Overall, the property is nice and most of the staff were very friendly, but the experience did not fully match the price point or five-star rating. Food was about a 3/5. The tostadas by the pool and at Flora Bar were the highlight, and the burger spot was good, but overall the food was average for a Mexican all-inclusive at this price. Restaurant service was also very slow despite the resort not seeming very full, and there were limited options later in the evening. I also found the coffee situation odd: Organic & Co. charges separately for coffee at almost U.S.-level prices, while lattes and espresso are included at other restaurants. For an all-inclusive resort with unlimited food and alcohol, that inconsistency was strange. We also had an uncomfortable bar experience. After only one shot, we were told we could have just one more because of a supposed “two-shot policy,” while mixed drinks were still allowed. The hotel later confirmed they could not identify any published policy like that. The rooms were nice, spacious, and comfortable, around a 3.5–4/5, but the scratched bathtub did not feel five-star. There is definitely potential, but the service inconsistencies and operations need improvement.

The staff was amazing- and so was Palma, particularly for breakfast- they don’t have a single up end restaurant- also no access to tennis and pickle ball other than between noon and 5 pm( which is unbearable due to temperature- very dissatisfied with the “all inclusive” options, particularly when compared with other similar resorts we stayed at-
