What guests think

At Spark by Hilton North Little Rock, travellers frequently highlight very clean, modern-feeling rooms and comfortable beds, plus convenient, well lit parking and a location near shops and eateries, though several mention thin walls and noticeable noise from other guests.

Breakfast is generally simple with limited variety and mostly cold or reheated items, and coffee quality varies. Service is often friendly and helpful, but reports include rude or unresponsive interactions, prank phone calls, and surprise deposits at check in. Rooms feel minimalist, with few or no chairs and commonly no in room coffee makers or microwaves, and the indoor pool is sometimes cold or out of order. Overall, this is a good value stop for short stays if you are fine with basic amenities and a modest breakfast.

Very close to McCay mall and all the amenities and auctions is there and shops and have gym and the only thing I didn’t like was the pool was a little cold, but it was nice once you got used to. It wasn’t as bad as I thought I’ve stayed there a couple twice now or three times so I definitely enjoyed it.

We came to Little Rock for a concert, checked in, changed clothes, and left for the evening. When we came back after midnight there were ants crawling all over the nightstand and headboard. Front desk clerk was nice enough, but said the hotel was full, but he'd bring some bug spray. He took awhile bringing the spray, but then I had to spray the room? For over $180 for one night, I expected a bug free room. The gentleman apologized but made no effort to do anything other than bring me bug spray. I've been a Hilton Honors member for years, and this is not the experience I usually have. Bugs are NOT acceptable.

Our stay here was really good. The staff were very nice. The only thing that was unexpected about our stay, we could hear the guest walking and moving around in the room above us, which was pretty loud. Not sure if this is due to there not being carpet on the floor to help tone down the noise.

The overall stay was okay. Positives: The staff were pleasant, and the hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. The negatives: The rooms were very uncomfortable, just to be in, there are no chair you have to just sit on the bed. Even with the air on it was hot in the rooms. The indoor pool was extremely cold and isn't enjoyable due to the coldness. The breakfast is a joke of a breakfast. The dining area was extremeley hot. You have to ask for everything even down to a garbage bag. It is not the worst I have stayed at, but for the price it could have been much better. Oh and don't forget the surprise 200.00 deposit fee for two rooms. after the rooms had been paid in full prior to arrival. Which is not a big deal but should be posted prior to room rental .

Place was fine for one night. I was traveling alone and didn’t need anything but a decent bed. It was clean and nicely kept. My concerns include the thin walls adding to the noise resulting in loss of sleep. The other concern is the busy traffic pattern, it’s hard to get in and out of the parking lot at times. Not bad for the price.

No chairs. Not one. They have a kids stool ypu can sit on with no back support. GIANT empty space that could hold the missing chair or even 2 or a sofa! Then they are selling Ramen soup in a hotel room with no microwave. There is a space for a microwave, but they cheaped out. If you only need a bed and a tv youre good here.

Not as advertised. Reserved a king suite and the description said it had refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker in room. It only had a refrigerator. If you wanted to use a microwave you had to use the only one in the building which was located in the lobby. Not furnished for comfort in either the lobby or guest room (suite) Not up to “Hilton” standards.

UNPLUG THE ROOM PHONE. I stopped here during a long and stressful drive. I got a call at 4:30 in the morning. I called the front desk and all they could say is that the calls were not from the Hilton (which the caller said they were.) Took me a long time to fall asleep and couldn’t help but noticing the noisy 18-wheeler serving the Chick-filla next door, which stayed for maybe 2 hrs. Shortly after I fell asleep, the same person called again. When I left the hotel, I mentioned this to the manager and he said many guests received prank calls thru the night and they couldn’t tell who it was because it was from within the hotel. So Spark saved a few dollars by not having caller Id on their room phones, and made themselves vulnerable to this kind of extremely unpleasant customer experience. I will consider staying at a Spark again, but I will unplug the phone from the wall during my stay.
