Old style outdoor hotel, no elevators. We were on the 2nd floor around the back. My husband wears a knee brace and had to hobble up and down the stairs with luggage. The WiFi was barely available where our room was located. Most of the time my phone just buffered. Even in the lobby, the WiFi wasn't great. The cell service is also sketchy in the area, so we resorted to taking screenshots of maps when we were in an area with service. That being said, the pool and hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good, and the staff was hard working and friendly. There is shaded parking and plenty of it. It is the most reasonably priced hotel I found in the Sedona area. Still a couple hundred a night but a good price for the area.

Facilities were having new roof installed on all buildings, made for some parking and access confusion BUT, the work was done quickly and cleanly, the stay was great, the free breakfast was outstanding with very good rotating menu options daily, there were 2 or 3 minor issues with our room (basic wear and tear) the front desk accepted the issues with a smile and genuine concern for addressing them, only big issue was the sole ice machine was out of order for 4 straight days. Appearance wise, the sidewalks need a good serious pressure washing.

This hotel is easy to get to, and located just a few miles from the Old Town area of Cottonwood. All of the staff members we interacted with were exceptionally friendly. Room itself is nothing special, but everything worked. One nice touch was that the room A/C was on when we got there, so we didn't have to wait an hour before the room became bearable. Another very nice thing about this place is that they have some covered parking. This is very rare for a chain hotel in this price range. Given how sunny and hot Arizona can get in the Summer, this is highly appreciated. Only real downside to this hotel is the dismal breakfast, which has too many faults to list here. But it does suffice if all one wants is to stuff something edible into their stomach. Despite the very poor breakfast, we would definitely consider staying again if we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again.

Property is very clean and well maintained. Kids and I loved the pool and hot tub. Convenient washer/dryer with laundry soap available on site. Not too far from the Verde Canyon railroad. Breakfast was hot and ready each morning before our adventures.

We checked in at 3:00 and an hour later, another family opened our door. They had been given the same room by mistake. Things were rectified, but we had to have our keys fixed, because we couldn’t get back in our room. Also, the air conditioning is loud, the fridge has an odd smell, and the Wi-Fi connection is poor. My friend’s dog just passed away at home and he couldn’t even have a clear video conversation with his family. Overall, this was a disappointing stay.

The hotel was adequate. The sink drained poorly. The vending machine gave me the wrong product. But the biggest issue was the staff woman at the dront desk. She seemed as if my existence was an inconvenience to her. Zero friendliness. Zero personality. Just didn't want to be there nor did she care about doing her job well. Love the Best Western Cottonwood! The staff were very pleasant and handled our door lock snafu quickly and professionally without having to change rooms which was super convenient. I kind of felt like i was an impossible guest but every time the staff came through with extra blanket, spa help and even hot water for tea during check in. Very enjoyable and will be back!!!

The Best Western in Cottonwood was delightful. We would come here again, definitely. Much more enjoyable than the Las Vegas hotel on the strip we came from.

The property was easy to find and conveniently located to stores and restaurants. Our room was quiet. We stayed two nights and slept well both nights. The carpet could use a good cleaning, but the room was clean other than that. The breakfast offered plenty of choice, but the hot selection was cold the first morning, OK the second. Staying anywhere has become something we don't do as often as we once did, value for money is subjective as everywhere is over-priced. For the price we payed here, we used to get much more, but I guess this is a sign of the times and as such we will probably travel less. As there were very few people staying either night, we are probably not alone in our thoughts.

A great little motel for an overnight stay. This is not a new property. That being said, it was clean and fulfilled all our needs. We did not use the pool as it was a cold day in Northern Arizona. The complementary breakfast was great! Plenty of variety and was quite filling. The coffee was tasty. Should the need arise we may stay here again.

We stayed one night, and was looking forward to using the hot tub. Due to some locals who showed up at the hot tub and pool and were drinking, that wasn’t possible. They were there until closing and then went to their vehicles and left. The property is very dated and is reflected in the rooms. The beds in the room are extremely hard and the bathrooms very small. The only reason we stayed here was for the pool and hot tub and it wasn’t worth it.

This was a simple overnight stay in order to be able to explore Jerome the next day. Check in was simple and smooth. Staff friendly. We ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant right adjacent to the hotel and it was great too! The room we stayed in was spacious and clean and comfortable. I did inform the front desk though that there was a safety hazard at the pool. The silver hand pole that you use to enter the swimming pool came right up out of the concrete and almost put me off balance. Hopefully that will be repaired pronto. Nice quick breakfast included in the morning was also pleasant.
