Buenas instalaciones, atención cordial durante el check in y check out, muy ágil. Camas y almohadas cómodas (si te gustan suaves), habitación muy amplia, por lo que considero buena relación calidad/precio. Dentro del lobby hay venta de cafés de Starbucks. Los únicos 2 aspectos que no me agradaron es que tienen un estacionamiento muy limitado y cada vez que uno llega y sale hay que dejar el auto con el valet parking del hotel e ir a sellar un boleto a la recepción. El otro aspecto que al no conocer el área no tuve contemplado es que no me daba sensación de seguridad caminar por la noche en los alrededores, se percibia solitario, intenté llegar caminando al barrio antiguo pero mejor me regresé no me sentía segura, fuera de eso me pareció muy buena opción el hotel, no tengo queja. WiFi funciona bien, amenidades en la habitación como botella de agua, gorra de baño, secadora, muy completo. Si por algún motivo necesitas quedarte cerca del centro es buena opción y además está a practicamente 1 cuadra de Ave. Constitución.

La propiedad no cuenta con estacionamiento como se menciona, tienen convenio con un establecimiento cercano y obligatoriamente tienes que usar al valet parking y eso es muy incómodo si estas pensando en entrar y salir constantemente. Sentí que las cobijas están ya un poco viejas, me tocaron las toallas sucias y manchadas y lo noté ya demasiado tarde. Solo me quedé una noche, por el detalle del estacionamiento y valet no pude entrar y salir como prentedía, tuve que ajustarme para solo regresar en la noche y no volver a salir hasta el día siguiente. Creo que consideraré otra opción cuando regrese a Monterrey es una lástima ya que es un edificio antiguo y de tradición digno de admirar.

Seleccioné el hotel por la ubicación y porque tiene alberca, hice el checkin y pregunté por la alberca y me indicaron donde estaba y ya cuando fui a verla resulta que estaba fuera de servicio. Sería bueno que lo indicaran desde el momento que se reserva y en el checkin sobre todo si el huésped pregunta por la alberca. Un elevador no funcionaba y el otro hace mucho ruido.

El hotel se sabe que es antiguo pero habría que conservarlo mejor, solo dos elevadores, uno no sirve y el otro se para automáticamente en cada piso. Las habitaciones son amplias, se agradece l alfombra en el piso pero quién sabe cada cuánto la aspiren, no me gustó l forma de limpiar la habitación, no hacen mi Pieza profunda, l cafetera sucia llena de logo y la tuna de baño con óxido.

The bed linens were clean and the bed was very comfortable but it was a very basic room with few overall amenities. Also having one elevator be broken made wait times long and tedious to get to and from the room. The staff were very friendly and approachable!

La mejor cualidad del hotel es su ubicacion, excelente zona para solicitar taxis, salir a compras, restaurantes y Barrio Antiguo. La habitacion estaba en muy buenas condiciones. Lo que menos me gusto fue que solo funcionaba un elevador y no era suficiente, asi que tenia que usar las escaleras.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was great, our housekeeper Maria was friendly and professional. The gymnasium equipment needs to be fixed but the sauna was excellent.

Pros: Location was great. Breakfast was $90 USD for 4 adults but was delicious. We had two connecting rooms are grateful for a little bit of an early check-in. Parking was included with our stay. Cons: The hotel is old and it used to be kept up to date and beautiful but this visit (4 years later) has me reconsidering it for the next trip. In one room we had glitter still all over the carpet and a hole in it. The other room had no towels at check in. They provide gel body soap but no washcloths to shower. We requested an extra towel and instead of leaving one in the room that already had towels, they took them all and did not replace them AND they attempted to empty our bathroom trash but forgot the bag and left it on the sink right next to our toothbrushes. Also, the white towels are not white and also need updating. Valet takes a very long time as parking is not at the hotel but 1.5 blocks away (as we were told) As someone who travels a lot, charge a little more but replace the carpet, shower head and towels! We were supposed to receive a free drink and a complimentary upgrade but it was never given to us. Upgrades were available to “club” for a fee so your status did not matter here. Also be ready to walk cause you get the furthest from the elevator room. Last, they have sales people pushing their loyalty program if you want a free lunch/ breakfast to listen to them try to sell it to you. If you want directions somewhere you will get chased on your way back in.

Hotel con historia. Buena atencion pero sobre en el Bar 1900 que se encuentra dentro del hotel, las atenciones de los 3 bartenders es excelente. La habitacion que nos toco es pequeña, camas comodas .

Cuartos sucios y muy viejo. Ya me habia hospedado aqui y no habia tenido esas experiencias. Mal olor, alfombra sucia, paredes manchadas, muy mal.todo

We received an “upgrade” to room 215 and it appeared that the room was not used regularly. The room had a small leaving room and the main bedroom. The leaving room was missing the coffee table, the restroom tub didn’t drain properly; making the water puddle, the shower curtain was REALLY old and didn’t hold the water in the tub, the ceiling in the bathroom had a hole, the towels were old, the safe didn’t work. Another big down was the room didn’t have a view, our view was to a roof.

El hotel huele a cañería en casi todos los espacios, las toallas son duras, rotas y feas, no volvería a hospedarme ahí. Mejoren su limpieza.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado en el centro de Monterrey, y desde afuera, aunque se ve viejo, da buena impresión. Al entrar parece un hotel decente, con turistas y familias. Sin embargo, todo se viene abajo con la experiencia real. El elevador no tiene seguridad: cualquier persona puede subir a los pisos, lo cual es un riesgo importante. La primera habitación tenía la ventana rota. Me cambiaron a otra, pero las ventanas no sellan bien y el ruido de la calle es constante e insoportable. La segunda habitación no tenía luz principal, las cortinas estaban sucias y el ambiente era incómodo. Las toallas estaban manchadas y el burro de planchar en condiciones deplorables. Todo se sentía sucio y descuidado. La limpieza general es muy deficiente. La seguridad y el mantenimiento no cumplen estándares básicos. La alberca se veía sucia, así que decidí no usarla. Una estancia totalmente desagradable. No volvería ni lo recomiendo. Este hotel necesita una renovación urgente, tanto en instalaciones como en protocolos de seguridad y limpieza.

La habitacion muy cómoda, espaciosa, limpia, el hotel es muy bonito, no tuvimos ninguna queja con nada. La ubicacion es muy conveniente, caminando pudimos encontrar restaurantes, tiendas y bares. Es muy céntrico y con mucha actividad.

Me gustaron las camas muy confortables, buena ubicación para salir a caminar, lo que no me gustó es que la habitación tenía una cucaracha en el baño y el motor del aire es muy ruidoso pero no la cambiaron...

The hotel itself and its location are great. The rooms were spacious and clean however the restroom was very small and my biggest complaint would be the WiFi, it was horrible, it kept freezing up and it so slow I literally disconnected the entire time and used up my own mobile providers data which used up 90% of my free overseas data I get monthly. They definitely need to invest in a better connection/bandwidth for their guests especially considering it’s a very nice hotel.

El frigo bar no funcionaba, el aire acondicionado de la habitación era deficiente.

Hotel is in old building with a lot of history, it is nice without being excellent, rooms are a bit on the old side, but it seems they are trying to upkeep it. I had two incidents during my stay: I found a cockroach in my dresser and shower water temperature was lukewarm, staff was nice and switched my room, however my new room had a defective shower and an intermittent wi-fi. Please note you will NOT be able to work from this hotel as your Internet connection will keep dropping every 5 minutes. Even though I loved the location and architecture, I will not be staying here again due to the cockroach incident I the fact that is impossible to keep a reliable internet connection.

1.They kept belling and knocking in case we already hanging "no disturb" 2.They took away the towels but didn't put news, when we called frontdoor asking for towels three times the womon was so rude? she hang up the call twice. When my son went to looby to ask again in person because I was in 🚿 waiting the towel , the women was soooo rude to my son. She lied that the towels were outside my room but until he upstaired there was nobody sending the towels. We also find a dirty cloth hanging on the back of bathroom's door, just let them know the frontdoor said Only report when you check in. Very poor service, not worthy of a century-old historical hotel.

Clean room, excellent staff

A mí llegada un valet parking no me permitía ingresar mí vehículo hasta en tanto no le mostrará mí tarjeta de la habitación, que incongruente sí apenas estaba en el check in, pero contaba con previa reservación, pésimo servicio

Reception and bellboy were very nice, but the restaurant staff, abysmal. There were no less than 3 manager/supervisors on the floor with literally 3 tables max doing everything BUT paying attention to their guests. It was literally the worst restaurant service in 15 years since I've lived in Mexico. The hotel room was comfortable.

Muy mal servicio. Desde que llegamos nos recibieron con muy mala cara. Luego a última hora nos comentaron que abría una boda por lo que todo el hotel estaría cerrado para el evento. Posterior a esto en donde estaba nuestra habitación hicieron otro evento por lo que habia mucho ruido y demasiada gente afuera del cuarto. Los únicos dos elevadores llenos y toda la gente amontonada. Me llevo una gran decepción ya que reservamos para un día especial y no pudimos ni cenar en el lugar ni conocerlo. Mala organización con el valet parking y mala actitud de parte de todo en general. Definitivamente no regresaría

Lindo hotel , muy céntrico

Me gusto el hotel se ve conservado aunque algunas áreas podrían tener una remodelación para verse más modernas. Hay sitios cercanos al hotel para salir a caminar, sin embargo algunos alrededores no siempre están limpios o huelen mal

Ubicado en una zona céntrica pero entre calles tranquilas, quedan cerca varios museos y atracciones a pie, hay bastantes lugares para comer al rededor y en general el hotel es muy bonito.

La habitacion muy cómoda, espaciosa, limpia, el hotel es muy bonito, no tuvimos ninguna queja con nada. La ubicacion es muy conveniente, caminando pudimos encontrar restaurantes, tiendas y bares. Es muy céntrico y con mucha actividad.

Excelente ubicación para disfrutar del centro, la Macroplaza, paseo Santa Lucía y moverte a pie.

Location is great walking distance to downtown macro plaza and barrio antiguo. The hotel is a landmark and the staff does a great job on keeping it clean and top notch. What I didn’t like had nothing to do with the Hotel the surrounding areas were filthy specially the downtown needs attention but guess that’s the City’s job.

It is a famous old property but it is well maintained. It is not a modern property. Everything was good, bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice size. You can pay for breakfast buffet in the morning which we did one day it was great with a large selection.

En general está bien. Solo la habitación no cuenta con jabones de barra que harían más espuma que el líquido para regaderas que ofrece. En el toilettte está un tope de puerta que no se ocupa y dificulta sentarse ahí . En el área del restaurante algunos productos tienen un excelente sabor pero están fríos como la barbacoa, el menudo y el pozole…
