Pool not operating. Didn’t feel like it was very safe. Some kind of construction workers sitting on curb all evening. Some yelling outside later in evening. Gave us a room on 2nd floor & after carrying luggage up entered room to find only one bed! 4of us & suppose to have two queen beds! Lugged all luggage back down 2flights of steps back to office in 98degree heat, not good for Senior citizens! I ask for a room on first floor so we didn’t have to carry luggage up steps again. Then was given a room with 2 queen beds on first floor. Door to room only had the one lock, deadbolt did not work & extra security lock was missing. Attendants at desk were very nice but all said We would never stay here again.

Refurbished hotel was done VERY well. Don't let the outside bother you - it only needs a bit of an update, but not bad. My only complaint is not the hotel staff's fault. Someone was going thru the parking lot riding a VERY loud motorcycle several times - even after midnight. Then at about 4:15 am a delivery truck parked, opened up their huge back overhead door, slamed it shut and then made a LOT of noise getting to their room. It's SO aggravating. Some people don't care who they are bothering!!!

THIS HOTEL IS GOING THRU RENOVATION. PARKING WAS LIMITED. INTERNET DIDNT WORK FOR ONE DAY. NO YOGURT THE BREAKFAST WAS LIMITED.. NO EGGS TODAY AND FOOD WAS DELIVERED ON WEDNESDAY. SO LITTLE LEFT FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AND TODAY THERE WAS NO HOT WATER FOR MY SHOWER. THE HELP WAS NICE AND TRIED TO HELP BUT IF STUFF ISNT DELIVERED THEY CANT DO ANYTHING. I STAY AT LAQUINTA ALL THE TIME BUT WOULD NOT GO BACK TO THIS ONE.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the pool will be opened soon. Otherwise no complaints. The room was clean and updated with all amenities. The blow dryer is actually useful which can’t be said for most places. Would definitely recommend.

Traveling from Chicago suburbs to Gulf shores AL, we stopped to break our 17 hour drive…our reservation room had bright red blood streak on the sheets. So we asked to be moved. Room 2 had a knock you on your butt extreme smell of mold when walking in. The shower had black mold. We asked for a refund and left. We were also told there was no maid service to help with anything

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was newly renovated and relatively quiet, with nice blackout shades. We were there for a weekend long event at the Orion Amphitheatre and were able to sleep in. The location is also walking distance to the a Orion, though a good chunk of the walk is through parking lots and on the grass, but still walkable. Breakfast was pretty basic, but all that's needed. There are several great places to eat within walking distance as well. My only real complaint is the water pressure in the shower. I can only describe it as someone peeing on my head.

The rooms look they have been recently remodeled but not actually looked over to see if they’ve been completed. I had a floor room, with the door facing the outside. The TV didn’t work and the bathroom didn’t have a toilet paper holder mounted to the wall. We had to have a roll of toilet paper sitting on the counter which seems odd for a newly renovated room. The door also stuck and we had to double check it was closed at night, especially being on the ground level. Decent for a one night stay.

The room was very nice and clean! I absolutely loved the shower! The water pressure was fantastic! Wifi was nonexistant if there was supposed to be a password nobody told us anything about anything to do with Internet! We had someone randomly enter our room at about 10 which was frightening and in addition we had requested a late checkout however at about 1030 someone else knocked on our door wanting to know if we were checking out! We decided to go ahead and check out on time after that!

Hotel was cost efficient. The room I stayed in had leather chairs that were worn out and discolored. Good Internet though so I had no issues getting some work done. They were nice enough to already have the rooms AC set down to a comfortable level before we checked in.

Had to ask for room to be cleaned and to get clean towels and sheets. Was told they only do that every 3rd unless you ask. Since when did you have to ask fot service? What do you pay for then? Recommend you spend your money elalsewhere.

We showed up at the hotel at check in time (3pm) and they were overbooked and didn’t have us a room. We were told to come back in 30-40 minutes so they could get rooms cleaned. When we returned there were about 20 other people waiting in the lobby to check in and we were then told if you didn’t book your room thru the hotel we were not guaranteed a room. After waiting another 30-40 minutes and no room we finally cancelled and left. Worst experience I’ve ever had with any hotel.

I only stayed one night checked out sept 21. I paid $208 and half off that was a deposit that was told I would get back 5-7 businesses days well it’s now oct 2 it’s still pending and my deposit hasn’t came back when I called the actual hotel they were very rude and told me to wait even longer . All I want is my $100 deposit back which is crazy cause I have never had to pay $100 deposit for one night and chain hotel . I will not be back and I will tell anyone I can do go reserve a room here I promise you that

The front desk staff was wonderful. They were very kind to my kiddos and let them watch Scooby Doo when they had breakfast which was a highlight of their trip. The room was large and comfortable. It was a great trip.

This is my All Time GO TO whenever I need a home away from home. Friendly staff are always willing to lend a helping hand! From the staff at the front desk who welcome you with a smile upon arrival to Ms Inez, the breakfast coordinator, all deserve a 10 in my book!

This is an older hotel that has been completely redone. I love how I could park right outside my room and access my luggage easily. The staff went above and beyong. Truly a great value. Location is ideal for anything at the Orion!

The property was nice and very clean. The staff was great. The neighborhood seemed run down and there were vagrants in the adjacent parking lot. There wasn't enough parking close to the room. There was a closed restaurant right in front of where my room was and there were a group of men standing behind it - right where the only place for me to park was. I am not usually intimidated but it was dark and I was tired and just wanted to relax. This had me on high alert as my grandson was with me.

What I liked was the he pricing was reasonable, the handicap bathroom, and the area was decent. Beds could have been better, queen bed more like a full and only one mattress. The continental breakfast could have been better.

Great hotel. We arrived late after driving on for a weekend stay. Walking distance to Orion. Room was clean, housekeeping was fabulous. We enjoyed the includes breakfast. Would book this hotel again especially for the value pricing.
