What guests think

At Baymont by Wyndham Caddo Valley/Arkadelphia, travelers consistently note friendly, accommodating staff and generally comfortable rooms in a convenient location just off I-30, though recurring highway noise can be intrusive depending on room placement.

Cleanliness earns many compliments, but several guests report inconsistencies including bathroom mold, lingering smoke or musty smells, and occasional bugs. Breakfast feedback is mixed, ranging from satisfying hot options to limited or poorly prepared items that aren't always replenished. Facilities are basic with a pool and pet-friendly policies, yet the fitness room is sometimes out of order and access doors or elevators can need attention. Best suited to road trippers seeking a straightforward, good-value stop, especially if road noise won't bother you.

Just ok. It’s fine for a place to lay your head at night, but won’t stay here again. Pros: right off highway, good coffee, quiet in room. Cons: mold on shower curtain, not a ton of breakfast choices (was decent, but expected more choices), one of the plugs on the lamp beside the bed did not work, treadmill in exercise room did not work (well kind of did but would stop randomly which is actually a hazard and a good way for people to hurt themselves).

It was clean. Always smelled very clean and it had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Two beds and a pullout couch worked well for us! The pool was great too. Was never crowded. Decently close to the Crater of Diamonds! VERY close to I30. And has decent restaurants close by as well as fast food. Walmart wasn’t too far away either.

This property charges 150 for half cleaned rooms, subpar breakfast, and the pool doesn’t even work. Honestly, I should have been refunded for half the money since I received HALF the amenities. Will not stay again nor do I recommend anyone else to stay here.

Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Room Was clean. My only complaint, would be the doors on the side of the building (fire exit doors) would not shut completely unless pushed or pulled to. Anyone could have walked in at any time and had complete access. Other than that we were happy. Major plus that it was pet friendly too!

The front desk staff were kind and hospitable. The iron worked really well. We checked in at the this hotel on September 27 the temperatures were in the mid 90’s. We were hoping to take a swim in the pool after our long drive to relax. We were disappointed to find the pool covered by a large tarp. The hotel owner had already closed the pool for the season. It would have been nice if that fact were mentioned on the website where the nice picture of the pool was displayed. If you really want a good night’s sleep, I don’t recommend this hotel. This location doesn’t seem to have any sound proofing. The highway noise was so loud we barely slept at all. We had both of our white noise apps projecting at full volume and the bathroom fan on, but the noise was still too much. I had paid in advance for two nights at this hotel that had very high ratings. I expected Wyndham quality. Unfortunately, we left in the middle of the second night and started our drive home at 2:00 in the morning. I’ve stayed at other properties right beside highways before, but have never experienced anything like this. Also we could hear the people above us anytime they got out of bed. Their bed would creek, but that sound wasn’t unbearable like the highway noise. Also, the in room coffee was very poor quality.

Very limited parking. We pulled in with a uhaul, car in tow, with a pickup, motorcycles in tow. At first we were told to park in a separate lot where we could not see the vehicles.we said we'd have to go somewhere else. Attendant came out and approved our use of their parking lot in certain areas. Breakfast was very limited.

Killed roaches in our room from the moment we checked in until the moment we left, we were packing up to head out and another one was crawling on the bed we just slept in. I sprayed Lysol, wiped everything down with disinfectant wipes and everything because the room even had a weird smell when we first got there, not sure if it was because we were close above the dining area but I’ve never experienced a hotel having roaches!

Smelled very strong of urine in room and marijauna in the whole hotel. Bathroom was almost un useable. Had to hold breath, and always keep shoes on due to toe nail clippings in bathroom floor. The corners of the bathroom had dirt and hair… faucet had previous persons spit/splat all over, sides of toilets were DISGUSTING. Tv volume also didn’t work. Behind the microwave hasn’t been dusted in months if not a year.. It was almost midnight when we got in from driving 9+ hrs so I didn’t argue, I dealt with it and we went to sleep. When we checked out this morning I expressed my concerns, was told a manager would contact me.. I haven’t been contacted

The positives are the breakfast and the bed were comfortable. The negative is that we were unable to sleep due to the highway noise. The property is situated 60 yards from the highway. Our bed literally shook. It was so loud! It is a very busy highway. Not even the extra pillows over your head helped. If you stay definitely ask to be at the furthest end from the highway. I believe we deserve a significant discount or a refund. When I asked at the desk for compensation, I was told it is a problem but I would have to try and contact management. Disappointed with my stay.

I was in desperate need of transportation to the airport an hour away a Sunday afternoon so my daughter and I could get back to Texas for school and work on Monday. No Uber or Lyfts were responding. Basically in tears, I asked the young male housekeeping attendant, who then asked his manager, who then asked the maintenance man, who then asked his friends, a really nice couple, if they'd be willing to drive me to the airport for a reasonable fee. They arrived within minutes and I was able to make my flight on time. My only regret is not getting the names of each staff member I mentioned. They turned my desperate situation into one where I was reminded that on a personal level people of different ages, races, and beliefs really can work together to help a person in need. Thank you so much to the staff at the Baymont!!!! I made it home because of you ALL!!!!!

This was a great location just off the Highway with easy access to get on and off. It was also close to several restaurants and gas stations. The room was spacious and comfortable. The premises were clean and neat. The breakfast however was disappointing. The eggs were oval-shaped yellow patties with an orange center. The sausage links were great misshapen mini-logs. They looked most unappetizing. I did not eat them but I’m told that they were not as bad as they looked. I had cereal. Also, I’m allergic to strawberries. I would have eaten a yogurt, but there was only one flavor available. Of course it included strawberries.
