms. The other room was clearly an older room. It was stank like mildew and must. The toilet seat was broken. We went from top floor to the middle. We went from what looked like the most renovated side of the hotel, to the older side. We left the windows open the rest of the stay. The only reason we didn’t complain is they refunded us the first night. Our other party also hated their beds in their separate 1st floor room. 3rd party users like hotels.com, this is one of those hotels that will tell you there’s nothing they can do if you don’t like your room. That’s complete horsesh’t, it’s their hotel, don’t let them lie to you. You have to call your 3rd party and they call the hotel for PERMISSION before you have anything done. It’s all show. Better beds, we come back

I would not stay at this hotel. It's dirty, old, and just flat-out gross! There are stains on the wall, the sheets are dirty, and it smells. It has positive reviews; I'm not sure if that is fake because there is no way this has 4 stars maybe 0.1.
