What guests think

At Days Inn by Wyndham Alexander City, travelers highlight a convenient, walkable location, but reviews also note an older property with inconsistent cleanliness—from dirty floors to pests—and intermittent maintenance problems that affect comfort and reliability.

Rooms vary: several are spacious and comfortable or recently refreshed, while others feel dated or small and face traffic noise from the highway and nearby intersection. Service is frequently warm and accommodating, though reports include slow or inconvenient check-in, uneven responsiveness, and occasional accessibility oversights. Breakfast is available but often described as limited with a small area and modest choices. Expect a budget stay with great access and variable upkeep.

Ice maker was not working on lower property. Staff instructed without remorse to go to upper level. No excuses were given. When asked pool temperature staff said "I have not been in the pool, so I don\'t know".

Outside nicely kept. Housekeeping was horrible. Was there 4 days with no housekeeping done. Had to ask for toilet paper trash bags and to have my linens changed and beds made. Manager was accommodating when I asked but I was told that housekeeping cleaned my room according to log. This certainly was not the case. Also had an outdoor pool that we weren’t allowed to use. No reason given

First of all, the A/C was cranked very high like I like and the room w as very cool upon entry... that's a plus for me! Room appeared to be newly remodeled. Bed was not too firm, not too soft. Papa Bear was happy. Pillows were firm like I like, and towels were newish. Everything functioned properly and was great for my business stay. Floor treatment clicked everywhere, but was not obtrusive. Ice machine was empty when I arrived, but I checked in very late. I went to the front office and the sweet lady tending gave me a full bag of ice.

The closet had cabinet doors instead of normal door. You had to open the upper and lower door to get clothes on/off the rod. The divider between the doors blocked access to the clothes rod. Bed frames had weird sheet metal around it that was too close to edge of mattress so you were constantly bumping with feet making loud noise that can be heard in adjoining rooms.

The room and furnishings were great. The only complaints I have is 1. Checkin took an awfully long time because the desk staff moves VERY SLOW, she's sweet but slow, 2. There wasn't an ashtray in the smoking room and 3. Housekeeping left trash in the floor and left an empty toilet paper roll in the bathroom. Overall a nice stay except for a few small issues. Will stay again.

We stayed at this location because of a convenience in our travels. The stay was ok. The bathroom was not clean- dirt on the walls. There was plumbing issues, and it was a game of how to acclimate the shower water temperature. There was a scrabble by staff to provide us more than two towels when we were booked for four staying. We had to request restocking of breakfast items and wipe the tables ourselves before using. It was a one night stay as it was a stop in our travels, but I will not book again if we travel that way.
